This tooth had already gone through two root canals, and another dentist recommended replacing the crown. Instead, Dr. Dino resolved the infection with an antibiotic gum injection, followed by dental hygiene care two weeks later. Now it's May, and my tooth feels healthy and fresh again. No more odor, no more infection, and he saved my crown. The hygienist, Kimberly. Her excellent care truly enhanced the results of Dr. Dino's treatment. Two words immediately come to mind: thorough and intelligent.. I realized that I did not feel safe with such unprofessional staff and decided to cancel my treatment and request a refund. Additionally, the clinic cannot provide their legal name or contact details for official procedures. I have already filed a lawsuit, but the sheriff could not serve the doctor -- at the reception, they claimed the doctor is on sick leave until the scheduled court date. However, when I asked a friend to make an appointment, the doctor was available and seeing patients, which clearly shows deceit. This is an unprofessional and dishonest clinic. Be careful to avoid facing the same problems. I am still pursuing the refund that is rightfully mine.

I immediately called the insurance company and they recommended me to another dentist whom I've been going to however, when the dentist asked for a x-ray of the tooth concerned they sent nothing but blurry pictures. I got the picture from my new dentist. I had to have several teeth redone crowns redone, and now one of my teeth have fallen out of my mouth because he made it where I put a hairline crack into it. I've been going there since 1978 three or four Dentist have gone through that office since then but just did it for me. I'm leaving on bad terms.

What others have said is spot on! Dr. Manssourian really does care for his patient's well being. He's very attentive to detail, you will notice it when he starts a periodontal maintenance on your teeth, picking/scraping away at the gumline between each tooth extensively. As painful as it may be! It is well worth it because of the time and energy he devotes to this. He may recommend checking on your flossing technique, which is understandable and nice that he does this. It sucks in my position because although I floss correctly my gums ALWAYS bleed extensively, every dentist has questioned my flossing technique :( but he is very nice about it and may even make you chuckle. I will admit, certain procedures like the gum rinse at the end that costs near $100 I skip out on as my insurance does not cover and I'm sure the office helps use this to recoup their costs but hey they're a business too and offering these more affordable cleanings to the low income (myself on a delta hmo plan) I can't blame them. I appreciate however that the office staff is upfront about costs and will work with you and your insurance plan/wallet ha. He did recommend on my first visit to do a periodontal cleaning (several hundred dollar procedure). I was skeptical at first since a family-friend hygenist of ours said many dental clinics sell these right and left as almost a business-sales tactic to bring in more revenue ... which I find quite shitty because this is our health we're talking... not some Costco gizmo. But I have had a few dentists recommend it as the gaps on my gumline are several mm so I just went with it. At least it's one of those one-time things, so long as you keep things in check with the maintenances you shouldn't need the procedure again.. And that's another thing I've noticed that shows Dr. Manssourian isn't some sales guy.. when I do floss brush mouth wash etc regularly, even though my gums bleed, he admits that I didn't have a TON of plaque, cavities etc. he said he can tell I'm trying, and my protocol does not revert back to getting another periodontal cleaning or shorter intervals between the maintenances (which, my insurance just covers 2 a year.. one every 6 months. So I try to be on top of it to not pay an extra session or two out of pocket which is now like a hundred bucks at his office). So overall, yes I would recommend him. Especially if the office is accepting new patients, which at the time I was looking I was grateful they were. Oh and Dr. Lou! Dr. Lou is good too but I prefer my sessions with Dr. Manssourian as I can tell he gives more time and attention to my cleanings.. Dr. Lou likes to use the hypersonic tool, maybe hes not as comfortable with the pick / scrapey tool as Dr. Manssourian, which that hypersonic tool kinda screeches in my ears. But he is friendly and honest too. Thanks Dr. Manssourian for what you and your office does, offering quality periodontal care at a reasonable price for us on low-income dental care! :)

Dr Fine came in and and started remarking about my teeth one by one as she examined them, and when it was all said & done she wanted to start with deep plane scaling and cleaning in 2 major sessions, and then basically make over most of my mouth with crowns and implants, as if my mouth is/was a complete disaster! One concern I had was a single dark fine vertical line I had developed on of each of my 2 front teeth, (possibly a superficial crack?) and she only offered veneers as a solution, but then said there was no way she would do them until I did a full course with Invisalign. I spent 6+ years of my youth in full upper and lower braces, double headgear, and after the bands, double retainers. I even had 4 extractions to accommodate the correction. My teeth are quite nice. It did not take long to realize this was not my dentist! I have since found a dentist who is amazing, has her own practice in Encino, is on the more conservative side, but can & will do anything you need. She's very skilled. She does not upsell. She said my mouth looks great, and whatever I'm doing, to keep it up. She also did bonding on my front teeth, which was easy, painless, affordable & looks beautiful! The lines are gone and the work looks so natural! She also takes my dental insurance, which Dr Fine does not.

His whole staff is great, starting with front desk Juanita. His dental assistant, Maddie, is a natural with kids and made my kid feel at ease. He is normally very shy but warmed up to Maddie quickly. Dr. Ivan was very gentle with the whole root canal procedure, and my son was able to get through the whole procedure with just laughing gas. 10/10 experience! Kudos to the whole office.

Even when I mentioned that I felt like I had certain procedures done before, the dentist stated that if I had that information to provide then it would alleviate some of the other steps that I would have to take that he had mentioned.
