Sharetea Cerritos location was one of the few tasty boba places around the area. So when the Fullerton location opened up I was really excited that we no longer have to drive out to Cerritos. The location is easy to find and I'm glad the storefront is located near the more interior part of the plaza. Restaurants like the ramen place or pieology are located at parts of the plaza with minimal parking and wiggle room for vehicles. The drinks did not disappoint. The mango green tea is our all time favorite. We also tried the new item boba fresh milk, which was actually quite good as well. It's unlike regular milk tea, the fresh milk has a nice blend of the boba and taste of honey, not overwhelmingly sweet like some other milk tea from lesser quality boba shops. It's nice to see a quality boba place is in the area. Looking forward to frequent this place to quench our bimonthly boba cravings. read more

New boba place in Fullerton super close to Cal State Fullerton. Heard so many good things about Sharetea and it turned out to be such a disappointment. Obviously the place is new to Fullerton and as new customers I feel like the customer service could have been so much better. We were asking for suggestions and all the girl at the register had to offer was "it's up to you" well duh... I ended up getting the mango & passion fruit tea and my boyfriend got the crema with mini boba. I did not like my mango & passion fruit tea at all and they left passion fruit seeds in it. I also didn't like the crema. Plus when went to go pick it up the girl that gave it to us also gave us a mini plastic knife... This boba place is super close to CSUF, practically walking distance! The place has about 4 small tables, 1 large table, and a counter with a couple of chairs to sit on. There is also a bathroom for customers to use in the back. The only thing I wish they had was music because all you hear are people talking and blenders blending. Also, you can study here cause there are plenty of outlets and there is free wifi! Now let's talk about the drinks. This place has bomb milk tea. I came here twice already and ordered the Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea (Roasted brown sugar) because it was so good. The drink only comes in one size though. There are also many toppings to choose from that are .50 each. They have pearl (boba), mini pearl, aloe vera, herb jelly, pudding, red bean, lychee jelly, ice cream, and aiyu jelly. If you check-in on yelp you get one free topping! So I suggest checking-in! haha. I usually get the pearl, which is boba in my drink. They give so much though and sometimes it may be overwhelming but you could just tell them to put less in your drink. Anyways you'll definitely be seeing me here more often. read more

Came here for a sweet drink to start off a nice Saturday out. Was packed when we got in and there was a long line extending out the door. I ordered their special Oreo pearl ice blended drink. It had the items in its namesake, and it was very good (really sweet too). The only thing that I didn't like was that there was one size for all the drinks. The other day I was looking for a boba type place and I found 3 listed all in one intersection. I first drove by this ice cream place because I originally felt like having ice cream. It was packed and the line was out the door, not moving at all. The other corner had a Quickly but those are pretty low-key and generally not a clean place but still offer good drinks. The third corner has a boba place which is OK but pricey for what you get. Almost like a boutique where they feel unique and can charge you an extra $1 or $2 for it. So finally I went to the last corner and found Sharetea! It did have a line just barely out the door but I noticed it as moving rather quickly. They only serve drinks (at this location) and it's a pretty wide yet simple menu. So I decided to try it out and glad I did! As soon as I got to the register and placed my order, it was done about 2 minutes later and it was packed inside. They seem to have a great system down and can pump out the drinks! Overall the people are pretty nice, sort of depends on who you get. No one is mean or anything, just some are more welcoming than others. I usually go to the other Sharetea location a lot, but decided to try the one here in Fullerton. Was tempted to try their oreo slush, but the drink tasted okay. Didn't really taste the oreos. In my opinion, it tasted more of like a frosty milk slush. The person I was with got black milk tea and it tasted okay as well. Overall, the drinks didn't really make me that happy but the place here is clean and cute. There's tables to sit to wait and you can study here I guess, but it can get pretty loud. read more

Mango passionfruit tea and kiwi fruit tea are really good! In the kiwi fruit tea, there were kiwi bits on the bottom that added sweetness and made it really good. I love that you can adjust the sweetness and request no ice. They were efficient and repeated back our order at the end which is always a great sign of good training and customer service. Probably the best place to satisfy my boba fix if I want to stay in the Fullerton area. They have a variety of options, their tea is good, and they can do 0% sugar! :D My favorite drinks are the classic black milk tea and the matcha with fresh milk. Their portions are pretty generous (both the amount of drink and the amount of topping). They have cool bottles (the lightbulb), but I didn't feel like paying extra for less drink and a prettier bottle. Sharetea has always been one of my favorite options for boba drinks, but this specific store might have just moved into my top spot! I've noticed a lot of places usually don't have their boba ready until an hour or so after opening time. I get it, the employees need time to cook it. This was also the case for the Sharetea in Costa Mesa when I stopped by around noon after they had just opened at 11:30 AM. So I wasn't very hopeful when I came here during my lunch break. I was craving their mango green tea and figured I would just get a different topping. But LO AND BEHOLD, they had boba ready just 15 minutes after opening time (around 11:45 AM)! Needless to say, I was a very happy customer. I'm hoping this wasn't a one-time coincidence because I plan on returning often now that I work nearby. One recommendation, being that this may be the best boba place in the area, and with CSUF, several high schools, JR high schools, elementary schools and businesses nearby, be prepared to wait a LONG time in a LONG line. They have good quality boba and their teas are usually good! But once I ordered some pretty lavender drink, and it was a literally sugar bomb. I usually finish my drink within 2 hours if I like it, but pretty sure I ended up taking that home and adding milk to save it lol. Also there can be a line at night (which sucks!! But they give the best portion for the price for this area), other than that- the customer service is always chill! Music can be a bit loud, and this is definitely NOT a study tea place. I love Sharetea because it tastes the same whether I'm at a location in the Bay Area, Houston, or here in Fullerton. (I always get BGMT with sugar and ice adjustments.) Be warned, though. Their milk teas taste milkier (creamier?) than most tea places in the SGV so if you are lactose intolerant or just prefer less milky drinks, I suggest you order one of their teas. Their drinks are generally very sweet, also, so I adjust it to get 25% or 50% sugar rather than the regular 100%. read more

Updated my review: I used to come here all the time when I went to CSUF. Graduated a few years ago but remembered my mom likes their herb jelly and since I was in the area, I stopped by. Unfortunately, the hospitality was not good. I placed an order for a drink and when I tried to use the check in offer for a free topping, was told I could not use it because the drink already came with the topping? I had done it previously all the time, but maybe it is a new store policy? It seems silly because the drinks with topping added is already priced higher to compensate for the topping. Anyways, the cashier who rung me up was not friendly at all. He just told me they did not do that and disregarded my confusion and made me feel like I was incompetent, like I did not know anything. I get most of the people who work at small places are part time college students, but there is a sense of dignity to give other people.
