Perfect treat in the Scripps/Mira (Manila) Mesa area! Location/ambiance: Right off the 15 freeway and tucked in a little shopping center near Angel's Massage. The shop itself? Spacious, bright, and clean with tons of tables, chairs, and even an in-store restroom. Looks newly renovated under new ownership too. Bonus: plenty of parking in the plaza, so that's a plus! Experience: Walked in and realized I might have been the first (or only) guest there. Hey...I beat the crowds for sure! Ann, the superstar employee that day helped me fine-tune my order. I went with the Grapefruit Green Tea which was a winner in my book. I'm a sucker for grapefruit so this was an obvious choice ! I added the topping, lychee jelly (because always YES to lychee jelly), dropped the sweetness to 30%, and kept the ice light. Result? A crisp, citrusy, refreshing drink that was basically summer in a cup. It was what I needed on this warm, humid day! The menu is extensive - fruit teas, milk teas, boba everything. So many reasons to come back and sip my way through it. Huge thanks to Sharetea for the refereshing treat! Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

We came in here on Monday, April 13th about 3:45pm craving boba after visiting the bank next door. The temperature in the store was so hot and humid. I could not believe that they serve food in there. We were craving boba so we wanted to get a drink. We still decided to wait. After maybe 3-4 mins. The girl making drinks NEVER acknowledged us once. Not a "hello" or "I'll be right with you." NOTHING. We left and took our business elsewhere.

Service and ambiance okay, but lack of foot traffic should have been red flag, ordered std green milk tea with boba boba not up to par, hard, chalky, and clearly not fresh batch. Not meeting Share Tea standard if want to have repeat customers.

I've never had Sharetea's matcha. It was time for me to try it so I ordered one with fresh milk and at 30% sweet. Vivian did a great job making it. It was not overly sweet, which allowed the matcha flavor to come through nicely. There's was just a subtle sweetness towards the end. It was great. The service she provided was very good, too. She was patient and super friendly. Thank you!

Came here for the Yelp elite event. The place has been here for years, located in a not so busy plaza near the Trader Joe's. The place is regular tea shop size with some cute decor, bright and clean. The server is friendly and knowledgeable. I got the passion chess, which is passion fruit green tea with boba and lychee jelly. The tea is good not overpowering by the other flavor, and boba is well cooked and served in a the right temperature (don't like the "warm" boba in my ice cold drink). Got the 50% sweet level but I will go with 25% next time. Overall, nice boba shop to try out when you are in the neighborhood!

Omg the boba here is God sent. I'm a bubble tea lover and most places don't impress me. I went on a behalf of Yelp for the Yelp Elite Week. The two people working there were friendly and welcoming which is what I noticed first. I yapped about how I moved to SD from VA. I appreciated the aesthetics and cleanliness. I ordered the classic pearl milk tea. I asked about the sweetness levels and that helped a lot. 50% sweetness with boba is plenty sweetness in my opinion. To each their own. I will be back!! I'm impressed!

Actually went here for their Re-Grand Opening under new ownership. I actually went here back in 2017 when they had their grand opening cause I knew the owners. But overall, the layout is still the same. Located in Mira Mesa in a plaza where there's a Trader Joe's and a few eateries. The drinks are still good and they added some new ones since the last time I went. There's no food since they don't have a kitchen for cooking. Plenty of seating inside and a few outside too. Parking is good but can be busy. It's a great spot to grab a drink after dinner.

I was invited to a Yelp Elite event since Sharetea has a new owner. I enjoyed the experience since they had a Welcome sign for Yelp elite members, a lanyard with name tag and free cute boba stickers. I got my free boba drink as a Yelp elite member and ordered my favorite Honey Pearl Black Milk Tea. I also ordered one for my hubby, the slushy Taro Milk Tea with boba. To my surprise, I even received $1 off for the second order. Met the new owner who was really nice and she even offered free juice tasting. I really liked the blueberry tea sample. I hope you support new small business owners. So come over and enjoy some delicious boba drinks and juices!!!

Great Customer Service, Emma and Will. We will visit again. Yum yum yum yum, to fulfill 85 character review. Now I can submit this review, thanks a lot yelp, for not taking my short review and have to keep typing nonsense.

We placed a big catering order with ShareTea for a friend's baby shower and they were amazing from start to finish. They're under new management now, and the team was super helpful, friendly, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We ordered regular milk tea and taro milk tea, and each cup came with boba. They also made sure to include plenty of straws for all the drinks, which we really appreciated. Everything was fresh, perfectly made, and exactly what we asked for. Everyone at the baby shower loved the drinks! Thank you, ShareTea, for helping make the celebration even more special. We'll definitely be ordering from you again!

Quick service with a friendly smile. Always consistent. Our go to place. Manager made an extra drink. Gave it to us complimentary.

This is honestly one of my favorite boba places. Although they're usually a bit slow when they're making the drinks, the quality makes up for it. Whenever I get boba, I usually ask for extra, and they never disappoint me with the amount they give. I also like that there's games I can play with my siblings while waiting for the drinks to be made.

We had the handmade taro with fresh milk at a different location before and it tasted so weird. Almost like unfizzy watered down Coca Cola. But here we decided to try the same drink and it was much better. So I don't know what happened at the other location but it was normal here and not bad. Drink was made relatively quickly too.

The staff were all very polite, friendly, and quick, which made the experience even better. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte for $6, and while I wouldn't call it the best coffee I've ever had, it was genuinely good especially for that price in San Diego. They also have espresso, pour-overs, cold brew, matcha, and several specialty drinks if you're looking for something beyond a standard latte. Then there's the dessert case, which is honestly dangerous if you don't have any self-control. HINAR has an impressive selection of beautifully presented cakes, cheesecakes, pastries, and other desserts, with several rotating specialty cakes. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

The café is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food looked decent. I was actually excited to try everything. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by our interaction with one employee, Angelika. There were only a few pastries left, so I politely asked if there were any more in the back or if additional pastries were being baked. Her response was simply, "No," but it was the dismissive and condescending tone that stood out. Throughout our interaction, her responses felt short, cold, and passive-aggressive. When our order was ready, she placed the plate on our table without saying anything and walked away. She later came back to collect the table number and again didn't say a word. I understand these may sound like small things, but basic hospitality goes a long way--something as simple as "Enjoy" or "Have a great meal" makes customers feel welcomed. This was especially disappointing because Hinar is a Kurdish café, and I was genuinely looking forward to experiencing the warmth and hospitality that Middle Eastern culture is known for. Unfortunately, our interaction felt like the complete opposite. Thankfully, another employee, Yama, was completely different. When we shared our concerns with him, he was respectful, professional, and genuinely kind. He handled the situation exactly the way you would hope someone representing a business would. Yama was a great reflection of what the customer experience should be. My wife also mentioned that she had experienced a similar situation with Angelika during a previous visit. Her friend had asked whether the matcha foam could be mixed into the drink. Angelika immediately said they couldn't do it. When they explained that another employee had done it for them previously, she responded that he wasn't supposed to. They then asked Yama, and he happily said, "Sure, no problem," and accommodated them. That kind of inconsistency is frustrating as a customer. Unfortunately, things got even more uncomfortable during our visit. While my wife and I were sitting down enjoying our drinks and cheesecake, we noticed Angelika repeatedly staring at us. At one point, she motioned for me to come over with a "come here" hand gesture without saying anything. I found that extremely disrespectful and uncomfortable. As a paying customer, I shouldn't feel like I'm being summoned or treated as though I've done something wrong. I approached her calmly and asked if there was an issue. I explained that I felt her customer service throughout our visit had been poor and unprofessional. Her response was, "I'm just giving you the same energy you were giving me." That honestly surprised me because I don't believe I had been rude or disrespectful to her at any point. I asked a couple of simple questions and expected the same basic courtesy that any customer should receive. I've worked in customer service and sales for years, so I understand that dealing with the public isn't always easy. At the same time, I know how much customer service matters. Employees are the face of a business, and unfortunately, one negative interaction can completely change someone's impression of an otherwise beautiful establishment. The café itself has a lot going for it--the space is beautiful, the food was decent enough, and Yama was excellent. But based on our experience, I think management should seriously address the way customers are being treated by certain staff members. I hope this review is taken constructively because I would genuinely like to see Hinar Café succeed. It's a beautiful place with a lot of potential, and with the right customer service, it could leave people with a completely different and much more positive impression.
