I've been coming here several times a week for the past six months, and literally every experience has been so joyful. Every drink I've tried has been great, but they know me best by my mocha order. I've enjoyed several of the food orders (sausage chili jam croissant, and banana chocolate chip loaf primarily). This is my first time ordering Better Buzz. Cristina was very helpful in giving me recommendations. The recommendations were hard for me to choose because there is so many good options to pick. However, Cristina was also able to help me narrow down drinks so I got a Hazelnut Divinity! As highly expected, this drink is delicious because it's made by Darian. Watching him making my drink was satisfying, I like how he also keeps his station clean at the same time while making my drink ! I also ordered a Turkey Pesto which is phenomenal like I am in gasped. Shout out to Russel ! He's the one who made my sandwich, I recommend that you should ask for him to make one ! Overall, the customer service is what I never expected to be that good! Try it out ! A cute and clean place. Located in a big plaza but parking can be difficult unless you park further away. Spacious with lots of seating, good for working and groups. They even have a Drive-thru! It was busier there than inside the store. My husband ordered the Freshly Roasted coffee but it was very watered down so he had to get a new drink (without charge) They forgot my order after 15 minutes in. They apologized and comp me a pastry. I had the Pistachio Croissant and it was really good. The croissant was soft and had lots of pistachio nuts. My Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever was good. I jist wished I tasted more banana. I would come back to try their other menu items. They have such a huge selection not just coffee. read more

Don't come to the location !!!!! I love better buzz but this location was sooo smelly! I literally walked in wanting to study and lounge around but as soon as I walked in, I got hit with a wave of vomit smell. I don't know why it smells like that. Safe to say I walked right out the door to a local coffee shop. If a place is smelly you just never know the condition in the back where they make coffee and heat up food. I have fond memories of the Hazelnut Divinity drink from other Better Buzz locations. This experience was unfortunately disappointing. The staff seemed disorganized even though there weren't that many customers. The first worker took our drink orders by writing it on each cup, and then we had to repeat our order again since the second worker only got to the register by our 3rd drink. The first worker was partially making our drinks while also listening to us relay the order again to the second worker. I believe this is what resulted in the drink mistakes. We ordered: -Hazelnut Divinity with oat milk and regular sugar -Hazelnut Divinity with whole milk and half sugar -Vanilla Latte with oat milk -Banana Matcha with a splash of oat Unfortunately, they got the order wrong and gave us whole milk for both Hazelnut Divinity drinks despite one of the labels saying oat milk and us paying for the oat milk substitution. On top of that, most of the drinks ran on the overly sweet side compared to the other times that I've had Hazelnut Divinity. The tables, booths, and floor also looked quite dirty. I've been to several Better Buzz locations, but would not be likely to return to this one. read more

I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of Better Buzz, but this location was honestly a bit worse than several of the others I've been to. The drive-thru line has an unconventional set up, they have really big rushes, and the customer service is fair-to-middling. I went in a Saturday around noon and about 15 people arrived at the same time as me. Obviously that's no one's fault, and the staff were under pressure, but it took unusually long to get the mocha blended iced coffee as I sat with my too other drinks. The blended iced coffees themselves were good enough, though characteristically too sweet. The cold brew was middle of the road. Decent drinks overall, just an odd layout, an excessively busy store, and not the greatest customer service. read more

I was very excited for a mid day pick me up coffee and unfortunately it was not a great pick me up experience. Firstly service was a mess. There were 5 workers but somehow everything was very disorganized. Our cashier wanted to make our drinks one by one before taking down our order on the cash register which caused some errors in our drinks. For example we were charged an extra $1.00 for oat milk but our drinks had whole milk in them. When we finally did get our drinks they were extremely sweet so it was difficult to taste the coffee. Additionally, the shop was quite dirty and there were crumbs everywhere from the tables to the chairs to the floors. This is my first and likely last time at this Better Buzz. read more

I always get the best drink ever iced, but have tried other things on their menu. As far as the food, you can never go wrong with their cheese danish or Açaí bowl. Love this place, they are always fast and efficient. This time I tried their orange chocolate chip scone and I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually a fan of scones but they did it well. It was very light in the orange flavor, I feel like they could have added a bit more orange to it. I also tried their banana pudding best drink ever and it was great. I loved the Nilla wafer cookies they topped the drink with, it was a nice sweet treat. I ate the cookie first so when I pulled them out they were covered in the banana cold foam and that was lovely. Unfortunately this particular location absolutely must train its staff better. First of all they lack the friendliness. that i'm used to at better buzz. Then they don't listen to the customer's order carefully. I ordered a decaf mocha with an extra half scoops of mocha. The guy at the register typed in an extra scoop of mocha the n added half sweet. I corrected him by saying i wanted it extra sweet not half sweet. He insisted he was correct. Of course five minutes later the drink comes out half sweet and had to be remade from scratch. This place is hidden , wow it's been here for 3 years . The drive thru is so narrow , I don't think the construction team had large SUV's in mind . That yellow posts looks like it's been hit a few times . The staff is great how ever . I usually use the drive thru when I come here. It's kinda different where you loop around. It has a few seats outside. Free parking I tried to study here but the inside is small. Not a lot of seating area or places to plug in. The drive thru staff has been nice. My go to drinks is the matcha iced or energy drink. Sign up on the app and earn rewards. Our go-to order is espresso in a large cup filled with ice in order to make protein coffee (Just add your favorite protein drink) We were so impressed by how strong their espresso is. We normally get a double shot, but chose to do a single shot. So glad we did because it was stronger than a double shot from Starbucks/Dutch Bros. Ashley was honestly so awesome. You know when you're having a bad day and someone being kind and gracious really just makes the BIGGEST difference? That was what Ashley did for me. I had ordered a drink from a different better buzz location but it was disgusting. Chunky instead of blended, tasted like straight syrup. I was so disappointed and this was my one coffee run for the week. Luckily I was passing by the better buzz in Mira Mesa, I told Ashley about my drink and without hesitation she had it remade for me -- even though their store didn't make it, even though they lost money for it.
