This location is right at the Promenade! I got the matcha red bean tea 50% sweet and it was perfect ! There isn't a lot of seating inside. There are 4 stools inside. This is more of a grab and go place. Service was fine. You can order from the kiosk or order with the cashier. I was happy there was a share tea there for my Asian drinks craving !

Very close to Santa Monica Pier. We walked there after walking through the pier. It's a small walk up spot on Broadway. You place an order at the kiosk, very easy. They call your name as soon as it's ready. Not much of interaction. I had the milk tea with 50% sugar and it was perfect. I'd stop by again when in the area.

I was so excited to find out that there is a Sharetea near Santa Monica Pier. It is literally a couple blocks from the pier. My eldest daughter and I were at the pier for a CHLA Walk & Play LA fundraising event back in May 2024. I made sure we got some boba drink after the event so here we are... It took us less than 10 mins to walk from the pier to Sharetea. It's a small shop compared to other Sharetea locations. Staff was friendly and greeted us upon entry. I knew exactly what I wanted which was the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea with all the toppings that come with it plus 100% sweetness and no ice. My daughter got the Peach Green Tea with aiyu jelly plus 100% sweetness and no ice. We were the only customers in the shop at the time so it didn't take them too long to make our drinks. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my QQ Happy Family. I was not very happy LOL. It was not sweet at all. It was the worst QQ Happy Family that I have ever drank and I've drank quite a number of them. I still drank it though... I didn't want it to go to waste. It was just an unsweetened QQ. I don't know what happened, but it was not a tasty boba drink. As for my daughter's drink, it was fine. Hence, overall 3 stars.

Ordered two tarro blended boba teas with tapioca, it was soooo good. Kind of sketchy homeless population lingering out front but they caused no problems. I was in and out quick. Parking options are slim. Highly recommend.

Tasty coffee milk tea with boba added. I enjoyed this a lot. Only one person was working so there was a bit of a wait. But it was yummy and worth it. Got this instead of a morning coffee and while not cheap, it wasn't much more than a specialty coffee in many places.

Boba by the beach? Yes please! Came here on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have to wait too long to get our drinks. You can conveniently order at kiosks and they display an approximate wait time on a TV screen so you can easily see how many orders are ahead of yours and when your order is ready. Also for my fellow vegans, you don't need to worry about asking what toppings or drinks are vegan friendly because they have a sign that conveniently tells you!

Tons of great options at Sharetea -- fruit teas, milk teas, blended options, and non-caffeinated drinks! The best part about this location is there is the option to order on an iPad outside. You are offered all the same options - choosing amount of ice, sweetness, and add-ins, but you can skip the line! After I ordered, it said my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes, but it was ready in 5! I ordered the (27) Mango & Passion Fruit Tea and it was perfectly refreshing for a day at the beach. I want to go back and try some of the other flavors.

My friend and I were walking around downtown Santa Monica and stumbled upon this boba place! They had an impressive menu and add on options but I opted for a sweeter, chocolatey boba. (they also have coffee options if that's your jam!) I really loved the taste of my drink! The foam was bit too sweet for my liking but it was good. They also give you a pretty large portion for the prices too which is always great. They didn't have any seating options inside but we were walking along anyways so it was okay. There isn't really any street parking in this area as it's super touristy and near the pier, so this place was more of a place you'd go out of convenience of being in the area rather than going here specifically. That being said, if I'm ever in this area again I'll be back! I want to try more flavors.

A little seaside boba shop. Super close to the pier. I went here with my friends after a long day at the beach. Kiosks were displayed both inside and outside the restaurant which speeds up the ordering process. I got the mango green tea and mango+passion fruit green tea both of which were good! While I enjoyed my honey black tea here, the boba was undercooked, so it wasn't great. I still gave 4 stars because the staff were super nice and helpful, and service was quick. Yay finally a legit boba shop in Santa Monica! At a great location to introduce bubble tea to the tourists too LOL. It's a small to go space and the workers are nice and friendly. I'm so glad they marked the caffeine-free drinks on the menu, because I stopped by after dinner (at Kazunori across the street) and I can't have caffeinated drinks too late. They have one size here (large) and the standard options for sweetness (100%, 80%, 50%, 30% and 0%) and ice amount. I got the winter melon milk tea ($5.75) with boba (+ $0.75), less sweet (80%) and less ice. It was delicious! Perfect amount of sweetness for me (I think people who are sensitive to sweet could go down to 50% or less, since I like my boba on the sweet side). They do use paper straws here, yay for the environment! I had trouble poking in my straw though, but funny enough they anticipated that and have little disposable poking tools to help. Great place to stop at before a day of shopping at Third Street, walking the pier or the Farmer's Market!

Conveniently located sharetea. Walking distance from the pier and the promenade. We grabbed a milk tea and a peach green tea. It took a good 15-20 minutes to get our drinks once we ordered. The drinks were good.

This place is conveniently located near the santa monica pier. I am a regular at other locations so I figured this would be a decent place too. My mango and passionfruit tea with no toppings came out to over $7, which is a lot more expensive than other locations. Worst part is they gave flimsy paper straws with it. The drink tastes roughly the same so that was a good thing at least.

This boba shop is located right across Meat on Ocean. I'm very happy that a high quality boba shop is located within walking distance from my place. I really liked the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea. It's got the perfect blend of toppings and milk tea. I tried the 30% sugar level and I probably should have just ordered it the 100% sugar level since it was really great even when I felt I needed more sugar! I liked the classic pearl milk tea but I think it needed more tea flavor. I am being picky here. If I hadn't had a Wushiland boba tea, I would have thought this milk tea was super good. Wushiland has a little bit more tea flavor. I tasted more milk flavor here instead. I wish you could add actual lychee bits in the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea. Service is fast and friendly. There is a difference in pricing for cash vs credit cards. (4% lower for cash) A lot of people don't carry cash. You can park in a public lot for 1.5 hrs free nearby. I look forward to trying the other flavors here. People must support this boba shop. Yelpers get a 10% discount for checking in. It must be the city ordinance regarding paper straws. Paper straws are terrible. I used my extra plastic boba straws I collected from other boba shops instead. read more

I always have specific ice and sugar level requests and they without-fail deliver exactly what I ordered every time--which is something I cannot say about a lot of boba places in LA. The store is also clean and the service is pretty quick, making it a go-to store for me. I especially love the matcha red bean milk tea! My daughter's review for this boba shop: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I specifically asked form boba, and was given a bitter cup of ice. I don't know if it is just the workers, but this is the worst boba I have ever had. In the image in the board, there was an image of boba in the drink I ordered. I see this as false advertising, and it should say on the side, "you have to ask for your own boba, it inks not included unless you ask." Well, I did ask but still didn't get the boba .Another thing to add is the straws. I know paper straws are better for the environment, but it can't even puncture the plastic covering. In conclusion, I would not recommend this place if you like boba, it will ruin your experience, it is also a waste of time and money. read more

The matcha blended red bean with ice cream was pretty good. But for a matcha feen like me, was lacking matcha. I usually order my drinks with extra matcha wherever I go but they said I couldn't customize my order that way. Disappointing to hear as most other shops can accommodate. If they did, I would probably be a regular but doubt I will go back now. The paper straws are also very difficult to poke into the drink - the drink spilled and spurted out in both of drinks, getting my fiancé's jacket all wet. The straw also disintegrated halfway through drinking it. read more

paper straws to puncture the plastic covering?! lol you end up smashing your straw before you even get to your drink and the straw is disintegrating 1/2 way through it. hard pass. there's compostable plastic alternatives now that make much more sense than paper. paying $16 for 2 not great drinks and your straw barely works :/ won't be back. read more

The worst place ever me and my sister came. We came there to get a drink. We did not have are masks with us. We come up to order and the first thing the person says, step outside because you don't have your masks on. we had to stay outside to order . The thing is that we were standing out side and screaming are order. After we order she was like ok come here to pay but that doesn't make any sense. Cause we had to go out side to order and then stay in side to pay like what. She was like that's are police and safety. In what just happened to as we can not call that safety. read more

I'm not one to take time to write a review but I think it's well deserved. My wife and I were looking for a boba shop for our kids today, our kids are obsessed with boba and we found this little boba shop by the pier. It was very busy and it looks as though they were understaffed. Kevin was very friendly and profusely apologized for taking so long to make our drinks, but it seemed like he was the only one making the drinks. He was so polite and despite the line going out the door, the wait wasn't long at all! He's a great barista and the drinks turned out delicious! Thank you Kevin!!! The taro ice blended was so good and went so well with the pudding. Definitely recommend. 10/10 customer service, 10/10 taste! read more

Double jasmine milk tea with jasmine "silk boba" (more of a jelly) has great tea flavor as well and 50% default perfect sugar is good, though jelly doesn't have a distinct jasmine flavor in my opinion. When it's cold out, also love getting the hot version of the jasmine milk tea. Miss the coconut sugar boba option that was more unique but got replaced with brown sugar boba which is sweeter. The Sawtelle location had an Iron Buddha Wintermelon that was a good balance of sweetness with tea flavor that the Santa Monica one doesn't have unfortunately. All in all, really happy to have such a solid boba spot in a very easily accessible location in Santa Monica.

It was indeed made with love, as it was made to order. I got lucky with my photos because a huge crowd came in after I placed my order, so don't let my photos fool you. This place does get busy. There were six people when I got there that were leaving and about twelve when I left. I highly recommend Turn Dough if you want a refreshing treat, especially to walk around at the promenade or Ocean Ave.

I ordered through one of the kiosk screens on the right hand side when you first walk in. There's two screens but only one of them worked. So I had to wait until the guest before me finished ordering. I ended up getting the Earl Grey Matcha with sago. I couldn't figure out how to add a new Rewards account to it. It kept erroring out, but oh well. I have a few minutes awaiting my drink was done. It's pretty tasty I'm still shocked how busy Sawtelle is typically. Parking here it's not easy. I wanted to try some of the places here while I got lucky with parking Glad I saw this place across the street beyond all the trees covering this sign in the building solved pretty much. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.

For a 1/4 lb of Hawaiian poke, it was about $9.50. Whats also strange is that I grabbed my soup (did not pay for it in the back), and my Hawaiian poke and then paid up front. Everything came close to $20. I sat in my car, (which thank goodness, this seafood market has its own parking lot, so that was greatly appreciated), and dug into my soup. Unfortunately, the soup was pretty bland and needed a bit more salt. But, I will say that the ingredients used in the fish chowder were all very fresh, and fish wasnt overcooked, but it needed to be seasoned more. Hawaiian poke was great, excellent taste. Overall, a so so experience, I would have liked better scenery to eat my food being I was very close to the beach and wished I had a more seasoned fish chowder. I could be convinced to come back and give it a second try, but I think I might prefer to visit Malibu Seafood which isnt too far from here and has great ocean views.
