So I looked at the reviews before I went to Sharks, and it had me a little nervous because there were lots of opportunities around the service. I went specifically for a reunion and just in our group alone, there were probably over 30 people, and the establishment still had it regular business on a Friday evening. I got there a little after 6 pm, and a large portion of my party were already there, and their drink orders had already been taken. Shortly after getting there, my drink order was taken. We ordered appetizers, jalapeno popper dip, mini burritos, loaded mushrooms, and wings. My sister ordered their KS strip. Considering how busy it was, our waiter came over pretty often to make sure we were OK even though they were slammed. The food came out hot and can I tell you for "bar" food, it was amazing!! I don't know about you, but I'm always on the lookout for a great Philly Cheesesteak in the Midwest. Sad to say, the Pickin's are quite slim in my neck of the woods. I'm still trying to make it to Philadelphia to eat the best one there, but so far, I've only made it to Pittsburgh...oh, soooo close... The best I can do for my region of the planet is Sharks Restaurant and Billards. Upon the suggestion of an extended family member I rolled up to check it out. What a huge establishment with tons of space housing pool tables and big screen TV's everywhere! There is also a nice restaurant area and bar. Wow, what a treat! The server was chipper with a great personality. I ordered a regular Philly vs the spicy one and a house salad. The Philly was sooo good. The beef, peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese were delightful! Omgudness, I've thought about it often since I left. The Lord willing, I've GOT to make it back for another one. The staff welcomed me and told me to come back. Other customers were friendly and one even jumped in a picture that was being taken of me. What could I say? I graciously let him in. The ambiance is fun and relaxing and a great date night spot. There were people shooting pool and I know some were regulars. Oh and the menu has quite a variety with daily specials. They have appetizers, comfort food as well as down-home cooked meals/dinners. What a delight! Want a great place to shoot pool or watch a sporting event with plenty of space and excellent food? The food here is good but my biggest complaint is when people reserve both areas for an event. We came here specifically to shoot darts but not allowed to since ALL of the dart boards are in both areas!! And what makes it worse is NO ONE is using those dart boards!! Why tf do you not put at least a couple of dart boards in another area in case you run into situations like this?! Fucking stupid af! Now we have to go to Side Pockets just to shoot darts. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. They kick everyone out 30 minutes before their actual closing time that's listed. They won't let you wait inside, they will kick you out into freezing temperatures. And they only give you literally 1 minute for last call. read more

The manager changed the bar clock to be 15 minutes ahead and told people they had to leave. The door said they close at 1:30a.m and the manager started knocking in pool balls that people paid for at 1:11a.m. 21 degrees outside and would not let people wait inside for their rides. Shark's is a great time! They have ALL the bar games and plenty of space for large groups and tournaments. I haven't had a full meal there, but I'm told the burger is good and I can attest that the tots are grade A. I especially enjoy the darts section in the back. The boards are high quality and it's close to the bar :) I also recommend getting a specialty shot. We had one the last time I was there (they're only about $4 each) and it tasted JUST like a jolly rancher. Plenty of seating and space to enjoy Sunday football Pastrami sandwich and chicken wings were hot and tasty. House baked chips were excellent. Came to play pool with my sons at7pm.I've been in APA/ BCA/ and 9 ball leagues, and always enjoyed playing just about every place. This one took the cake! Had a manager come up and lie to my face 2 times! He told me kids weren't allowed past 9, and that I can understand. But to say he came around at 8, and told everyone was a lie! Which I called him out on, and then he changed his story to he said it over the speakers! I was there with another dad and son; and they didn't hear anything either. We had to leave our food, and drinks half eaten. As, we were told to leave immediately! Funny, it was only 8:50 and we supposedly had 10 min!! I will never visit this place, and I would hope the leagues would change locations for tournaments. Otherwise, I will be a no show for anything at that place with liars and rude staff! Booked a reservation at sharks for a birthday party of 10-12 people. When we arrive the space was reserved and ready. We had one server through the night but she was on it! I went here last night. It was a Saturday night at 10pm and they were super busy. My sister and I were there to shoot some pool. They did not have any openings when we got there so we ordered Chipotle flavored wings and drinks to wait for the crowd to die down. After an hour or so they were still full on the pool tables, so we decided to call it a night. I definitely would not recommend going on a weekend night because you would have to be aggressive enough to get a table (it's a first come, first serve style) otherwise you would probably be waiting for a while. Also, the girl's bathroom was filthy. The floor was really wet where you can actually slip and fall if you're not careful. We weren't sure if it was water or urine everywhere, which was a gross thought. I would definitely come on another night where it'll be less busy and cleaner. In the past, I've always had a good experience of being able to get a pool table within 30 minutes or so, even on a busy night, but this time wasn't the best experience. read more

If you like to play a little stick now and then, or maybe you're even good enough to be an extra in the next iteration of The Hustler/Color of Money, then Sharks is for you. LOTS of tables cover a huge square footage, both big tables (9') that you can rent by the hour (like $7 for an hour) or 7' tables that go for a buck a game - and yes they have a change machine. Be forewarned that league nights will eat up most of the tables, so check their website for deets on league or event schedules. If you're coming for the food, then it's nothing special, but they have put *some* thought into their menu. Loaded Mushrooms are definitely that, and like many items on the menu, they're battered and deep-fried (which is not a bad thing). Drink specials pepper the menu and calendar, with some unique offerings like the Monday Mule, which somehow makes Fireball Whiskey and other Mule-ish ingredients go together. Happy Hour is pretty much daily and always has a theme or a great value. But the reason for Sharks is games and adult leisure, so pool, a limited selection of arcade games, and a kickbutt darts layout offer up exactly the core business model. this place is near and dear to my heart solely for the fact that my late friend Dawn took me to this place when I just moved up here in '14. This was before the construction of the eyesore of the clinic in front of Shark's of course, and man...did I have fun. We sat up at the bar and had conversations with anybody and everyone. The drinks were fantastic and the service was impeccable. Of course, I always sit at the bar to get the best service and I wasn't disappointed at all in the slightest. I have been here a few times for lunch. Today went to have burgers specials but opted for the enchiladas stack which was tasty and plentiful but not really real enchilada but for what it was it wasn't to bad. I was tired of burgers and I think my co-workers looks liked there burgers but was overcharged on one. But they can write there own review. I would recommend the pork tenderloin and fries it was delicious and tenderloin was hand cut. My other colleagues ordered pizza and was quite tasty also. So I will come back and try the pizza and write about it read more

I've visited this place a couple of times and haven't had much to say about them. The service is fine can't really complain, the wings are great, especially the buffalo wings the drinks are mediocre. My last visit to this place was a little different, the bartender was great per usual, and our waitress was great as well and very attentive and sweet! The wings were great and overall my groups game night was a success, until the main manager made an appearance. The manager was very rude, his comments were very unwarranted and prejudice. His actions followed suit and were very prejudice. It's spacious so when I play on week days it's not crowded. I'm on my way to becoming a regular, that's how much I like playing pool there. Met a few friends at Sharks to play pool last Friday night and it was quite fun. We were with a good group of people that were a table with a server and the evening was great. We ordered a few pitchers of beer and our server, although young, was very attentive and good at her job. I haven't ever had food here but saw many people eating and things looked good. I would definitely go back because the drinks weren't very expensive and they had various bar games (darts, billiards, poker tables and video games). My wife had a reunion there last night and there was food catered by them. Nothing to write home about. A little bland but ok. I was very surprised that I was charged Per refill on my coke because there policy is that you get one free refill if you order an entree. We all know the markup on soda is astronomical as it but to apply that rule on a reserved catered party. How cheap. Have to remember that rule for next year if they negotiate a contract. I worked there for 2 days. When I was interviewed I told him I could not work on Sunday he told me it was fine in fact I still have the messages. I called back and talked to a man named author and he was so rude to me on the phone and called me a bum because I wanted my pay check that I still haven't received and he told me I wasn't speaking to him like a adult but he asked me the same question over and over again and was twisting up my words and telling me to calm down when I was only asking a question. He told me I had a no call no show but never explained that to me in fact I tried to call and no one would tell me why I wasn't no longer in the schedule. I did not have a good experience working here. The professionalism def needs some work. Sorry but I'm day 2 training you can't expect me to know all the managers and who to listen to and who not to listen to. I was listening to my trainer who is also a manager and he told me on the phone that I wasn't trusting him and I know exactly what he's talking about I asked to go out side to have a cig and he said I could but she told me that I have to ask her before I go outside she even questioned me while I was outside if I asked to be out there and I did ask but you can't expect someone on their second day to understand everything and know who to ask and who not to ask when my trainer is telling me to only listen to her. Then when I'm wondering when I go back in he tells me I was a no call no show when I wasn't at all. Went to the bar omg my server was horrible at the menu. She said the menu is online, looked online I wanted country fried steak dipper served with mash potatoes and white gravy. First order she brought out deep fried chicken strips with a garlic dipping sause. That's not what I ordered but she was soo confused of what I was ordering and couldn't change the order??? What? You cant just have them make me what I want? My spouse doesn't like it when I speak up when it comes to my order so I let him talked it out... Second order came out I got sliders with chicken tender with mash potatoes sandwich? I told my server I dont want a sandwich before putting in my order the first time and I even showered her the menu online but she didnt even try to look at what i was showing her... order came out I was soo upset!
