If I could give Sharp's Roasthouse 10 stars, I would! We were a party of 12 and were seated almost immediately. Our server, Sam, was outstanding--friendly, personable, attentive, and made us feel like regulars. The food was incredible. The Prime Rib Dip was the best I've ever had, the portions were huge, the drinks were perfect, and the prices were much lower than the surrounding restaurants. The fact that this is a family-owned restaurant makes it even better. We probably won't be back since we're just passing through Seattle, but if you're staying near the airport, do yourself a favor and eat here. Really convenient location. If you fly into SeaTac, you can literally walk out the terminal and go to it! I had the pulled brisket mac and cheese. They're known for their smoked meats as well as their house made pasta. And both were excellent. My girlfriend had a salad that was also great. They've also got a really nice cocktail menu as well as a good beer list featuring many local beers. The place does a good amount of business and although it was busy the wait was minimal. We can not say enough about our experience at Sharps! We chose it on a whim and it did not disappoint! Our server Gavin was the main reason why we had such a great experience. He guided us through some great drink choices like the papaya mule, which my wife said was the best mule she's ever had. The bbq platter was a perfect choice for our appetite, with the happy hour Mac n cheese added for good measure. The chicken was some of the best we've had, as well as the bbq beans and onion rings. But the Mac n cheese, though... their sourdough pasta was on point! If you go, don't leave without the cornbread! Crazy good! Food was good, service was great but after you get your bill, and when you have to sign your c.c. bill you will see a "5% cooks fee", before your total and before you add your tip on your bill that will not show on your receipt. We made reservations at this restaurant as it was close to our hotel, the food looked good and it was well rated. We had reservations for 630pm. We arrived about 15 minutes early. There was quite a line waiting out front as well as inside by the host stand. We were seated promptly when we gave our reservation information, the gentleman who seated us was very courteous, pointed out the few steps up to the other area of the restaurant. Our waitress, Della, came over quickly with menus and left to get us water and the complimentary corn bread. She took our drink orders upon her return as well as asking if we wanted any appetizers. The restaurant was large with alot of seating spaces and a huge bar area. It was also decorated with interesting wallpaper and accents. Our waitress was so friendly and excellent at her job. No table felt forgotten even with how busy it was. She was attentive and quick to address any needs. She is an excellent example of a 4-diamond server. Went to Sharps on a Friday night, around 7:30pm. Even though it was busy, we were able to be seated right away. The service here is friendly but we did have to ask our server for water refills so not the most attentive. The food here is excellent and pretty reasonable. The complimentary cornbread is delicious and moist. We ordered the Roasting Works BBQ Platter to share among the two of us. All of the meats were cooked perfectly and flavorful, but my favorite were the ribs. Fall off the bone tender. The platter was served with two BBQ sauces: a Kansas City and North Carolina. We preferred the KC sauce as the NC one was a tad too tangy. The portion was large enough that we had leftovers. I can't wait to come back and try some other menu items. The parking lot can be kind of busy with restaurant patrons and also customers of the hotel. From the outside, I thought Sharps would be small but it's actually pretty deep. There's a big range of American food from BBQ to salads to burgers. I got the ribs and they were so tender and delicious. Hi there, Just wanted to share a little highlight from our trip! My wife and I kicked off our Alaskan cruise adventure a little early by flying into Seattle a day ahead of schedule. We were so excited to get things started! We settled into the Hilton Spark for our first night, which was perfectly comfortable after a day of travel. Since we were pretty wiped out, we decided to find somewhere close by for dinner. A quick peek at Yelp pointed us towards Sharps Roadhouse - and what a fantastic find it turned out to be! It was just a short, pleasant stroll from the hotel, maybe a couple of blocks. As we got closer, the most delicious aromas started making our tummies rumble, really building our anticipation! Stepping inside, we were immediately charmed by the cozy, inviting decor - it felt so warm and welcoming. But the real star of the show was our waiter, Roman! Honestly, he made the entire evening. He had such a wonderfully genuine personality and was an absolute pleasure to chat with. Roman was incredibly polite, super attentive, and had us laughing with his great sense of humor. He truly elevated our dining experience! And the food? Oh my goodness, it was absolutely spectacular! We each picked an entrée, and both were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Sharp's doesn't play around. This isn't one of those spots where "homemade" means they opened a bag in the back. No--these folks have a pasta engine (yes, a legit pasta machine that sounds like it could power a race car), they roast their meats right there, and basically craft everything from scratch like culinary superheroes. I went for the salmon burger with fries, and let me tell you--this thing wasn't just a meal, it was an experience. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired with fries that demanded a dunk in their housemade ranch (so good I considered drinking it straight--don't judge me). My guy had the burger, and Sharp's grinds their beef in-house. You can taste the difference--fresh, juicy, like the cow just graduated college and turned professional in burger greatness. Between the pasta engine cranking out scratch-made noodles, the roasts perfuming the air, and the fact that every single bite screams "real food, made right," Sharp's is one of those places you plan to go back to before you've even left. My husband and I attended a conference near the airport in Seattle last week. Sharps Roasthouse was a close restaurant to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. We are locals, but only once a year do we actually stay in a hotel in this area. The food was above average, but not the best ever. I had brisket and my husband had ribs. Both were served quickly and were very good. The brisket was a bit fatty which is the only reason I didn't give it a five star rating, but that said, it was very tasty. The BBQ beans were a little spicy for my taste, but hubby loved them. The onion rings were HUGE, and I did not like them at all. Flavor was adequate at best, but just much to thick and hard to eat. Definitely not a finger food! The ribs were also very good and plenty of them. My husband can EAT but couldn't finish them all! I also ordered a gimmicky drink with a lighted cube in it that was cute, but was way too sweet for me. Won't make that mistake again, but it was a fun thing! Service was way above average with our waiter being very attentive but not overbearing and our meal was served quickly. The restaurant itself is a bit loud, but its a road house, not a steak house! Visiting from Baltimore, and staying at a nearby hotel, five of us were in for a tasty treat as recommended by our hotel concierge (with free shuttle ride to Sharps). Diana was our server, and she was fantastic. Didn't bat an eye when she arrived to take our order and three of us were mid airline check in on separate devices. The Scratch Margarita, craft beers, Pulled Brisket Street Tacos, Smoked Pulled Brisket Mac and Cheese, and Chicken Caprese Baguette (rec from Diana) were all DLicious and made for leftovers. We recommended this place to three others who were traveling with us, and they went for dinner the same day, reporting back that they had amazing food as well. Met up with my friend and we both enjoyed our meals! I ordered the half pound prime rib and a strawberry lemonade. The glass is very tall but fun, and no refills so you know it was good. The prime rib was cooked terrific though I haven't had prime rib in awhile so i forgot about the fat, and I was a bit hungry, so I would order the larger portions or an app or something if you're extra hungry. The complimentary cornbread was yummy to start off! The sides were mashed potato's (very good) and loved the au jus dip. The charred broccoli left a bit to be desired, but not bad. Also able to talk the kitchen into just a few toasted marshmallows vs the whole brownie dessert - SO delicious, per usual with toasted marshmallows. Parking will get ya crazy. They make their own ranch dressing onsite, rather than the usual Hidden Valley mix, which even many fine restaurants often use. Really good and reasonably priced. A highlight of our vacation! We are in town after a 7 night cruise to Alaska, staying 2 extra nights in Seatac area. After 7 nights of cruise food, we were ready to try something new and local. Sharp's was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and highly rated, so I figured we would give it a shot. We arrived at the restaurant to a full parking lot with people standing outside. However, when we went in, the wonderful hostess informed us there was no wait. The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. Throughout the whole meal, Sam was so attentive and chatting with us about the restaurant and dessert options. I truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there. Stopped in on a Saturday during Happy Hour for an early dinner, the restaurant was busy but service was not delayed so we were seated immediately. Since it was everyone's first time we browsed the menu for a while and asked questions, our waitress was very patient and willing to spend time giving suggestions. We settled on a Caesar salad with crispy chicken, 7.5/10 Peppered fried chicken sandwich, 6/10, chicken was heavily breaded so 1/3 of the sandwich was fried breading and bun. Smoked BBQ brisket sandwich, 6/10, brisket didn't have much flavor - the slaw, aioli, caramelized onions and things gave it something but also made the bun soggy and very messy to eat so ended up eating it with a knife and fork. The best thing I had was the fresh cut fries and a cocktail Huckleberry Bramble 9/10 I would say if you're waiting to head to the airport the bar is worth stopping in for a drink but unfortunately the search for solid BBQ in seattle continues. read more

Sharps is a great place, good food and lively atmosphere. I usually get the BBQ platter and if you go in the early evening they start you with complementary honey cornbread served in a cast iron pan. And it's so delicious and not on the menu, a perfect indicator of what's to come. The BBQ platter is a sample of everything they do well and is enough for 2 to share and even have leftovers. My cousin and his wife came to take me out to dinner while I was in town for work & brought me here since it was down the street from my hotel. It was busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. The service was okay but it was a full house & they did pretty good. The complimentary cornbread as an appetizer is amazing. I'm a bit disappointed in their mixed drinks since it did take a few to even catch a buzz, but we came to eat so that gets a pass. We had the steak, chicken & I ordered the northwest applewood smoked salmon pasta. OMG! Let me tell you that this is probably the most delicious pasta dish I have ever had! The salmon was not only cooked well, but the pasta was literally melt in your mouth smooth! I believe they make their own pasta in-house- which explains why it's so yummy! The sauce was absolutely amazing! We also ended up having dessert (cookie over ice cream) & that was just as good. Would definitely come back here again to try some of their other dishes!
