I just want to say, I've been giving out a lot of 3 star ratings lately, with many different justifications, but the standard is the same. This place is passable but has particular issues. In this case, their sheer drop in quality from a relatively 5-star experience to a 2-star is how they ended up here. One thing that particularly irks me is when staff do not know their own menu. Everytime I call here I've gotten different responses and their posted menu doesn't match with what's in store, so soon after opening. To make it simple, they've got the essential shawarma sandwiches or plates + fried chicken. That'll save you a headache. They're nice people though. I'll get to that a bit more. As for the food, on our first visit we thought we'd found the Shawarma spot. Moist meats, good quality ingredient and besides a slight mix up nothing to really complain about. On subsequent visits, that all unraveled; order confusion, rotten salads (which they replaced with a slightly less dead one) and dry meat which returned with the fury of the DFW halal scene. Disappointing to see this place fall in such a short time. Well, after reading all that this isn't the most inspiring recommendation, but I'd still ask you try this place out in hopes you experience what I did that first time. Decided to try this new place out, went around 2pm. Took 1 hour to receive my chicken shawarma wrap. It's very simple to make, slice the chicken from the already cooking skewer into a wrap, add sauce and pickle. Yet we sat in this restaurant for an hour for 2 wraps, while people kept coming in and picking up to go orders. The staff looked confused and couldn't prioritize correctly. Easily confused by their ticket system and they kept repeating ticket numbers back and forth and running from the back to the front. ALSO... Covid breeding ground. Open fountain drinks and cups laying out for anyone to grab and use. 90% of the people walking in were not wearing masks, and they were not told to put one on. Employees weren't wearing masks (the cook) and the front staff kept removing theirs or half wearing it. Tables super close together. About the food: the wrap wasn't warm and a little on the cold side. The bread was very tough and the shawarma had an odd flavor almost similar to cinnamon that over powered the wrap. I ordered a side of baba ganoush and it came just in a little container. I asked the staff up front if this came with anything, and they said no. I said well, how am I supposed to eat this? She said well would you like some bread? She gave me two pieces of the same bread used for the wrap which was tough and cold. read more

I went again today because I enjoyed my beef shawarma. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. I go in and stand there for a while as the girl behind the corner did everything but greet me. She finally stopped what she was doing and just stared at me, then finally asked if she could help me. I ordered a gyro sandwich and waffle fries because reviews said those fries were good. They were out of the waffle fries. Fine. I just ordered the gyro then, which came to almost $10. Pricey, yes, but for a good, filling gyro, I don't mind. I get my food, go buy fries at another nearby restaurant, get home and open up my gyro to see TWO thin strips of gyro meat on top of a thick bed of lettuce, onions, sauce and pita. Really?!? Two thin slices of meat for 10 bucks??? Utterly ridiculous. I took a bite, thinking I was overreacting, but no - it literally tasted like I was eating a Salad Sandwich. The good thing about this place is that they stick to basics in their chicken shawarma (Garlic sauce and pickles) and don't add lettuce or tomatoes like many weird places. The chicken tastes good and the sandwich is not dry but I would recommend putting less garlic sauce in the sandwich ( you already provide it as a dip on the side). Y'all this place has authentic Shawarma that got me hyped up. As an Arab myself I'm super critical of Shawarma spots but I really liked this place. I tried both the chicken and beef shawarma along with their gyro. I'd highly recommend the chicken and/or beef shawarma. It's deliciously roasted and marinated. The bread they use is thin and authentic unlike other shawarma joints I've been to. The beef shawarma was very yummy with the tahini sauce. They also have really good waffle fries that they season which I was a big fan of. Overall, good experience and a very chill restaurant. My beef shawarma was nothing like the one online....and the hummus was no where close to authentic hummus. It lacked flavor and was very thick. The coleslaw served with the meal tasted old and the chicken shawarma was ok but could be better. The pickles, fries, fried chicken, Falafel and chicken tenders were good is why I gave them three stars. They seemed like a very hip and authentic place. I visited Shawarma Factory for the first time today after I heard from a friend about it, who also set the expectations quite high. Many places claim they sell shawarma, but none in the metroplex has got it done right. Well, after my visit today, I can finally say that Shawarma Factory is the first place in the metroplex that sells an authentic shawarma with garlic mayonnaise as close as it is served in the Arab region. I ordered a double chicken shawarma and a Zinger sandwich. Both taste excellent and I highly recommend trying them. The food is delicious here but the service is very poor today. The employees are different than the first time I came. The young lady was playing on her phone while I was trying to order. And the young man in the kitchen was chatting almost nonstop with the person in the front. There is NO sense of urgency or speed of service. It took 25 minutes to get a shwarma and rice plate and 3 piece of fried chicken. It's clear to me that The kitchen staff has no kitchen training. They waited until 3 previous orders were complete and pushed out before they dropped the chicken in the fryer. Then after the food for the first order was plated it sat on the expo shelf getting cold while they SLOWLY prepared the second order Instead of talking and laughing maybe they should be trained in how to organize, prepare and deliver food orders! Our dine in experience was underwhelming. The restaurant was cold and uncomfortable for starters. We went in with two adults and two small children. The employee taking orders got ours wrong, charged us for an additional sandwich and made no attempt to make it right, just a half hearted apology. My salad was fresh, the chicken was ok (a little dry but hints of good flavor) and the gyro meat was bland. I wouldn't order it again. We gave this place way too many chances but this is beyond ridiculous. Last time we were here they forgot to give us 2 pieces out of the 8 piece of chicken that was ordered. This was February of 2022. I called at that time and they were apologetic and put our name down for "free food" next time we come in. Today, we happen to be in the area again (live in Frisco) and decided to give this place another try (not even mentioning free food from 5 months ago mistake). I asked for EXTRA Garlic sauces and the lady (same lady from February) proceeded to tell me she put many in the tightly closed bag. We drive 40mins to Frisco and GUESS WHAT? No garlic sauces. NONE. I'm sorry but this chicken cannot be eaten without the only thing that makes it worthwhile, if there's no sauce the chicken is completely bland. Called them up right now and she's again swearing she put 3 sauces in the bag- but lady, listen, there's nothing. She kept "swearing" instead of being apologetic. And her way of making things right is "when you come back we will make it right"!?? That's what she said last time!! 5 months later and no changes. What kind of customer service is this?
