I like everything on Jason's Deli menu, but what I really enjoy is the salad bar. It's difficult to find any restaurant in the Dallas area who has a salad bar these days and the one at Jason's is huge! I can easily load up and have enough leftover for the next day. I also love the club sandwiches, soups, and sides selection. However, the corned beef sandwiches are hit or miss and can be on the dry side more times than not, which is why I dinged them a star. Good customer service is a wonderful way to start your meal order. Sweet ice tea was good & a choice for all. The FREE soft serve ice cream is always a great treat! Today has to be the worst experience at Jason's Deli. The salad bar was a complete disaster as there was no lettuce and other items were out. The cornbread roll was from yesterday and not fresh. We enjoy coming here because it's close, convenient and my daughter enjoys their sandwiches and soup combo. I do enjoy their salad bar because I can load up and their baked potato is on point. I have ordered from Jasons at least 5 times since it opened. Every time something is not right, from food left off the order to being left sitting in the pickup spots ( I have a serious back issue). This last time my order was cancelled before I got to the store. I received no message back that the accepted order had been cancelled. The manager was busy and all he could say was "sorry". The app is a struggle every time I use it. I manage many other online apps just fine. I have concluded and one manager agreed with me, that the app is the problem. I'm done. read more

Enjoyed my first trip during their opening week! It seems now that the staff is a lot younger and less experienced. Not that young is the problem, but the polish and extra care that the staff took to make sure to get my order correct the first time was really appreciated. My girlfriend and I just finished our dinner here, and I have to say it wasn't as clean, as fast, or detail oriented. The Reuben sandwich I had was loaded with meat, but it was less of a "stack" of corned beef as it should be and more just all over the plate. My biggest problem was that I felt like I had to repeat my order 2-3 times. I just got a manager's special with a side salad, it is the first thing on the menu. I love Jason's Deli when they are running top notch, but next time we come back I hope the cleanliness, attention to detail, and service are worked out. This place is a godsend for our area in desperate need of some healthier food options. We were so happy to see it going in and being built. I can't help but feel a little let down as it seems like "just another location", and not the newest store on the block. Don't go to the Richardson, TX location and expect to be served quickly through the drive in. Terrible service. This has happened to me now at least 3 times and I'm through with them. I waited in line after I ordered for between 20-25 minutes and there were still 2 to three cars ahead of me. I finally had to pull out of line and leave as I had to get back to work. This is ridiculous, if there are large orders, then have that large order car pull up so that you can quickly serve your next car. Each car that pulled up to the window was still waiting at least 5 more minutes for their order, should have been ready immediately when pulling to the window! read more

I have been twice and the service was slow the first time but abysmal the second time. On the last visit I ordered on line and was given a 7:26 pm pickup time. I walked in at 7:24 and stood watching the "kids" talk and look at computers for a good 4 minutes. Several looked at me but no one asked if they could help me. At last a young man asked and I told him I was picking up an on line order. I paid and in the waiting area and nothing happened. More talking and goofing off by some staff. At 7:37 I got the attention of a woman I presume was the manager. I told her who I was and had been waiting quite a while. She looked around and found my order that had been sitting on a rack behind the counter for I don't know how long. there were 11 people eating a the time. SLOW. Beyond slow. Every time we go even when we order online. We like the food but at this point tonight it's been aver 30 minutes waiting on 2 sandwiches and soup to go. I think closer to 45 now. I just text my husband who is trying to wait patiently to get a refund and leave And go through whataburger drive thru. You know it's slow when you decide whataburger will be quicker.
