I truly enjoy eating their chicken strips. They make them fresh to order and they are delicious. The best around actually. I actually like getting their combo that includes banana fosters French toast and I substitute the eggs and sausage for a chicken strip. It also comes with fried green tomatoes. Are all good choices. Opted for the new Orleans skillet this visit, and it was pretty good. It looked good, tasted good, and only had to add a small amount of hot sauce and pepper. Opted for a biscuit and gravy instead of a muffin or toast. The country gravy had a touch too much flour in it. Otherwise, it was solid. Our waitress Maritza was great. Staff all around were super busy but attentive and super polite. As far as drinks go, they've got a good variety available, standard fountain drinks, iced tea, coffee, etc... On a mission to try all the Huckleberry's. Today we visited Stockton off 8 Mile for breakfast. Here's what we ordered: Started with Bloody Mary; latte, coffees, fried green tomatoes and French fries for appetizers. Chicken salad, ribeye and eggs, banana French toast, eggs Benedict. The chicken salad was exactly what it was. Serving size was good and it came with a slice of toast. The eggs Benedict was ordered with no hollandaise sauce but arrived with a ton of sauce. The rib eye steak was super thin and ordered medium rare but came out medium well. The banana french toast came out slathered with butter and maple syrup. Last we ended with beignets with cream, apples, blueberry's and strawberry toppings. Food didn't come as ordered. I think the server wasn't paying attention and that's why the hollandaise sauce and ribeye came out wrong and well done. I couldn't even get a water refill. This is our forth Huckleberry I've tried and this might be the worse one with service and food not par. read more

Talk about some large fulfilling portions. I cannot wait to return back to try some of their other options from their menu as they all seemed as though they would be so delicious to devour. This visit I had the country fried steak with potatoes and a housemaid biscuit. Boy oh boy! Let me tell you I left a happy camper. Pretty neat to be able to have your drink in a mason jar. This location is fairly new to the area so of course lots of traffic coming in and out. We were informed that the wait time would be about 30 or 35 minutes but it was actually shorter than what we were informed. Once seated though it did take a while to Have our drink orders taken so once our waitress return to take our drink order we also ordered our meals to illuminate having to wait even longer. My season fries were cold , So i requested for anther one that was fresh and still failed to satisfy me I got regular fries instead of my season fries which I addressed our server about this issue and she gave me a ramekin of seasoning which was only enough to season ONE FRY .Its was giving ghetto ! To top it off our food was cold which I addressed to management and they comp our fries like they swear we were trying to get free food . What happen to the customer is always right .If I can give this location NO STARS I WOULD !
