Amount of food was good. It was a bit pricey. I did like the iced tea. Potatoes probably needed a bit more seasoning or something but overall it was ok. Service at front desk took awhile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the ambiance was actually pretty chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Louisiana Catfish (Bayou Style) - This one hit the spot! Perfectly fried catfish with Southern-style seasoning. Crispy outside, tender and flaky inside. Crab Cake Benedict - Poached eggs over golden crab cakes, creamy hollandaise, and crispy hash browns on the side. The crab cakes had a stronger seafood flavor than I prefer. Not quite my type of dish

The servers are very attentive & pleasant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that the tables and booths have a sense of privacy between each.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They try to give you the southern bayou feel with crickets chirping in the background[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I always go for a classic dish - their country fried steak is a shining example of elevated comfort food. It's generously portioned, and smothered in rich, creamy gravy--it makes a bold promise of Southern satisfaction, and it delivers. The steak itself is tender and well-seasoned, encased in a crisp, perfectly fried breading that holds its texture without becoming greasy or overwhelming. The peppered country gravy is a highlight--velvety, flavorful, and served in just the right amount to complement rather than drown the dish. You have the option to pair your country fried steak with country-style potatoes or hash browns. Whether you're a longtime fan of the dish or a newcomer to this Southern classic, this rendition is worth the visit. I thoroughly enjoyed their homemade blueberry muffin! It comes out nice & warm. It was a perfectly golden-brown dome with a delicate sugar-crusted top. The texture was just right and it was served with a pat of butter on the side. I will continue visiting this establishment.

It has been many years since I have been to a Huckleberrys... so when I seen one on my way to the mountains I gladly stopped and grabbed breakfast. They have a decent menu with lots of choices a few vegan and vegetarian choices as well. Super easy to find right off the highway in a shopping center. It was a Sunday and holiday to boot all the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and serve people that was refreshing. I was eating alone enjoying the vibe... I ordered the Garden Skillet which was a great choice it came with spinach, peppers potatoes onions and monterey cheese with a biscuit it was ever so slightly spicy and of course they have a few hot sauces right on the table next to the ketchup, nice touch! My experience was very good for a chain restaurant I sure enjoyed it!

A fantastic first visit! I was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked in--exceptional service and delicious food all around. The New Orleans-inspired menu is inventive and full of surprises, blending tradition with a unique twist. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The staff were warm and attentive, making the experience even better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is vibrant, and the decor is effortlessly cool--this place has soul.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Manager needs to do quality control. Ordered an omelette with bacon, sausage and spinach.. What I got was FAT, sausage and spinach. I understand that bacon has fat but it was all fat and wouldn't break down. Do they save that part for DoorDash orders? I would have sent it back if I was in person. After a few bites I just started spitting it out. Disgusting! Very very disappointed!

The waiting time was so long. Some people started walking out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables were dirty we wanted to clean some tables so we could sit down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And they were under staff.9.26.25 the food was overpriced I got the chicken tenders were salty, fries were soggy. my fiancé got the waffles and chicken. He did not like had a family member out of town. He did not like his food either.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]As we first walked in it was around 2 o clock, it was not packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was really fast and the server was so nice. I ordered the eggs and toast which was good as it's a classic. One of my friend ordered rib eye steak which did not taste like a steak. She said it tasted as if it was put in an air fryer and there was no seasoning. My other friend ordered chicken gumbo and she said it tasted like dog food and that there was mystery meat in there. Overall, we really did not enjoy the food.

The wait is horrible. Waited over 30 minutes just for our order to be taken. Our server was rude and didn't even check in on us, when we asked for basic things such as water and boxes we were ignored and forgotten about. Food was bland and lacked flavor. I'm very disappointed in the beignets, they had absolutely no flavor and tasted like soggy airy dough with no sweetness not even the sauce could help it. The waffle was bland and soggy I even felt sick after eating... I will not be returning! -0/10

It was so good. My first time being there. Fast service. Delicious food. Try the homemade biscuits or the Bloody Mary.

    CA California Benedict (no Avocado/balsamic)

First off I'll start by saying I have trouble going out and to restaurants due to disability but my friend from out of town really wanted to meet up. She loves Huckleberry's and I'd been to the one in Pismo years ago. It was conveniently located with accessible parking, though we did also have to help another disabled person with the door. Besides the door, everything was great. I specifically wanted to recognize Ashley for being a kind, attentive server. Service was quick and she was so friendly and accommodated my requests accurately. My CA Benedict (I ordered without avocado or balsamic, I had asked if they still had the "fried green tomato Benedict" I had before and she said she could make it that way) was tasty and had a generous portion of potatoes I took home for later. My friend enjoyed her chicken and waffles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The booths and lower lighting (but not dark) with large windows make it a nice cozy spot and it's easy to have a conversation there, I'd go so far as to call it sensory-friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tree decor and light sound effects are cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unlike many Stockton restaurants, she didn't rush us out (granted it was a weekday late morning) and was patient with us which I found really refreshing, some kindness in difficult times. I'll be back hopefully as they had lots of tasty menu items, though I do wish they had some gluten free substitutes for bread products so more people can eat here.

They have plenty of seating for small to large parties and even have seats up at the bar. It's got a small town cafe feel to it and I love it. I usually get the BLT sandwich with a side of fruit an an iced tea. Their BLT has to be my favorite because they load it up with bacon! I can't stand when you get a BLT and it lacks bacon, that surely is not the case here. My best friend loves to get their over medium eggs; the yolks are flawless, hash brown with cheese and toast. My other friend is a huge fan of their banana nut bread, it's a delectable breakfast item that feels more like a dessert and is dangerously addictive. I can't say enough positive things about this establishment, I will for sure be back again and again when in the area. There are plenty of other options. Please give them a visit and let them know what you think!

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.

Aaliyah greeted us as soon as we walked in and directed us towards our table. Coincidentally, she was also our server. It was like we knew her for years. Aaliyah was friendly and attentive. We started with the mimosa flights. We couldn't decide on flavors, however, Aaliyah picked a variety of flavors for us, so we were covered. The food came out hot! I had the meat lover skillet with eggs over-easy. The eggs were cooked perfect. The warm yolk added to the flavorful meat and smothered potatoes. René had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and tender. Next time we'll ask for a side of sauce because it's so good that we needed more than provided, at least for us. One thing we noticed was that every customer was happy. Maybe the other customers were regulars there but this was our first time and we were treated like we were regulars. I think it just says something about the attention to customer service. Toward the end of our visit, "B" one of Sheila's daughters, came out to check on us. The sandwich was thick with the juiciest chicken. I loved the garlic fries. They were super garlicky with a crispy cheese on top. The fries are thin and crinkle cut. They were the perfect mix of crispy yet juicy. One thing to note, if you order for pickup, make sure to arrive promptly because the food can get pretty soggy otherwise. The side sauce was pretty good too. I wish there was an online substitution option though because I'd prefer something like ranch instead. This spot's prices are a touch higher compared to restaurants in the area but the quality and portions really justify it. The employees are incredibly kind. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag. The small details like this really make the experience so much better. It is especially reassuring to see how sanitary they are here too. Despite looking a bit small from the outside, it it quite spacious and modern inside. It has that modern hipster restaurant feel. On a warm day, it would be nice to sit under their covered patio. I will be returning to try more of their menu!
