Lots of windows in their dining room.

    - TO SIP AT THE MOTHER SHIP - This one's the original Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters cafe. It's one of their best ones. Friendly service. Very cool atmosphere. Nice little intensely-colored dining room off to the side. Had a great egg sandwich and a cappuccino. - Phil

I recently stopped for the first time on my way to Vermont. It's more of a takeout spot. I had a black cold brew and a pecan sticky bun. The pecan sticky bun had good texture and was tasty. The cold brew, which was a house blend, was about average. On food and drink, I'd rate Shelburne Falls a 3.5, but since service was friendly, I'll round up to 4 Stars.

Had a chocolate cossant, cinnamon bun, and raspberry coconut smoothie (best part). This place is a gem. Slightly pricy but well worth it!

We walked in and it looked chaotic but found out it's counter service where you order and pay at the counter and then find a seat and your food will be delivered wrapped to go. The seats free up frequently so we had no problem finding a table eventually (within minutes). We all decided what we wanted and I went up and ordered the food. If you are in a group, I highly recommend doing this so you can save your table. My friend and I had the Hammie Sammie, delicious and they are not cheap with the delicious ham. It was perfect! My other friend had the smash burger which she said was yummy too. Don't miss the fries! Generous amount served in a greasy paper bag and scrumptious like fresh cut fries should be. You can also get them seasoned with garlic and parm if you wish. The food came quickly and hot. The place seems like it's run like a well oiled machine. People would get up and a smiling server would appear and quickly clean the table for the next customer. Highly recommend!

They serve it in to go wrapping and offer packets of condiments. I ordered the French Dip and an order of French fries. $16 + $8 so it's essential $25 for lunch. The sandwich contained a bit less beef than I would have expected for the price, as you can see in the photo. It came with a pint container of au jus for dipping. The sandwich was a bit greasy and fatty, not really a bad thing for umami, but a tad more greasy than I would have liked. The roll held up to the at jus. Excellent! The sandwich was dying for seasoning along with the au jus . Salt and pepper at minimum. It made a big difference. It was ok but bland. The French fries were a very large portion served in a paper bag ala Five Guys. You can tell they are trying to produce a good product. Sadly the fries had ZERO crisp and were limp and borderline soggy. I think they need to double fry if they continue to use the same cooking method. An almost good, but a miss. Here's my biggest issue. The menu is not conducive to eating solo. I tossed well over half of my fries, wasting food and money. They really should consider offering a side portion of fries with sandwiches that is half the current size at a reduced cost. It was enough of an issue to stop me from returning unless I go with other folks. I think they are trying. Reviews are good. Normally I'd come again and try something else. A few days ago they posted a photo of a chicken parm special sandwich that had looked phenomenal. But unless they adjust their menu to make portion choices more conducive for solo consumers, I won't return.

D'Angelos is walking distance from several gas stations and we decided to enter. The place is clean and welcoming, and so are the rest rooms. That makes a good first impression. Service was superb, a friendly attendant by the register and a nice gentleman who offered us the take out menu for whenever we're traveling through there again. D'Angelos makes a good business in the online ordering sphere. They kept on coming nonstop when we were there. As well, several other people walked in for sit down eating, mostly a younger clientele, apparently from several of the colleges nearby. We had two good subs, a teriyaki chicken and a southwest chicken. Both superb. A good choice on our travels.

I opted for the thanksgiving meal sandwich without the mayo in a pita pocket. Although the cranberry sauce was cold, the turkey and stuffing were both warm and It came with a warm gravy on the side which was the perfect addition to the sandwich. My hubby got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the sauce was perfect with the grilled veggies! It reminded me of a high end Subway or Blimpie with casual seating and friendly staff. I wish they had this chain closer to NY-- It would definitely be on my list as a regular stop.

We were there this past Thursday and I ordered their spinach, mushroom and chevre pizza. Not only was it lovely to look at, but it was very delicious. It was so delightful I ordered 3 on Sunday, half baked to take to a gathering on Monday. When I picked them up, I peeked inside a box. I was flabbergasted. It looked nothing like my Thu pizza. I looked at all 3, they were disappointing. They are small, individual size, no bubbly chevre, they are flat, little texture indicating yummyness. The Farm Table isn't always consistent so I shouldn't be surprised, but I truly am disappointed. I hope people at our gathering enjoy them. I am taking an herbed chevre to place on the pizza before warming. I pray all goes well.

Our server was friendly and pleasant throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short in a few areas. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, even though our order was fairly simple--a salad with salmon and an omelet. When our silverware arrived, it was greasy and had to be sent back. The biggest disappointment was the salmon, which was significantly overcooked and very chewy. The salmon was okay once doused in dressing. The omelet was underwhelming. After tip brunch was around $70. Given the beautiful setting and friendly service, I had high expectations. I'm hoping this was just an off day, as the restaurant certainly has a lot of potential.
