Yesterday I went to get my oil changed, and my friend had mentioned my tire looked low. While I was…read morewaiting, Ian told me my tires should be rotated. I had forgotten about the low tire at this point, but my friend reminded me, so I agreed to rotating my tires. Moments later, Ian showed me that there was a huge screw lodged in my tire! He offered to bring it next door real quick to get plugged - I thanked him and accepted the offer. Another few minutes go by, and Ian comes back with the huge screw, and my fixed tire, and put it back safely on my car. I drive back and forth from East Providence to Newport almost daily, my tire pressure light has been on since I got new tires last spring because I didn't want to pay another 700 bucks for all new tire pressure monitors (terrible, I know), so I have been unknowingly driving dangerously - I'm so thankful for my friend noticing and for Ian offering a rotate, and then to get my tire fixed for me real quick!! Talk about fantastic service!! Thank you so much to Ian for going above and beyond!!

Not happy! Have to take my car somewhere else to get RE-FIXED after paying them $2500 to fix my car…read moreand it took over a week. Would not recommend this place, as not only was the mechanic rude as HELL but now have to pay someone else to clean up his mess. Will not return needless to say! He messed up my serpentine belt and when it broke he wanted to drive my car several miles with no belt. I said no, I'll have it towed. He also said it had zero to do with the work they just completed, when in fact, they had JUST replaced that belt. (Tried to lie to me) They also replaced my transfer case and instead of looking at the salvaged one we put in to see that the bearings were bad, put it in with bad bearings and now have to get it rebuilt by someone else. (S&S wanted $1600 to rebuild the old one, which my mechanic says is outrageous especially if they had it taken apart already) been through hell and back just to get our car back and now it's honestly not much better than when we brought it to them. It's never good when your customer doesn't trust you, so much so that they need to get a second mechanic to check over your work. We might as well have flushed $400 for the transfer case because they put in an equally damaged one... And tried to tell me the noise it's making is "normal" since the part has been sitting for awhile.... Within two minutes of driving it, my mechanic knew it was a bearing. Totally not impressed with their "expertise"... And I will let people know.

Unfortunately, her first experience dealing with a flat tire was made even more stressful by her experience at Tire MD in Bristol, Rhode Island. After getting a flat tire, she made a 9:00 a.m. appointment and arrived as scheduled. Throughout the entire visit, no one ever explained how long the repair would take or asked if she had a deadline or needed the car back by a certain time. Instead, she waited for more than five hours before anyone even diagnosed the issue. The owner, Steve--who I later learned was the person working on her car--was rude and dismissive from the beginning. Rather than helping a young customer who was alone and already in a stressful situation, he treated her with a lack of professionalism and respect. She left the shop in tears after spending over five hours waiting for what should have been a straightforward repair. As a parent, it's upsetting to know that a young woman traveling alone was treated this way. I would not recommend Tire MD in Bristol, Rhode Island. Based on our experience, the service was unprofessional, communication was poor, and the pricing was excessive.
