We purchased a 175-year-old-fixer-upper. The first thing we needed to tackle was the plumbing. We had everything from broken sinks to broken and corroded pipes. We received six quotes, all with wildly different ranges. Several were only for part of the work. Travis came for a free home inspection and looked at everything so he could give us a number. He explained everything that needed to be done as well as things that didn't need to be done right away, and showed us things we needed to monitor. We moved forward on making the necessary repairs. He and his apprentice were here on time, they were both so nice - and they were here all day. They managed to get everything done even though they ran into problems. They did high quality work and explained what they had done in detail. They cleaned up afterwards and took all the trash with them. We recommend them! If you would like to seperate the tasks into invidivial projects, that is something that can be done as well." Assuming they didn't pull $4,316 out of thin air, the first two sentences seem either nonsensical or disingenuous -- and contradicted by the third sentence, which was what I had asked for in the first place!
