Sherman Buffet really understood the assignment juicy, fresh, and so satisfying. Pretty plates, full belly, no complaints.

    Metal in our Mongolian chicken

My family and I have been coming to Sherman's #2 for a while now and we are always happy with the service and the food however, after today we will not be going back. We ordered our usual but this time around we found ourselves dissapointed that we found metal in our Mongolian chicken. Yes, we have a child who could have ate this and things could've went horribly wrong. Unfortunatley my husband was the unlucky one who had to experience chewing down on metal in the middle of his meal. To Sherman's restaurant please be more careful and considerate when cooking for your customers.

I was in Stockton on Business the Other day!!! Then I got a little Hangry !!!LoL!!! So I Checked My Yelp App and Sherman's Buffet 2 popped up!!! I haven't been to a Buffet in years!!!! So I rolled to Sherman's Buffet! Found it easily enough and Parked right out front!! Parking is Plentiful as they are Located in a Stripmall. I rolled in to Sherman's Buffet 2 to find out it is not a Buffet at all!!! No Buffet at All!!!! It's a To - Go Fast Food Restaurant!!! And That's It!!!!! Ok !!! Time to Adapt and Overcome!!!! The place is Popular it's a Chinese Fast Food Restaurant!!!! They keep their Food Stocked up in their Steam Tables!!!! There was a Line Out the Door!!!! I jumped in to the Line and waited!! The Line Moved Slow !!! The People in Line were buying Multiple Meals!!!!! LoL Finally it was my turn !!! I ordered the Vegetable Chow Mein , Sweet and Sour Pork And Mongolian Chicken Meal I also Bought 5 Boneless Fried Chicken Thighs!!! Servers were Attentive and Fast !!!! Very Efficient!!!! Prices are Post Biden definitely effected by inflation!!! My food cost $18 Dollars!!! On the higher end of the Price Spectrum!!! I ate the food and it was Tasty!!!! I would go again if I was in the Area!!! I keep my Pimp Hand Strong!!!

The food is pretty good & they always have a long line. Today I ordered half chow mein (10/10) & fried rice (10/10) Mongolian chicken (8/10) , & sweet & sour chicken(8/10) with a side of salt & pepper shrimp ( 4/10)

Fried chicken, salt pepper chicken, & orange chicken

I just went here today for the first time, I've only ever had the Sherman that's on Thornton. The food I got today was super fresh and delicious and they don't skimp on the Portions here. I got two 4 items plates both with half chow mein half fried rice then I got the salt and pepper chicken, fried chicken, orange chicken & some bbq pork looking item but I think it was chicken. The service was good and they were friendly. They also have dine-in if you want to do the buffet. I'd definitely go back again just based on the food I had today since it was hot & fresh.

    Piece of metal in meal

Come here all the time, unfortunately today I found this piece of metal in my kung pao chicken food is good Though just scared of what could have happened if I didn't bite down on it first

Prices here are super cheap, the workers are friendly, and it usually isn't too busy. The food is on par with your usual Chinese takeout, and you can't beat the price. Selection isn't the biggest, but it should be enough for a few plates

    4 item combo - $9 (chow fun/mongolian chicken/sweet & sour pork/white rice

I am extra annoyed and disgusted to find bugs in my won ton soup. Like, livid! Many bugs. I called and let them know, they said sometimes bugs are in the bok choy.. They asked me to bring it back & they'll credit/refund me back but the drive is not worth how my mood will be when I get there. Never again!

Any four Items (Combo): Chow mein, Orange chicken, Teriyaki chicken, Salt & Pepper chicken

Turn the clock forward a decade and guess what, the food is still outstanding and the service is still attentive and kind. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so we were good and hungry when we got into town. The owner greeted us warmly and a friendly server (her son), came by to help us. We decided to order: Hot & sour soup - heaven in a big bowl. Savory broth filled with delicious ingredients. It was well flavored, not too spicy or tangy Mu shu chicken - 4 pancakes with hoisin sauce. Our server wrapped our first ones for us. The dish contained the typical scrambled egg, sliced cabbage, protein, etc and it was fresh and tasty Beef with asparagus -noted in the entry that asparagus was in season so we had to order it. Meat was tender and the asparagus was cooked beautifully House chow mein - Fried perfectly and not doused in a bunch of sauce or oil. The protein on this dish was plentiful and it was simple and delicious. I loved how they didn't add chives/green onion to these dishes. The hot & sour soup had a few little green onions for color but this is the first time I've been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn't overfill the dishes with onions (as I don't like onions). Maybe that's the reason I enjoyed everything so much. Portions are very generous! We had lots of yummy leftovers. Our server told us that two of his brothers were the chefs. My kudos to them; they certainly know how to cook!

There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

You just walk right in, grab a plate, and start loading up. Once you sit down, someone will bring drinks. While there, many people came in for the to-go options. Friday, January 9th. Approx. 6:50 PM…read more OVERVIEW: Was at Lincoln Village to do some shopping, and wanted to try this restaurant for the first time and get some to-go food. Will probably go back again to give their Dim Sum a try. PROS: - GREAT LOCATION in the middle of Lincoln Village Shopping Center & lots of available parking spaces. - Ordered the Fried Garlic Chicken, Broccoli Beef & House Special Chow Mein. Good flavor & volume for the price. - This may be commonsensical, but while it was quite cold outside on this January evening, management kept the temperature of the dining area at a warm level. I bring this point up since a lot of restaurants in Stockton & Lodi have turned the thermostats of their dining areas down to cut overhead costs, but this place kept their dining area warm & comfy. CONS: - It seems obvious that they only have one chef working in their kitchen, since it took almost 30 minutes to complete my order. Sure, they had to serve other customers dining in, as well as handle a constant flow of pick-up orders, but since it was peak order time on a Friday night, they should have more staff in the kitchen to quickly support the order volume. - While I mentioned in the "PROS" section above, the food has good flavor and volume for the price. The downside is that the overall flavors are not outstanding nor memorable, which doesn't allow for much separation with other mainstream Chinese restaurants, serving the same dishes in Stockton. SUMMARY: If you're in the Lincoln Village area, want to eat Chinese food and are not in a particular hurry, this is a good place to park the car and sit down for a while. If you are in a hurry, better to phone in your order beforehand to cut the waiting time. Don't expect exotic food presentations and flavors, but don't expect massive damage to your wallet either.
