Driving north from NJ to Raynham, MA, I had a major engine malfunction about 60 miles from my…read morehotel. I didn't know what happened, but I could tell my 6 cylinder was now running on 5 (and quite loudly). The car was still running, so I rolled the dice and kept on driving...luckily I made it to my hotel. When I told Nicole at the front desk about my car issues, she said "I would go to Big Al's in Taunton". Being a stranger in town, I opted to go with my one and only recommendation. The next day I was barely able to get my car to Big Al's. It was about 8:30 in the morning and I told them "I hope to drive home this afternoon". By noon they called with the diagnosis: a spark plug had blown out of the cylinder head, stripping the threads on the way out. I would need a helicoil repair on the head, new plug, wires, throttle body, etc. I told them "go", they were done with the work by 3:00 and I was back on the road to NJ by 4:00. Big Al's staff were fast, efficient and friendly. Thanks guys! (and thanks to Nicole at the Raynham Marriott for the recommendation)
