They arrived on-time and worked efficiently + carefully to pack up the home and deconstruct the furniture. They were also more than willing to move around furniture at our new place if we found that we wanted it oriented differently. All-in-all, the experience took longer than originally quoted but that was because we had a LOT to pack and move. Again, the quote is based on the number of hours to complete the move, so I still fully believe that the service is fairly and competitively priced. I'm also very grateful to the team of movers Ludwig, Simon, Jose, and Lupe for staying so long and working so hard that day. It is very much appreciated because now we are in our new home with everything clearly labelled and nothing broken. I would recommend Joshua's Moving for any Bay Area move. They arrived on time and worked very hard and quick to get everything loaded up onto the truck. The movers were very professional and had all the supplies we and they needed. We had some big wire racks and they were able to saran wrap a bunch of boxes on them. They also had some wardrobe boxes that had a rod to hang stuff on. We had stuff at two locations so they had to pick stuff up at one, leave some stuff from spot 1 behind at spot 2, and pick up everything else from spot two before taking it all to its final landing spot. A couple things did break in transit, some cubbies and a glass baking dish, the dish was my fault though as it wasn't wrapped at all, and was in a collapsible bin. They were also able to take away an old mattress, it was a little more expensive that my boyfriend was originally quoted, but after a long day of packing and moving, we were fine paying it to not have to deal with it.

I filed a complaint and spoken with manager and emailed the general manager who entrusted their workers and refused to take a deeper look into this investigation. During the move, instead of coming directly to our location, the movers made a stop first; stating they were going to take a break. I asked the managers to check their gps location for proof and they refused. My family tipped each of the 3 movers in cash additionally and bought them food as a thank you. This was done before we found out some of our items never arrived. As of recent, they have ignored further communication from me. Half service deserves half payment.

I called back and we ironed out the details within the hour. They were able to help me move the same day with less than 1 hour notice of the move! I was so impressed from end to end the support they provided. They helped move our vintage baby grand piano from a 3-story SF home (with over 40 steps) to Daly City (3 steps). They came prepared with packing materials, tools detach and reattach the legs and sheet stand etc - and rugs to cover my floors during drop off. Fair pricing because of the crew size required with a base rate plus additional charges for stairs and complexity of the stair space. It took them nearly an hour just to carry a mattress down three flights of stairs because they had to stop and rest several times. After everything was packed, moving a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home still took 5.5 hours. They also damaged my child's wooden play kitchen by punching a hole in it, and they placed the mattress upside down with the sleeping surface facing the floor. On top of that, they pressured us to give a tip. Overall, I would not recommend this company.
