Shinko grill food is so favorable. I love that the rice is cooked just right. I like u get to choose if u want all flats. Omg that sweet tea, taste like something grandma made.

Incredibly impressed with this restaurant! The sesame chicken lunch special was deliciously amazing and was big enough for two meals! The crab Rangoons were crispy and delicious and paired with a delectable sweet & sour sauce. Love love love! Will 100% revisit.

Shinko is a good easy sushi restaurant. I always get the U pick 3 bento box as it has the best value and variety. Quick and easy for takeout and dining in.

It was hard to decide between Mexican and Asian tonight. Obviously we went Asian. I've had Shinko Grill delivered before and it was good. We actually dined in tonight, the food was decent, however, for a place where you order your food at a counter and get your own drinks, I find it over priced. The Bang Bang Shrimp was actually just their fried shrimp with a spicy sauce they give you on the side. Not truly Bang bang shrimp, oh, and they 'forgot' to give us the 'bang bang' sauce. The General Tso's was ordered with a spring roll which is not in the photo because they forgot that as well. We went to the counter and they did give us the sauce and spring roll. Sadly there were only a couple people in there, so it's not like they were really busy and forgot, they just forgot. I don't know about anyone else, but if I'm paying over 2.50 (these were 2.75) for a drink, I think there should be alcohol in it. Two adults, and just noodles and a drink for a 4 year old, and it was almost 45.00. I know food cost are going up, but for what they give you here it's ridiculous. They really need to improve on their sushi, some of the saddest Cali rolls, but all in all edible.

General yeah ok chunks of chicken where !!! look at those little pieces of chicken

I tried I can't over priced. Had the general tso with noddles. Measly piceces of chicken & broccoli. Noddles were slimy. The crab Rangoon might as well been called cream cheese Rangoon. I won't be back

Time is now 5:30, ordered created at 5:08

Service was almost acceptable, wait staff seemed disinterested. Food was OK, but 50% more expensive than at competing, similar restaurants.

After placing a call to Little Tokyo to confirm they too weren't filled to capacity, we headed there for our sushi fix, and it made me regret not having visited sooner. Little Tokyo boasts a pleasant, relaxing ambiance that made it a welcome refuge from the night's rather intense rain. The menu here is Japanese (sushi, sashimi, hibachi, etc.) albeit with some Korean and Chinese influences. The selection of sushi rolls is extensive, and quite a few of them sounded intriguing. Admittedly, the Italian (a California roll topped with white fish, tomato sauce, and cheese) was a bridge too far even for me. My wife and I came hungry and went with two apps (steamed dumplings and vegetable gyoza), four rolls, and two misos. The food was, across the board, quite good. Whereas some miso can blast you with salt, Little Tokyo's broth benefitted from an underlying richness. Our sushi was beautifully plated and tasted fresh. Of the rolls we tried, the Bulgoki (beef, crab, cucumber, and eel sauce) was my favorite. Prices here are reasonable for the quality of the food (rolls in the low-mid teens, most apps under $10), and severs are polite. The kitchen isn't lightning fast, but we didn't find the wait unreasonable. Based on ratings, I expected "good," and based on hunger levels and a desire to be out of the rain, I would have settled for "OK." Little Tokyo, however, ended up being surprisingly great.

I just wasn't expecting this level of authenticity in High Point. My daughter and I stopped in on Saturday, May 23, and spent $61.39 on dinner and drinks. I almost skipped it entirely because raw fish just is not my thing. Smoked salmon, yes. Raw seafood, usually not happening. Then I noticed they had cooked poke bowls and customizable options, so we gave it a shot. The food hall was not busy when we visited, so service moved quickly. After ordering, they handed us a buzzer and our food came out fast. We ended up getting everything to go. I ordered the large Strawberry Blossom tea refresher. It had a really good fruity flavor, although it started out a little sweeter than I like. I added some extra ice and that fixed it immediately. My daughter got the Peach Paradise tea refresher, and hers was excellent from the first sip. Both drinks were large and definitely worth the price. We shared the Firecracker Roll, and they had no problem adjusting the spice level for us. Normally it comes with spicy tuna and spicy sauces, but they toned it down without making a big deal about it. The roll came with ten pieces, topped with fresh tuna instead of the spicy tuna, crunchy bits, scallions, and sauce. Plenty for two people to split, and we still brought a couple pieces home. It was delicious! For my meal, I ordered the Chicken Poke Bowl from the cooked menu section. I am glad I spotted that menu because it completely changed my mind about eating there. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The vegetables were crisp, the rice was cooked right, and the sauces pulled everything together without making the bowl heavy. I upgraded to the fried chicken for an extra dollar. The breading did not stay on perfectly, but that was a small issue compared to how good the bowl tasted overall. Even the bites without chicken were good enough to stand on their own. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. My daughter built her own poke bowl, which honestly looked like the fun option. You go down the line choosing your base, proteins, mix-ins, sauces, toppings, and crunchy add-ons. There were a lot of choices, but it still felt simple and easy to follow. Everything looked fresh, colorful, and made to order. The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and organized. The staff stayed friendly, and the whole place had a relaxed vibe. It was a bit pricey, but I think worth it. This place definitely earned a return visit from me, especially considering I almost walked past it because of the raw fish focus. Must order: Firecracker Roll and the Chicken Poke Bowl & Peach Paradise bubble tea Tip: If raw seafood is not your thing, check the cooked menu before you decide. There are plenty of good options.
