I tried to reserve a table online, but it wasn't accepted. When I called during dinner hours, they took the reservation. The interior looks cute with the wall posters and ceiling decoration. There is a lot of options on the menu. We tried the Seafood Okonomiyaki which was a decent potion, but there was little seafood. The Yellowtail Collar was crispy and we liked it. The Unagi Rice with tea was just right. The Beef Vegetable fried rice as a value deal, but a little too salty. I liked the broth for the Chasu Ramen, but the portion was very small. You probably have to add a lot of add-ons if you want it as an entrée. We finished the mean with Taiyaki for dessert. This time, I saved room for dessert.

We came in as a large party, sat immediately around 11pm. There was only 2 servers and unfortunately there was a lot of miscommunication, forgotten items and awkward tension. Besides that, The ramen was delicious, lots of noodles and good portion of meat. Takoyaki was super yummy and came with a lot of pcs Only canned soda unfortunately tho

Extremely slow service. It took more than an hour to serve our party of 9. Even after all the food was finally served to our table, we had to chase down one of the waitresses to get her attention to pay the bill.

Shinya ramen house in Bridgeport is located nicely on Halsted. They had a large menu which was great because we got to choose from so many things! All the ordering was done on the phone, this helped make the food come out super quickly! We were super impressed with their service. They had awesome decor in the restaurant too! We love the Don bowls and beef skewers from the grills. The ramen was good too.

Let's talk about this little gem in the heart of Bridgeport Chicago! Hubby orders there ramen faithfully! However we came in and presented so much more! The bulgogi rice was so good and well flavored. The egg on top of the bulgogi rice was perfect. We also had the sausages (mini hotdogs) , gyoza , hubby also had garlic pork ramen & I had the chicken curry! It was so good. The chicken Karage was also bomb bomb bomb; definitely use the aioli that comes with it. Overall from the anime ambiance, the food, the mango smoothies and the pina colada 20/10 ! Follow me on Instagram/Tiktok @damnthosesteaktacos to see the in person experience!

One of my favorite spots to get ramen. My family and I used to go when they even opened in the morning! The place is really nicely decorated to get ramen late afternoon. I would recommend ordering the shrimp they're super good the flavor is just amazing on them. Obviously you can never go wrong with edamame, I wasn't a big fan of the friend calamari it was a bit tender and hard to bite amazing flavor though. The ramen was fantastic I finished it all. Everyone there working was really kind even when my mom was struggling to eat her ramen with chop sticks lol. Will be going again with my girls! TikTok: https..lauracitlaly

I honestly hate to leave bad reviews but save yourself time and skip this place for your next ramen stop. Everything was tasteless and mid. Starting with appetizers, our fried calamari was so overcooked it legit was rubbery. Edamame too was soggy? Not sure how to truly describe it but it just felt like it was soaked in water. The ramen broth was watery and lacked so much flavor. It tasted watered down. The tonkotsu don wasn't much better either. One of the two pork patties was literally all bone!! Onions were supposed to be caramelized too, but a lot of it wasn't cooked all the way down. Our waiter also didn't speak a peep to us... Definitely not worth coming back to try the other dishes.

This spot is a great late-night option with a very cute interior and affordable prices. We tried a variety of small plates, including tofu, eggplant, potato croquettes, and crab rangoons, and appreciated the many vegetarian and vegan options available. I also had the tofu miso ramen. While the food was fresh and felt much healthier than typical late-night fare, most dishes lacked seasoning and ended up tasting a bit bland. I think fixing that could take this place to a whole new level!

Midnight ramen and eel to celebrate the start of my birthday! Excellent food, service, and vibe. Looking forward to making this a new tradition!

This place was a bit far to get to from downtown Chicago. We made reservations and I'm glad we did because it seemed pretty crowded. I ordered the tofu miso udon ramen. Broth was alright - nothing spectacular. Just felt like hot noodle soup for me - comforting and relaxed. Enjoyed the mango sake. Service is pretty quick - you can order directly from the table via a QRcode app that's linked to your table.

Decent street parking. Service was friendly but there was only one server for most of the restaurant. Food was good. A tad on the salty side for my taste. The Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen was a bit salty and fishy for my taste. Not a big fan of macha ice cream but it was a hit with the rest of the table. Overall it was a good meal.

We came here right when they opened up. We were the first party to arrive and this place slowly started to fill up by the time we were done eating. The service was ok. The staff was friendly but we had to scan the menu with the QR code and also place our order through our phone. Once you hit submit, you can hear your order go through with a loud ding in the back. Shortly after your food arrives at your table. In a way it's cool because you can glance at the menu at your pace without the pressure of your server returning ready to take your order, or having to wait for your server at times. And if you want to order more you can place it right on your phone. I'm personally not a big fan of it. The I ordered their Original Hakata Tonkotsu, and my wife ordered their Black Garlic Tonkotsu. They both came with pork belly, bamboo shoot, black wood ear mushroom, fried onion, green onion, fish cake, and a half soft boiled egg. My wife's black garlic was a little better but they weren't as tasty compared to others I've had recently. Perhaps I was too hungry, but these bowls seemed a tad bit small and not as filling. And the broth wasn't as hot as I would have liked. I would still definitely consider returning after a Sox game or when I'm in the area.

Absolutely delicious! 12/10. Fresh and crunchy cucumber with a nice flavor of spice. 6. Spicy Cucumber Salad

The calm, bright Mediterranean interior welcomes you into what feels like a cool summer day. Started with the black truffle puff bread -- felt like eating a cheese pizza with anchovies, deep and umami and honestly some of the best bread I've ever had. Would come back just for that alone. The tasting menu delivered from start to finish. The Manchego cracker came out crispy with a light creamy interior from the cheese and a hint of saltiness from the ham on top. The roasted mussel toast was next abundant mussels paired with Calabrian chili butter that took it over the edge, one of my favorites from the meal. The pasta was fresh and light with a deeply flavored sausage that complemented it well. The prime picanha closed out the savory courses perfectly tender, juicy, and the romesco sauce alongside brought a nice lightly sweet and smoky balance. Dessert was the pistachio which I don't typically gravitate toward but this one was well balanced and a nice finish to a great tasting menu.
