I read the reviews before coming here and was hesitant, but UPS sent my package to this location instead of the one I requested. The owner was condescending and made an unfunny, unnecessary comment when I asked for my package through the closed door. I know this isn't a drug house--no need for rudeness. The rest of the visit was fine, but I wouldn't return. I got my package and left, and I hope UPS delivers to the correct location next time to avoid this kind of experience. read more

I started going there to ship my packages out about a month ago, but several times I have gone there and the door has been locked. They close before the posted hours, as Ive arrived before posted closing time to a locked door. The guy is sometimes yelling out to me from a window to leave my packages inside the gate, or to wait. When I have come into contact with him, he has a very unpleasant air and attitude and talks as if I should kiss his a**. He has never been pleasant, any time I've gone there. I'm done stressing because he hates his job or is angry that he has to work.. Guess what? I shouldn't be stressed to drop my freaking packages off, wondering where TF he is, if they'll be open or how rude he will be today. I tried to be pleasant for weeks, because I'd rather have a good relationship with someone that I have to see every other day, but I'll drive father to avoid this angry person..how can this place be in business with this kind of service? This location, ShipItB2C on Venice Blvd, is hands down the rudest and most unprofessional mail service I've ever dealt with. I called simply to ask about picking up my business mail, and instead of helping, the staff were dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. What really shocked me is they even yelled at UPS representatives themselves -- if they can't respect UPS, no wonder they treat customers poorly. I honestly don't understand how UPS continues to affiliate with them. I had a team member visit this location for a scheduled UPS pickup, and the experience was extremely unsettling. While the space is technically a commercial address, it was apparent that the individual on site also resides there. The environment was concerning, from the overwhelming odor of animals to the verbally aggressive and condescending behavior of the person present. My colleague felt so unsafe that she called another team member to stay on the phone with her throughout the visit, simply to ensure someone was aware of her location. There was no indication from UPS that the pickup would take place in a such a setting, and had we known, we absolutely would have sent someone with her for safety. At the very least, UPS should clearly flag locations like this so customers can make informed decisions, either by bringing a companion or opting to have the item redelivered. No one should be put in such an unsettling and potentially dangerous environment without warning. read more

I'm contacting the City of Los Angeles for animal welfare. The man has a severely neglected dog that's crying in discomfort from mange or some sort of skin infection. His eyes also look horrible. The dogs coat is filthy and extremely oily I told the man that the dog was so uncomfortable and rudely said "he's alright". No! I bet this jerk wouldn't say the same thing if he was having to suffer in that skin. That poor animal is not alright. That poor baby needs care and it wouldn't cost much. If anyone else is an animal lover, please try to help this poor dog. It's a mixed colored Cocker Spaniel. As for his service, the owner seemed bothered I was there (I never requested his business, my package was delivered there to ensure I received it). I had a lost packages , he was putting that he got it and never sent it to me , and he stole the packages. I will put a police report on him. This was the most unacceptably rude service I have ever experienced in any business. I rented a U-Haul truck. I was told to pick it up at this location. I went there and signed the contract. As the guy walked me to the truck and gave me the key, he said: "Don't snatch anything from me". I said "what?", thinking I heard it wrong. "Snatch?" It got worse. His reply was: "You heard me. You're not that fucking dumb." This is unbelievably rude. I stood there, jaw dropped, wondering why the guy was so aggressive. When I finally recovered from the shock, I returned to the store to cancel the contract. He didn't allow me to enter the store, screamed at me some other swear words, said it was cancelled and told me "get the fuck out". As I left, he yelled something about Trump (I'm latino). This person should not be anywhere dealing with people in a civilized society, least say running a store. I emphasize that this was not a U-Haul store, but a dealer. I never had any reason to think of U-Haul as a company that does not respect customer service, but I think they should be more selective with their dealers. Specifically, U-haul should stop doing business with this particular vendor. read more

Well, damn. I should have read the reviews before coming here! They have THE WORST customer service ever. I picked up the truck, was told I could drop off at any location without any extra fees (except the rental price, insurance and mileage) but as it turns out, they gave me the wrong contract where I had to return the truck at their location. So I call and see if they can change the contract and was told "we don't make any mistakes, you understood wrong", he wouldn't let me talk, he kept yelling, when i asked him who reports to since i doubt uhaul allows their dealers to provide their customers with such horrible service, he tells me that he doesn't report to anyone and hung up on me. Person's name was "Rick", I contacted the uhaul 1800 # to file a formal complaint. My issue could have been easily resolved without any hostile attitude. read more

I just got cursed and yelled and threatened by the owner of this place. The business "open" sign was on, the front door open with a locked gate. I was picking up the mail for my boss, but I don't get paid enough to be treated this way. Rick, the owner, is very aggressive, defensive. I waited in the parking lot and moved my car out of the way immediately after he came in. I explained what I was there for and how I had been waiting. He claimed that he only takes appointments, yet no sign in the business indicating that. Yelled at the top of his lungs demanding to know if I had the app. I had no idea what he was talking about, so assumed I needed to set it up to do business with him. I proceeded to take a picture of the business sign to find the app. He proceeded to more yelling and cursing: "do you think I give a fuck about your reviews." This entire business is a scam. The owner, Rick, lives in the shipping office and does all kinds of things, like music. He doesn't know anything about shipping. I gave him a printer to package and ship to Missouri. He did a bad job packing, and the printer was destroyed in transit. Rick said that the printer was insured, but it wasn't. When I called UPS, UPS told me that ShipItB2C has no relationship at all with them. ShipItB2C is simply a retail customer of UPS, the same as you. Now and then he gets a customer, and plays the game like he is really in the packing and shipping business. He isn't. The bottom line for my deal was that I lost my $500 printer and no refund even for his $100 in fees. Rick ended up charging me in full, even for his fraudulent insurance - no money back at all even though he completely defaulted on his obligations. Rick even kept the printer, returned in anger by the recipient. Bottom line: Rick is a good option if you want work with an amateur, destroy the item you are shipping and lose a lot of money. Bad bad bad customer service. I went to pick up my reservation uhaul truck and bad service. The guy was so rude. I introduce my self and told him I had a reservation he asked for my driver license and credit card which I provide it he ask for my email which I provided as well, I couldn't find me on the systems so he asked me again for my email and I told him nicely that he wasn't gonna be able to find me with my email because I didn't put one. He response was: can you please let me do my job I stood quiet he put my drive license and credit card on the counter and asked him if he was done with my documents he said I put them there for a reason I'm like wow. He took me to my u haul truck he didn't explain to me anything. Truck had a lot of dents which I asked him and he said he couldn't do anything about it. Gas was empty and paper work said it had half a tank he said he couldn't do anything about it which I got charge when i brought it back. Never ever go to this place read more
