I recommend! My son and I stopped by before closing and options were limited as expected. Yet we ordered two do-nuts, powdered and vanilla icing. Both were very sweet and tasty. Service was friendly and patient. Ambiance is very intimate and clean. I can't wait to return to tey some other options!

I just had a delightful experience at Shipley Do-Nuts!! First and foremost, the donuts were delicious. I tried both the classic and chocolate glazed, and the cake glazed. The classic and chocolate glazed were fluffy, light, chewy, and huge. And the cake glazed literally tasted like moist, soft cake in the shape of a donut. The best part is that all these donuts are apparently healthy too because most of their donuts are made with just: "wheat, flour, vegetable shortening, potato flour, soya flour, sugar, eggs, milk, and salt." They were really proud of that. I also got their KOLACHES. I wrote that in all caps because you must try them. I tried their bold sausage w/ cheese and jalapeno and the egg, sausage, w/ cheese. The egg, sausage, w/ cheese was the showstopper because it was giant and bursting with filling. But I personally preferred the sausage w/ cheese and jalapeno because sausage in hotdog form is supreme and the jalapeno had a nice kick. I also want to give a shoutout to the young lady that was working the counter today. She was full of energy, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Final notes: the prices are great and there's indoor seating too! All in all, Shipley Do-Nuts is a solid five stars. And I look forward to my next visit. :)

Finally got to try Shipley and I was very impressed. I placed an order online and everything was ready when I arrived. The inside is bright, shiny and very inviting. Everyone working was nice and helpful. I only tried one of the 2 dozen doughnuts I got but everyone who tried one had no complaints. All of the doughnuts looked delicious. I created my own sample box and was very excited by all of the options they had available. I tried the Blueberry glazed cake doughnut. It had just the right amount of sweetness and was a perfect texture. My dad ate 4 plus of the doughnuts and he could have kept going. We also got the hot dog kolache, hot dog and cheese kolache and the sausage, egg and cheese kolache. I sampled each of these and they were tasty. The hot dog alone had more flavor than the hot dog and cheese kolache. When I sampled the sausage egg and cheese one it was cold. It wasn't bad but I would prefer this one hot. Overall I hate that this location is so far away. I love doughnuts and would love to visit more often. I hope they open more locations in the charlotte area. I lived in Texas for 4 years, and absolutely loved Shipley when I was introduced to it there. I was sad to leave as I knew I wouldn't have Shipley anymore. To my surprise, I saw a post on Facebook last night, looked up the Concord location, and jumped in the car this morning to go get some kolache. Kolache is basically an oversized Texas Roadhouse roll stuffed with breakfast food. I got the bacon, egg and cheese. So soft, filling and delicious! I also got some donuts for my family to try. Let's show this location some love so we can get more locations in NC! The staff are super friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Amazing fresh donuts in Concord! Came here because I had a 4th of July deal, 2 dozen for $17.76. I was surprised that they had so many flavors and none were sold out! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the place was nice and clean as well. I ordered a bunch of different flavors. I loved them all. My favorite was the devils food chocolate filled and cream chocolate filled. They had a good amount of filling and weren't overly sweet. I also loved the glazed blueberry cake and Bavarian cream. The only donut I wasn't a fan of was the glazed chocolate cake. It was a little bland. Overall, the donuts were fresh and amazing! I will definitely be back again!

This was my first visit to any Shipley's Donut ever and I am a fan! There are 3 ways to order: drive-thru, in-store or online. We decided to go inside for our first visit. There are a few parking spaces on the side, but more spaces are available in the back. Since most visits should be pretty quick, there are no customer restrooms inside. There is bar-style seating for up to 10 people. The menu includes the basic hot drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, and cappuccino) and several cold beverage options (cold brew, frappe, and refreshers). They also have bottled drinks for sale. I tried their house-blend coffee with a flavored creamer. It was pretty good and reasonably priced. Now for the actual donuts. They offer a great variety of donut options without being too overwhelming. I chose the apple-filled donut and the glazed blueberry cake donut. They were serious about their filled donuts. I tasted the apple filling on the first bite and it was absolutely delicious The blueberry cake was pretty awesome as well. I tried a bite of my husband's classic donut and it did not disappoint. Did I mention that everything is made fresh by hand?! From the moment we walked in, they provided the best customer service. We had the pleasure of being served by the owner. She is very welcoming and friendly, but most importantly, she is clearly passionate about her business. Other employees gave warm smiles or friendly hellos during our visit as well. Highly recommend! I loved this visit and can't wait to go back.

A unique donut place that also has savory kolaches. The kolaches are soft buns filled with different savory fillings like egg, ham, cheese, sausage, and jalapeño. The dough is also unique tasting. The sugar donuts are perfect for someone who doesn't want something too sweet. It's very light, airy and fluffy. The cold brew coffee donuts are denser and more cakey but the coffee flavor is on point. The bear claw and apple fritter has the same texture but the apple fritter is on the sweeter side.

Tried out the newest donut shop in town today. As far as customer service, 5 stars all the way. The young staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. Smiles on all the faces. At first glance, the small yet efficient store looked clean and cute. We told the servers it was our first time there and they gave us a short history of the Shipley brand. We looked over the donuts and my husband and I each picked out a donut. We sat down at the long bar that runs along the store front windows. The whole counter needed a wipe down. There was either chocolate or powder sugar at each chair. The donuts were good. Fresh and tasty. Were they the best donuts in town? No. But for a change of pace I can see hitting them up again. I do wish them the best of luck!

This place is incredible. The staff is awesome, and the community involvement efforts are especially appreciated . I also appreciate that every time I walk in I am greeted by all and it feels like a family run business that really is doing it right. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful and it is really hard to choose anywhere else to go because of the amazing experience I have every time. That's ALL before I talk about THE FOOD!!! The donuts and Kolaches are fresh and delicious. You get a cool peek inside the cooking process as the kitchen is open and the display is always filled with delicious offerings. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. I guarantee you'll come back. Atrium discount too! This may be a chain but to me it feels like a local family owned business with unmatched service and AMAZING treats. They are doing it right!

These do-nuts are a cross between a dunkin donut and a Krispy Kreme and if you are a "hot" light Krispy Kreme person, these are "fresh" but that doesn't mean hot. They said, "these are fresh" and my mouth was all set for hot and nope! LOL! They were still good but they definitely have that cake donut taste.

My family loves donuts and we were so excited to see a new one opening up. The donut flavors are your typical ones except for the cherry flavored. We ended up trying the glaze, chocolate frosted, strawberry frosted and raspberry filled. All of the frosted fruit ones are made with real fruit and you can taste it. We thoroughly enjoyed these donuts. I gave it a 4 because it was our first time going and we felt rushed even though we were the only ones in the store. Overall, I will be back to try more!
