We were the only customers at the time, which I appreciated because it gave us time to review the menu & chat with the gentleman behind the counter without worrying about feeling rushed, etc. The spot is cute, with plenty of parking, seating inside and out, and it gives off a nice, cozy vintage vibe. He gave us time to look at the signature drinks, offered information, let us ask questions, etc. He was very nice! I landed on the Biscoff Bliss and as a fun tidbit - they offer Small, Medium, and Large, but they also have a "bucket" size - which we found intriguing & of course went for the bucket! It's essentially one of those "to-go" soup containers and they make a hole in the lid to fit a large boba tea sized straw. It also had like 5 shots of espresso in it and even at 3pm, I'm down for! That was literally the best coffee I have tried in a long time. It was delicious and there was so much of it that I got to enjoy it for the rest of the afternoon! As a side note, the 2nd time I went, I ordered the same thing & another barista made it. It was good, but not as good as the first one I had. The prices are great and I love supporting a small business over a chain. So you should definitely pay a visit to The Bean Counter!

It was a nice contrast to places where you get the distinct impression the person serving you would rather be anywhere else. Nothing to criticize here. The service was exactly what it should be. Food: 8/10 This is where they lost me a little. I asked about the baked goods and was told they're sourced through a distributor. I understand that this is common practice, and there was nothing inherently wrong with what I had. But "nothing wrong with it" is a pretty low bar for a café. There's a bakery and restaurant directly across the street, and there are excellent local bakeries that deliver fresh products daily. Why resell distributor-sourced baked goods when there's an opportunity to support another local business and serve something that could make the food every bit as memorable as the service and atmosphere? No part of it tasted like earl grey imo. I would skip on the sweet coconut cold foam as it barely provides sweetness to your drink, which in turn, is not worth the additional cost. Overall, it was a nice place to cool down and the atmosphere was alright. The interior is aesthetic and well designed. Coffee is not really special and cake is good. Wallet may shed a tear.

The Reindeer latte was really good and tasted exactly like carrot cake but Cairo tasted nothing like pistachio or orange blossom or coconuts.
