I wish this restaurant with the same view was where I lived! Phenomenal serene and beautiful atmosphere right on the water with large glass windows so you could sit inside and enjoy the magnificent water view. For people who have boats, you can also arrive by boat. All of the food was delicious and most things were able to be made gluten free and even items that most restaurants can't do gluten free and this is NOT a gluten free restaurant. We started with a ceviche appetizer that came with guacamole and freshly homemade corn tortilla chips which was was so fresh. My husband had the pan seared local snapper entree and I had the Hawaiian big eye tuna mignon which came with shrimp risotto, yellow tomato and bok choy in a lobster buerre blanc. For dessert we shared a piece of key lime pie that was also gluten free and I had the Oaxaca to drink. Service was fabulous as well.

Beautiful location right on the water. Unfortunately, the food and service did not live up to the beauty of the restaurant. It took a while for drinks to arrive and service just felt slow throughout the entire evening. For apps, the calamari was delicious and unique from typical calamari with the addition of the cabbage and Thai flavors. I ordered the beet salad with salmon as my entree- I was quite disappointed with the few number of beets, only one bite of goat cheese, and bland salmon slapped on the side. The lettuce was quite dry, but once I asked for a side of the herb vinaigrette, it was delicious! The pepper crusted salmon entree was very good.

Thought it was going to be nicer than it was. The calamari was tasty but bothered my stomach later. The burger was awful. Barely any beans. I tried to cut it and it was super stretchy, no idea what they used as a binder. Flavor was super overpowered by caramelized onions. Had to get a reservation but yet the place wasn't full. Tons of staff though. Overpriced and not worth it.

Even the sign says it all.

Everything about this place is just fantastic. From the food to the setting, it's fantastic. Whenever we're in the area it's a must go on our list.

Shore Shore Shore, I think last night was our last visit for a long time. Not only is the menu unchanged from years ago and dated but it's frankly unimaginative and boring now. The salmon was mushy, pomegranate reduction was far too sweet, there was zero cheddar on the kids pretzel sliders which were also dry and overcooked, zero seasoning on anything, no bacon jam on the shore burger, and the same salad was served with the jenga ribs that was served with one of our appetizers (kung pao calamari) - see what I mean with lack of imagination?? Hosts were dull and couldn't even muster a smile. Two stars only because our server was efficient, friendly and personable.

Extremely disappointed. Shore has always been one of our favorite restaurants, which is why we chose it to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, the entire experience--from the service to the food--was unacceptable. We started with the truffle fries, which we usually love, but there was absolutely no truffle flavor. We sent them back, only to have the exact same fries returned--still no truffle. The entrées were even worse. My husband ordered the ribs, which smelled and tasted spoiled. He ended up only eating the salad on the side. I ordered the shrimp pasta special, and the pasta was completely undercooked and hard. I had both my husband and daughter try it to be sure I wasn't crazy, and they both agreed. When I informed the waitress, she removed only the shrimp from the top of the dish and placed it back in front of me. There was no offer to remake the dish or provide a replacement. When I explained that the pasta was undercooked, she dismissively replied, "If you didn't like the way it tasted, you won't like it if we replace it," and repeated the same response when I told her it wasn't the taste but that it wasn't cooked properly . Her attitude was rude, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate from the get go. At that point, my daughter's birthday celebration was ruined, and we chose to leave and have dessert elsewhere. The best thing about the experience was the valet. I don't know what has happened to Shore, but the drop in food quality and service is alarming. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and gets things back on track.

Great spot! Came here on a bachelorette with a large group and it was perfect! They sat us outside near the water, promptly brought us waters and greeted us. We started with drinks and a bottle of champagne for the bride which was brought in a wine chiller to keep it cold, they made sure none of our drinks never ended up empty. We ordered a ton of different things and everyone had marvelous things to say! The scallops & risotto, Pork chop, salad with steak, grouper, and a few other items. Everything tasted fresh, was brought to our table promptly and made sure we had everything we needed! Will definitely be back when down in siesta key again!

Great meal and wonderful views. We loved our experience at Shore. Service was great and we had awesome dishes. Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion.

I enjoy this restaurant each and every time I dine here! Love the vibe of this place. There's a beautiful store with gorgeous items like jewelry and beach wear attached. The food is wonderful. Service staff are all impeccably amazing at helping you choose a good selection off of the menu. Cocktails are equally fabulous. Looking out the oversized picture windows is like being outside and right on the water. You shouldn't miss this one, check it out for sure.

If you're looking for a 5 star all around experience from the perfect intimate waterfront ambiance, attentive service, and mouthwatering food, look no further! The herb and shallot goat cheese served as part of the artisanal bread and spread stood out with its savory flavors and creamy texture. We enjoyed the fresh, bold flavors of the black pepper crusted Faroe Island salmon and the pan seared snapper. I particularly enjoyed the crispy yet creamy arancini rice cake and citrus butter with my snapper. The blood orange margarita was refreshingly delightful and I enjoyed more than one! With the beautiful views and excellent food and drink, I certainly felt I was where I was meant to be...if only I could stay!

    TUNA TARTARE
    Sydni P.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant on Long Boat Key. Has a stunning view. We went on a fairly chill day (55 degrees) and they had screens that came down on the deck so we were still able to enjoy the gorgeous view and keep warm. We started with the Tuna Tartare, which was spectacular (my personal favorite) because the tuna and avocado were so fresh. The fish tacos were also spectacular - loved the mango pico de gallo. We also tried the Shrimp and Scallops, which was served on delicious lemon risotto. Not pictured but we also got the Shore burger, which was also great! The only downside was our server was not super friendly... which I think can really alter the overall experience. Other than that - it was spectacular! Definitely a must try.

We went here for lunch with friends. This is a very nice restaurant with great views of the water, multiple seating areas (one of which has fire pits) and a nicely appointed full bar. The beet salad ($15) had a lot of spring mix and a mix of sliced beets. A side of bread ($6) was an appropriate accompaniment. I had the crab salad ($35) which had plenty of lump crabmeat over spring mix and some thin sliced veggies. Valet parking is available or you can self park. The service, decor and food were all very good. Prices are in line with the upscale feel of the place.

Come here for the beautiful view of the water and food! It's a favorite spot. Pull up in your boat or drive by car. FYI- the parking lot is very small so you most likely will need to valet. Seriously, the food is amazing. It never disappoints. Some favorite dishes are the scallops, snapper, miso grouper, and calamari. We dined Friday night with a group of friends. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Drinks were delish. We even indulged in a couple desserts! The snapper and cheesecake were the winners. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. If you arrive early, you can shop at the boutique. Pricey but super cute outfits if you want to spurge while on LBK. Don't have reservations? Head to the bar instead. I've been lucky a couple times and snagged a spot.

A lot of the old staff came back, a great sign when we arrived. Tonight's menu felt very similar to pre-hurricane menu. We got two grouper dishes (pecan crusted and blackened over Parmesan pasta) and both were incredible. Added on shishito peppers, shrimp curry puffs, corn bread, and a very unique onion dish that I can best describe as a soup-less French onion soup. Service was excellent, and cocktails were good, if small. My only complaint was that the beer menu dropped off - they used to carry a nice variety on tap and local brews but mostly bland big-name beers now. He gave us menus and a "wellness shot" -- delicious little concoction to wet your palate! Right away I was blown away by the interior and the menu. This looked like it belonged somewhere in Denver or Chicago, but I was thrilled to find it on the island! Matt helped guide us to drinks we'd like on the menu. I ordered the Purgatory, made up of Bourbon, chocolate bitters, agave and premium mezcal. It was divine!! We also ordered some warmed olives, and they were hot and so fragrant. Definitely something I'd order again at the bar. I was stoked to see they have a veggie-specific section on the food menu and can't wait to go back for dinner. I'll definitely make a reservation though, as it was pretty full. Next time, in terms of drinks, I have my eyes on the espresso martini (off menu, but saw a pic on Yelp), and the kiss kiss bang bang. I feel like the drinks used to be a lot more creative from what I saw on their socials and from what my friend said who went back in the day it used to be more of a speakeasy elevated cocktail vibe versus a tiki/dive bar vibe. We had to ask for the chips that are supposed to be given complimentary and then we ordered bread and soup which literally took an unnecessary like 30 mins or more to come out as we watched the people on both sides of us get their full meals before us when we got items that just had to be reheated. The tomato soup was very good once it finally came out, the rolls were good but nothing as great as the hype in my opinion for the menu. The drinks were good but honestly the starter shot given at the bar was my favorite which was a hibiscus Pom margarita which I ended up getting fully as my second drink. Service started out hot but then went downhill but that is unfortunately the standard of when gratuity is already included in a check. Then when it came time to pay it got weird when there was a simple mix up when my friend intentionally overpaid even with gratuity involved in her check and the bartender asked her if she wanted change and she said yes but never brought it back. My friend gave 3 - 20s on a $38 check (gratuity) already in but she wanted to tip a few more dollars because she is a very generous person and then when she asked about her change that's when it got weird and the bartender made it seem like she didn't understand why she wanted change instead of just apologizing for the mistake and they went back and forth for a few minutes with the bartender ending up just giving her the extra $20 back. Just left a weird taste in our mouths for the experience when I feel like any bartender would understand what she wanted to do with giving extra larger bills to split especially when she said she wanted change and it was a massive overpayment or if the thought there was a very generous tip like 30% would make sure with guest that's what they want and show appreciation if that were the case. It was just weird how it all was handled. The decor was on point for Christmas and the vibe was very casual but oldie vibes which makes sense for it being in Anna Maria island.

I hope management addresses how parking attendants interact with customers, because experiences like this can reflect poorly on the business and discourage repeat visits.

Inside, the restaurant felt spacious but somewhat dated, with a handful of locals gathered at the bar. We were seated immediately since there were plenty of open tables, and the wait staff was friendly enough throughout our meal. The food was a mixed experience. The clams were overwhelmed by an overly salty broth, making it difficult to enjoy their natural flavor. The Ahi tuna was disappointing.
