Great spot! Came here on a bachelorette with a large group and it was perfect! They sat us outside near the water, promptly brought us waters and greeted us. We started with drinks and a bottle of champagne for the bride which was brought in a wine chiller to keep it cold, they made sure none of our drinks never ended up empty. We ordered a ton of different things and everyone had marvelous things to say! The scallops & risotto, Pork chop, salad with steak, grouper, and a few other items. Everything tasted fresh, was brought to our table promptly and made sure we had everything we needed! Will definitely be back when down in siesta key again!

Great meal and wonderful views. We loved our experience at Shore. Service was great and we had awesome dishes. Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion.

    Truffle fries

Extremely disappointed. Shore has always been one of our favorite restaurants, which is why we chose it to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, the entire experience--from the service to the food--was unacceptable. We started with the truffle fries, which we usually love, but there was absolutely no truffle flavor. We sent them back, only to have the exact same fries returned--still no truffle. The entrées were even worse. My husband ordered the ribs, which smelled and tasted spoiled. He ended up only eating the salad on the side. I ordered the shrimp pasta special, and the pasta was completely undercooked and hard. I had both my husband and daughter try it to be sure I wasn't crazy, and they both agreed. When I informed the waitress, she removed only the shrimp from the top of the dish and placed it back in front of me. There was no offer to remake the dish or provide a replacement. When I explained that the pasta was undercooked, she dismissively replied, "If you didn't like the way it tasted, you won't like it if we replace it," and repeated the same response when I told her it wasn't the taste but that it wasn't cooked properly . Her attitude was rude, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate from the get go. At that point, my daughter's birthday celebration was ruined, and we chose to leave and have dessert elsewhere. The best thing about the experience was the valet. I don't know what has happened to Shore, but the drop in food quality and service is alarming. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and gets things back on track.

I enjoy this restaurant each and every time I dine here! Love the vibe of this place. There's a beautiful store with gorgeous items like jewelry and beach wear attached. The food is wonderful. Service staff are all impeccably amazing at helping you choose a good selection off of the menu. Cocktails are equally fabulous. Looking out the oversized picture windows is like being outside and right on the water. You shouldn't miss this one, check it out for sure.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant on Long Boat Key. Has a stunning view. We went on a fairly chill day (55 degrees) and they had screens that came down on the deck so we were still able to enjoy the gorgeous view and keep warm. We started with the Tuna Tartare, which was spectacular (my personal favorite) because the tuna and avocado were so fresh. The fish tacos were also spectacular - loved the mango pico de gallo. We also tried the Shrimp and Scallops, which was served on delicious lemon risotto. Not pictured but we also got the Shore burger, which was also great! The only downside was our server was not super friendly... which I think can really alter the overall experience. Other than that - it was spectacular! Definitely a must try.

If you're looking for a 5 star all around experience from the perfect intimate waterfront ambiance, attentive service, and mouthwatering food, look no further! The herb and shallot goat cheese served as part of the artisanal bread and spread stood out with its savory flavors and creamy texture. We enjoyed the fresh, bold flavors of the black pepper crusted Faroe Island salmon and the pan seared snapper. I particularly enjoyed the crispy yet creamy arancini rice cake and citrus butter with my snapper. The blood orange margarita was refreshingly delightful and I enjoyed more than one! With the beautiful views and excellent food and drink, I certainly felt I was where I was meant to be...if only I could stay!

We went here for lunch with friends. This is a very nice restaurant with great views of the water, multiple seating areas (one of which has fire pits) and a nicely appointed full bar. The beet salad ($15) had a lot of spring mix and a mix of sliced beets. A side of bread ($6) was an appropriate accompaniment. I had the crab salad ($35) which had plenty of lump crabmeat over spring mix and some thin sliced veggies. Valet parking is available or you can self park. The service, decor and food were all very good. Prices are in line with the upscale feel of the place.

My friends and I had dinner here and had an amazing experience from start to finish. I accidentally made my reservation for the wrong date, but the staff accommodated us on a busy Saturday night without any hassle. The food was incredible, and the view made the experience even better. I ordered the salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. Our waiter, John, was so kind, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed. I'll definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone visiting!

Come here for the beautiful view of the water and food! It's a favorite spot. Pull up in your boat or drive by car. FYI- the parking lot is very small so you most likely will need to valet. Seriously, the food is amazing. It never disappoints. Some favorite dishes are the scallops, snapper, miso grouper, and calamari. We dined Friday night with a group of friends. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Drinks were delish. We even indulged in a couple desserts! The snapper and cheesecake were the winners. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. If you arrive early, you can shop at the boutique. Pricey but super cute outfits if you want to spurge while on LBK. Don't have reservations? Head to the bar instead. I've been lucky a couple times and snagged a spot.

Excellent view of the water, open area. From the time you pull up for valet service, and get seated, you were treated with a friendly smile, super nice wait staff. Food was served quick and efficient. Looked great and tasted great. Great place to watch the sunset and the moon rise over the water. Just pure beauty.

This place never disappoints! I always have come by boat, and was surprised to find they were pretty empty on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. Apparently there had been a power outage caused by a transformer having gotten hit about an hour before we arrived for our 7:30pm reservations. They had all the doors open, trying to cool the place down, but it was impossibly hot out. Thankfully, things cooled down quickly as soon as the power was restored and the staff did a great job! The calamari appetizer is a perfect sharing option. Can't go wrong with the lobster and crab salad...I can't help myself but I have to order it every time!

Amazing dining spot on longboat key. We came here with a group of friends a few days before Christmas and we loved every bit of our food. We had a later reservation so the sun was already gone, but I know this place has amazing water views if you come in the day / evening. They also have indoor heaters for when it's cold at night and my wife sat right next to it. Since it was our fist time we ordered a bunch of appetizers; ceviche with guacamole, kungpao calamari, and their famous Lobster, Shrimp & Crab Cobb Salad. We enjoyed everything, tho we could have just ordered the Cobb salad, as it was so large it was a meal in and of itself. Since it was around Christmas time, they also had a special menu which had a special drink which I ordered (I think it was called Mistletoe .. something), but we all agreed it was the table's favorite drink. My wife and friend also got an espresso martini, which I thought was one of the all time best I've tasted. For the main meal I ordered one of the specials, a shrimp pasta, which I thoroughly enjoyed, even being a bit full from the apps. This place is an amazing spot for date night or dinner with your friends. I would love to come back again during the day, possibly even for lunch.

Great service! Excellent view! The fish tacos looked fantastic and tasted as good as they looked! The shore burger was also excellent. Perhaps a bit past medium well over to well but it wasn't dry, so ok. The truffle fries were very good. Served a bit on the cool side, unfortunately. Great to watch all the boats and the water!

If you're comparing to a top ranked seafood restaurant in Miami or Tampa, look elsewhere. The prices were fair and I would probably go back there if I were in town again. The only weird part was the service. It was great for the first 45 minutes and then the waitress just literally disappeared. Mike was gone for 20 minutes until we finally had to ask another waiter for our check. They probably could've gotten me for a few more drinks if they had tried. As we wandered about looking for someplace for dinner (the place we had intended for the evening was maxed out with one large party, so needed to look elsewhere) realized we just happened upon a place we had driven by a couple of times called "The Doctors Office". They had a beautiful garden area outside where people were dining, but it was a pretty warm night, so decided to check out the inside - where we found a really cool space and were greeted by the host asking: "Do you have an appointment?" (Get it? Doctors office...reservations...appointment!? Too cute a play on the doctor's office thing! : ) Well, we did NOT have said appointment (and the main dining area was quite full!) but thankfully there was one table remaining in the back lounge area, which was through a hidden door made to look like a bookshelf! This area also had its own cool vibe. Waiter (Matt) immediately placed two little medicine cups in front of us - to sample their cherry rum punch. Delish. I ordered a cocktail (cannot recall the name but along the lines of a manhattan) while my DH stayed with red wine (boooooo-ring! ; ) We shared the smoked salmon appetizer (super yummo!) Then on to dinner. OK, we're talking seafood country here! But, over the course of the several days we've been here, I ordered seafood every single time. I adore seafood but was ready for something else. So, was being realistic when I ordered something on the beef realm. Got the short rib dish and it did not disappoint. It was excellent. Maybe not the "easily shredded with a fork" ones I have had elsewhere, but certainly super tasty and not at all tough or fatty. DH got the shrimp-lobster tacos and said they were incredible! No leftovers coming home with this guy! Our waiter, Matt, was new to this establishment (but not waitering) and was attentive and personable - above and beyond. Would highly recommend. No, you're not going to get any water views (this place is sort of hidden away in an obscure spot behind a plaza) but well worth the visit!

She rudely told us it would be fine and that we could just move to another table if we started getting rained on--which made zero sense since we'd still be outside. I figured everyone has a bad day, so we let it go. Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing. The portions were way too small, the food wasn't nearly good enough for the price point, and the fish was severely overcooked. I probably wouldn't come back here for dinner, but if you're just looking for a good spot to grab drinks, it's worth a try.

I'd love to have an entree of those babies! For entrees I ordered the burger, which honestly wasn't worth mentioning. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. Just a burger. The star of the evening was the Snapper entree. For a little context, we had snapper at another restaurant, which my friend said was very good, but her face seemed only mildly pleased. When she took one bite of the Chateau Anna Maria snapper, she had the biggest smile on her face that she couldn't contain! I think the word she used was 'foodgasm.' I agreed, wishing I'd ordered it too. And if that weren't enough, they brought out a beautiful birthday donut served on its own little table complete with chocolate, caramel, and strawberry dipping sauces. Such a great touch!
