This company gets mixed reviews; On the plus side, the service was excellent. I called late in the afternoon, they answered right away. I explained I have a piano to be picked up and transported to my house. They were available that next morning, the price was right. I also said if they wanted my current piano, they could have it. They said yes, we donate pianos. Great! They arrived right on time to pick up the piano. The person I got it from said they were just terrific. They arrived when they said they would and did a great job bringing my new piano in. So far so good. 10 out of 10. Here's where it went south; they told me in order to take my old piano away it would cost $80! I was floored. Not because of the money but because they didn't advise me when arrangements were made the day before. I didn't want my old piano in the middle of my living room so I paid the money and was done with it. (I also got a comment that my old piano was a little bit beat up, as if they were taking a risk. If someone donated a free piano to me or my organization I would be grateful, not say "It's a little beat up.") Anyway, the delivery was excellent, the surprise $80 was a shock and not appreciated. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I was having my piano moved 3 blocks and was charged $230, which would have been completely fine, however they left the piano at the bottom of my stairwell AND LEFT! When I called David to remedy the situation, he said he did not know there were stairs, so he left the piano outside. So I basically paid $230 to have a piano rolled 3 blocks down the street and he told me to talk to his lawyers if I had an issue. I then proceeded to ask for the lawyers information and the told me he was going to hang up on me. When I asked why he wouldn't give me the information of his lawyers, he said I can do what I want and he'll see me in court. I have never felt so scammed and violated by a company.
