Horrible experience...would not recommend to anyone unless they are looking to pay someone to cut their face up. When I showed her the cuts on my face she proceeded to blame me because I had put lotion on my face in the morning. I'm not sure what was going on through my mind when I stopped at Walmart for brow tinting and threading, but the lesson was learned that day. The job I received was extremely crude. They didn't shape the browns and just painted them thick and black in a very comical way. Given the "field conditions" of the location, the fact that the person doesn't wear a mask and the sad results, I don't find this location attractive in any way. Thank goodness for the face scrubs that helped me correct the lousy workmanship and recover from the embarrassment fairly quickly. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows done by Ferida for the past 6 years. Ferida used to be at Walmart in Niles and when that salon closed (they ended up replacing the salon with the FedEx), she texted me and told me that she has moved to Walmart in Skokie. Personally this place is a lot cleaner than the old. Ferida is amazing, she takes her time. Keep in mind with any new person, you have to explain what you are looking for. My eyebrows are Thick and i know how i like them done and even though i am her regular, i make sure to remind her. If you are looking for a place to do your eyebrows check out this place and ask for Ferida. She is there Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and she is there until 8PM. I am very disappointed in this establishment!! My husband and I are loyal costumers, and we spend a lot of money here weekly. I will NEVER come back. We will never step foot in this Walmart as long as we live. The only reason we came here was to see and get beauty services from Farideh K, she is kind, profession, and takes her time, and it's not about money for her. We left every time very happy with our services done! We came in on Thursday and the woman working told us, and other clients that Farideh was on vacation!!!!! Little did we know she got let go on New Years Day! I will not go to an establishment that lies, and is money hungry. A $5 coupon for Shubh Beauty led to the biggest beauty mistake I've ever made in my life. The eyebrow lady had very noticeable bad skin texture and dark marks on her face. This seems like a red flag because someone who works in beauty, I expect, would take better care of their skin, but I overlooked it. As she started doing my eyebrows, she kept trying to upsell me on getting a facial massage. I said that I would do more research on it and if I was interested I'd come back to get it. During the course of her doing my eyebrows, she asked me two more times and said, "So are you going to get a face massage today?" I started to become very uncomfortable and that was the point that I should have got out of the chair and left. She then proceeded to put wax in the middle of my eyebrows. I didn't realize it until it was too late and she ripped it off my face without holding my skin taut. SHE JUST RIPPED IT OFF WITHOUT HOLDING MY SKIN. Anybody who does waxing knows that is not correct. Because I was so surprised by what she was doing, my forehead has been traumatized ever since. I haven't gotten my eyebrows waxed in 9 years. I didn't ask for the threading services just for someone to use wax on my face. I'm writing this review 10 months later and I still have a dent inbetween my eyebrows from her unprofessional use of wax on my face. Ever since that day, my forehead never feels fully relaxed. It always feels like my eyebrows are pulling together in the middle of my forehead. It's also visible in pictures. This is very disheartening because I'm a model and I'm still young.
