We came here for threading services, but was surprised that 95% of the service was done using wax. I am not sure if there was a hearing or a communication issue, but I did call ahead to confirm as well as stated the specific request in person, so there shouldn't have been any confusion? I am thinking this pivot of the service was due to the pressure of attending to all the waiting customers, and since there was only one person on shift, everything was rushed through. The results were okay, but could have been a bit more cleaned up and more attentive. Due to the high reviews on this place, we thought it would have been exponentially better. Unfortunately, we will be returning to our usual salon. In 2026, I find it completely unacceptable for a salon to advertise a hair service while explicitly excluding African American hair. Hair texture can vary across every race and ethnicity, so singling out African Americans in the wording of a promotion comes across as discriminatory, offensive, and deeply insensitive. I personally cannot support a business that chooses to advertise its services this way, and I would encourage others to think carefully about where they spend their money. I also would not support any sister salons operating under the same policies or practices.

She did just the opposite and neither of the eyebrows looked similar and they both were two crooked, thin lines. I had my eyebrows, lips and chin done and by far this visit was the most pain I ever experienced. Tears were coming out the corners of my eyes. Later that evening I still felt the burn from her removing hair plus skin. I am not sure if I was the unlucky one to get the worse threader or they all are equally as bad. I will never return.
