I came in for a late lunch today and sat at the bar. There were a bunch of locals there and everyone was so nice. They also had some really great music playing. The bartender was nice and I noticed that they have unbelievable happy hour food specials from 4-5. 95 cent oysters and shrimp I have never heard of them being that cheap. I ordered a dozen raw oysters and they were not bad. Truthfully, I cannot Dom's oysters on MB that even come close to Wilmington. She said they were from the James River. I would definitely eat them Again though for how inexpensive they were. I also ordered a cup of the clam chowder and it was to die for. Fran blame all through it- one of the best!!!! I highly recommend it! They have only high top searing throughout the restaurant so it much of a "bar" style feel

Nothing special. I got the seafood wrap (blackened grouper) and it was SO so so salty! The tater tots tasted like the frozen ones from Walmart. My husband had the fried grouper on a brioche bun (seawich) which was "ok" and his onion rings also tasted like the frozen Walmart ones. The waitress was friendly and nice, the bar/restaurant itself was very dark and the patio had opened paint cans and seafoam insulation on a table. Not the prettiest. We will not come back.

Everything is excellent! I appreciate a lightly fried fish and this place knows how. Oysters are fresh even down to the fries. They taste like five guys. The staff is very friendly and the place feels homey!! Already planning my trip back!

I'm here for oysters and all of them are so good , fresh and tasty much try when you visit Myself Beach. Clam chowder is also delicious. They also have outdoor seating. Great place to enjoy food and drink. Service is great. Love this place.

Found this place by looking up "best oysters in MB" since we were here during Tropical Storm Debbie & were fighting tremendous rain & winds, we figured may as well eat what we love. If we didn't have dinner reservations later that night we would have waited for their "Happy Hour" for the 95c oysters ~ but we were glad we went anyhow. We belly'd up to the bar and were greeted by JR, super guy. Very friendly and let us know his favorites. The oysters were all different sizes, all of them delicious, buttery and very fresh. We had 3 or 4 dozen. A dozen mussels, a blackened fish sandwich, and a blackened grilled fish wrap. All were delicious but we could have stopped at the mussels. We met a few locals, Jewish Steve as he called himself told us stories of Poughkeepsie, his lamb dishes, and jokes. If we weren't leaving the next day we'd have gone back. Will definitely keep it in our repertoire future visits. I didn't even take many pic's. Oh outside must have had a million oyster shells in the yard & parking lot! Crazy

Our hotel owner recommended this spot and billed it as "where the locals hang out", which implied being the place to go. We walked a short distance from our hotel. There was, however, a large parking lot. The place was large, but old and dark. We sat, and were immediately served by Braden; he was awesome. He gave us the lowdown on any questions we had about the place and the food. We ordered fried calamari. Being from RI, Calamari capital of the US, I was skeptical. However, it was delicious! Cooked perfectly, served with cocktail sauce ( as opposed to marinara sauce). I loved the drink menu, a lot of old school drinks I knew from back in the day!! I had the Long Island Ice Tea.... So good, and you could taste the alcohol. Although my husband can't remember the drink he had last night, he does remember it being delicious! He had a Po' Boy with blackened shrimp and fries. He said the delicious word again! I had a fish sandwich (fish of the day) made with grouper. Mine, too, was blackened, and perfectly so! I opted for hush puppies, since I had never had them before, and Braden recommended them very highly. I have to say it.... Everything was delicious! I haven't raved about a place this much in a long time! We will probably go back here again tonight. If you are in Myrtle Beach, definitely give this place a try. It's not about what the place looks like, but the food going out of that kitchen! Soooo soooo good!!

Perfect dive bar for some great seafood and drinks. The oysters were very good and fresh. Calamari Caesar was loaded and well cooked. The hushpuppies were light and fluffy. The only complaint I have is the way the oysters were served. They were in ice and water, then it should have been crushed ice and mounded sea salt. But that is just me being picky. The service was top notch. Our glasses were never empty and she was very nice. Don't pass this place up. Yes it's a bit dive-ish but to me that added to it. Like an old fisherman's wharf feel to it. Highly recommend!

Can't go wrong with oysters, my wife had the shrimp dinner and that was amazing as well. The service was awesome! The restaurant is exactly what a shuckers is supposed to look like for the original!! Absolutely great experience!

This is the place to be if you want delicious seafood without the cost of a fancy seafood restaurant. I ordered a pound of crab legs and a blackened scallop Caesar salad. The salad had 12 scallops and was only $12.99! There was enough scallop for every bite! Go check this place out if you want something low key with great food options!

Our service was decent, and the food was okay. The oysters were tasty and only .95 each during happy hour. We ordered a dozen steamed oysters. Though not a big fan of fried seafood, we ordered the combo baskets, with shrimp and clams, shrimp and scallops, and oysters and shrimp. Fried oysters...why???? Those weren't good, but everything else was decent. This place is a true dive. It's dark, the cleanliness is questionable, drinks were slinging, and there seems to be a small regular crowd. There are three or four games near the back. Oyster shells complete the landscape decor.

Great service. Great food! The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was kind of slow.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

The crab legs were delicious, two clumps with butter and lemons. We also had the shrimp and fries- 8 large shrimp lightly breaded with shoestring fries. They do have beer to go with the crabs too! Didn't wait long. They were good. However, I don't think they were #1 level. At the most maybe mediums. We had several that were paper thin and no meat. They were full. Very watery and not seasoned nearly enough. We weren't expecting Maryland style crabs as we are in South Carolina, but weee hopeful they would be steamed and seasoned a little more. They do need those little food fans on the tables as the flies were annoying (we sat inside). Had to put napkins on top of our cups. The service here is lovely! Just super friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Justin?? Might have been Nick - ugh, can't remember. Young kid, dark hair. They were so busy, and they were for sure stretched thin. He did his best and even checked on us once while also bussing tables, taking orders, sweeping, delivering food, etc. Was debating between a 3 or 4, but realized that shouldn't hold them responsible for replicating a different style of steaming crabs and seasoning them. The service and atmosphere were great. Their food in general is delicious,
