Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... My niece is home for a couple of weeks. She really likes Thai food, so we chose Siam Garden Cafe because of the free parking at Nimitz Center! LOL! The restaurant is located in the same strip mall as Eagle Cafe. I was here many many years ago with my high school classmate. We had stuffed chicken wings, pad Thai, green papaya salad, and summer rolls. It was a yummy meal! The cozy, dimly lit interior looks authenticly decorated. Service was pleasant and efficient! We ordered Panang Curry with no spiciness, but it was spicy for me. The sticky rice helped a lot. We also got the pad see ew... it was delicious! This is a convenient location with accessible restroom! We'll be back!

The food is spot on! The service fantastic and I love the ambiance. The prices have risen but it will not stop me from visiting often. If you pay cash you save 3%. My wife and I spent $77 tip included for 3 separate dishes and one sticky rice and one regular rice. But, it's worth it to treat yourself to a nice lunch or dinner right? See you there! You can thank me later.

So we stopped by Siam Food is always great and service is fantastic I got the following this time Garlic Fish (Pla Tod Gratiem) and side sticky rice

    Cucumber salad

We started with their cucumber salad. Packed with flavor, even the "mild" is spicy. You can tell they make this fresh because the cucumber slices were still firm and not soggy. Their yellow curry was delicious. Smooth sauce that isn't too salty. We added chicken to our order and that was a nice texture. We enjoyed this over sticky rice. Our favorite was the pad thai. Balanced layers of taste that wasn't too sweet, not too tangy, and not too salty. The noodles were tender, the veggies were fresh, and we added fried tofu to our order. We went during late lunch so it wasn't too busy and the service was attentive. Over the years, the food here seems to be consistent...tasty and plentiful!

Been going to this spot for a long long time, their food keeps bringing me back. We got the stuffed chicken wing, the pad kee mao and their whole garlic fish. They didnt disappoint. They are still very consistent. This place still got the same lady servers in their 50s, warm and nice. They kept checking on us so felt like I have to tell them the food was really good lol. The restaurant is fairly small so when theres a larger group in there, its quite noisy. When we were visited, there was a large group of 10 ppl right next to us. And there was a moment where one person said curry then rhe whole damn table repeated curry 15 times in different accents. That was kinda weird.

We came here with a party of 18 and I was honestly really impressed with how well the staff handled everything. The servers were super nice, efficient, and patient the whole time. Even with such a big group and a ton of dishes, the food came out pretty quickly and everything was on point. We ordered a bunch of dishes, spring rolls, fried egg rolls. papaya salad, Thai fried rice, panang curry, drunken noodles, and more. Everything was tasty and well-balanced. The mango sticky rice at the end was the perfect finish. The restaurant isn't huge, but they use the space well and were able to fit our whole group comfortably. It's located in a shopping center with paid parking in the back, so just a heads-up if you're driving. Overall, great food and even better service!

First time trying this place. Was recommended. Worth trying! Everything we ordered was delicious. I wasn't able to take pictures of everything we ordered. Ordered: all dishes were good portion sizes! -Fried shrimp and fried chicken as appetizers. Both were fried well and the batter for the chicken was light and crispy. -pad Thai was a big dish, lots of flavors - Pineapple curry with shrimp and yellow curry with chicken: lots of curry sauce, so don't forget to add side of rice . One order of rice can be shared at least 1-2 people. - pad see ew, noodles were nice and thick - garlic stir fry with beef, sauce was very tasty - Thai ice coffee: sweet and delicious. Cost $7, which was a little more expansive than I thought it would be. Nice place for lunch or casual dinner. Takes reservations and plenty of parking in front or there is a parking structure in the back. Staff were really friendly and food came out quick

My favorite place to take my girlfriends out for lunch. I usually like to get the beef salad or one of the special soups. Of course the white noodle pad. Thai is awesome too. Heck you can't really go wrong. My other friend actually ordered two of the desserts and damn it was good. Get the mochi ball one! Plan to go back soon.

While visiting the home state, my Thai friend recommended me this place and stated it was really authentic, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Being all over Thailand and trying the food there, it's really hard to find good Thai food, especially in the states. We made sure to get there as soon as it opened because I heard it can be very busy. Within the first 30 minutes of it opening, the place was packed. Our waitress handled our orders quickly however, and gave us great recommendations. The food tasted amazing and I really liked my spicy basil beef fried rice. If you are sensitive to spice, I would recommend getting it mild since this was really spicy which I really enjoyed. The food was piping hot and fresh. I can't wait to go back.

Me and my boyfriend's favorite place for Thai food!!! The way they make their noodles here are always the best because it's so flavorful. It's the perfect amount of seasonings. I wish they sold Lao sausage but they sell isan sausage instead it's not as good but it's OK. Also, their curries are always flavorful and cooked perfectly. I've been to some places where the curries either too watery or weirdly textured but not here. Their tee is also one of the really good ones. Me and my boyfriend like coming here for date nights whenever we have the chance. Parking is pretty good. It's in the area with other places like essentially yours and stuff night time does get kind of busy but not too bad. You'll always find parking so don't worry about that. I've never been here where I've had to wait a long time so that's also good and the service here is always great. The ladies are super nice. If you love Thai food, you gotta try the Thai food here.

12-12-24 lunch very popular; full before noon

Super busy restaurant. The food speaks for itself with such a full patronage before noon. Service was efficient being only one lady servicing all tables. The kitchen was crazy with dishes coming out so fast with no noise, loud bangs or language being heard. A couple tables had men speaking way too loud like attention seekers but the rest were civil and polite. Servings are generous we took home 3 containers of left overs. One tv set had a Christmas scene running in the background. Couldn't tell if there was any music playing. An enjoyable meal. We tried 2 dishes for the first time- cellophane noodle salad and crispy pork belly($25). Stuffed chicken wings is hub's request and I must have a Thai iced coffee. Bill with tip just under $90.

Siam Garden Cafe Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Siam Garden Cafe

Is MSG added in their dishes?

You can specifically ask them NOT to add MSG but all of the other items such as fish sauce, oyster sauce that is used to cook does contain MSG.

Is anyone else having issues with the phone number to call for take-out? When I call I get a FAX number.

Last time I drove there on Sunday, the door was locked and notice says "close for deep cleaning". 🤷

Does anyone know if they're still open? I have been calling for several days to do a take-out order and either I get the busy signal or a fax machine picks up. I know they closed their Kaimuki location - please don't tell me they closed this one.

I drove there on Sunday and the sign says they are closed for deep cleaning.

    Do they use MSG?

Yes they do but you can request without.

    Is this place wheelchair accessible?

    Yes, but it's tight

Where is the best place to park?

If you can find parking in front of the restaurant then that's ideal but if not there's a parking lot behind with a walk thru tunnel to the restaurant. There is also a ramp up to an upper lot.

    Is it byob?

No it's not. They have a bar counter inside.

So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

That was the first thing we ordered and the waiter asked if we've had it before so they could make sure that they presented it as the picture show it. We also ordered the chicken wings, salt and pepper pork chops, garlic, bok choy, and the salted fish and chicken fried rice. Everything was so delicious. Food was promptly delivered, and staff was very friendly. It's also BYOB and there's a Foodland in the parking lot so that was a plus as we went to the store to get some alcohol. Restaurant is very casual with about 10 to 12 tables. They were pretty busy when we arrived, but they moved with the quickness to make sure everyone got their food timely. I love the presentation of the flying noodle, although I was in a fan of the dish itself as it had a little sweetness, which I wasn't a fan of. It was just OK to me. However, everything else we ate was tasty and decently priced.

They may wish to consider: 1, Clearly delineating the line for the restaurant from the bakery. It was super busy for both so there was a lot of confusion. 2. Perhaps placing the number machine for the bakery closer to the door? Tourists aren't familiar with the system so it leads to some unnecessary dissatisfaction. 3. The food is good, I love AYCE BBQ and all of the meat they provide is EXCELLENT, especially the pork/samgyupsal. The only thing they can beat at is the beef tongue, while it is still very good, Gyu Kaku has better beef tongue but it's just expensive so not worth it at all. Their banchan is great, I am a fan of the Kim Chi they serve here, it has a nice funk to it and a subtle sourness that cuts through the well marbled meat you'll be eating. The Kim Chi soup is also great as well, just as a warning, if you rarely eat kimchi you WILL have increased bowel movements which is not food poisoning but it's the probiotic gut health nature of Kim Chi that flushes you out. So eat it in moderation. My favorite picks are the Pork Jowl/Brisket/Bulgogi/Beef Belly, you literally cannot miss with whatever you pick, it's all very tasty and easy to eat. The service is awesome and feels homy, all the auntys walk around and do their own thing and sometimes check up on you/restock your banchan/soup if you want them to. If you're not used to how asian auntys talk or behave please don't take it negatively, they express themselves in a brusque manner but they really mean the best.
