After a recent visit to Siam Garden Cafe, I thought I would post a brief update/review: I ventured to SGC with my mom, brother, and SIL last month for lunch (on a Saturday, no less). We arrived shortly before 11:30am, and thankfully we were seated immediately (in a booth!) as there was only 1 group dining (this would be the antithesis when we departed as the restaurant was packed after 12:00pm). We got settled in our booth and looked over the menu. Collectively, we ordered/shared: Spicy Eggplant Pad Thai with shrimp Papaya Salad Siam Jungle Curry with chicken Steamed Fish with Soy Sauce I honestly couldn't decide which dish was my favourite, as I thought they were all a generous portion and flavorful. My mom complimented the eggplant and steamed fish repeatedly, and while I also favoured the eggplant, I found myself gravitating to the curry throughout the meal. My SIL also liked the fish and eggplant, while my brother had many good things to say about the pad Thai. We did take some leftovers home, and as we packed up the food I wondered to myself why I hadn't returned to SGC sooner. SERVICE The staff friendly, patient, and very polite. Perfect for a quick fix to get you on your way. This was a nice stop after a hectic Costco trip. Here's some logistics if you're a planner like me: Parking: Free, it's tight right in front of the restaurant and additional parking inside the garage. The vibes inside are very cozy and feels like home, just overall very special. Can accommodate large groups and a small one on one date :) Food comes out fast, takes about 10 minutes. Fairly delicious, fairly priced and then you're on your way home with your Costco groceries! The Thai tea here is very yummy. I'd recommend getting mild for any of the dishes here if you're not a fan of spicy. They're authentic so you'll feel it otherwise. Service is fast and attentive. Very straightforward. I'm giving it a 3 overall since it did the job but I've had a lot better at Brok Da Mout Thai Food. It's better than Bangkok Thai nearby that's for sure. read more

Seriously, I have to remember to at least have something to eat earlier in the day before coming to a place with such good food like here. We both got here starving and fell for the "hungry eyes are bigger than the stomach" trap! It was just the two of us and here's what we ordered along with a Singha beer to kick off the meal... Spring rolls Masaman curry w/chicken Stuffed chicken wings Me grob with pork Thai fried chicken We also each ordered a serving of sticky rice Everything was fantastic as usual and it would be tough to pick out a favorite. I really do love their food and my only nit might be that the sauce for the Me Grob is a touch too sweet, nothing a spoonful of one of their chili sauces doesn't help balance out though. This meal was easily enough to feed a family of 4 (and keep in mind there was a 2nd beer ordered somewhere in the middle of all the food.) If we were planning on heading home afterwards it'd be no problem boxing up the leftovers for a late night snack or breakfast but we had a ton of plans afterwards so the food would probably go bad sitting in the car. Well, we did like all kids of mothers who drilled into us the "...there are starving kids in foreign countries" mantra and pretty much ate ALL of it, I think the only thing left was a bit of sticky rice and a tiny piece of chicken. Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... My niece is home for a couple of weeks. She really likes Thai food, so we chose Siam Garden Cafe because of the free parking at Nimitz Center! LOL! The restaurant is located in the same strip mall as Eagle Cafe. I was here many many years ago with my high school classmate. We had stuffed chicken wings, pad Thai, green papaya salad, and summer rolls. It was a yummy meal! The cozy, dimly lit interior looks authenticly decorated. Service was pleasant and efficient! We ordered Panang Curry with no spiciness, but it was spicy for me. The sticky rice helped a lot. We also got the pad see ew... it was delicious! Thought about pad Thai so i went to get pad Thai haha. Keeping this one short, sweet, and simple! Plenty free parking but limited for two hours, and a very family styled restaurant. I always like to order their pad Thai and personally that's just my number one favorite spot for pad Thai plus it's on the way home and going into town. The service is great and very friendly and just so you know, cash or a debit card is recommended to avoid a 3% surcharge on a credit card. I personally think that the food is always great there, including their fresh summer rolls and a great way to pair with a nice cold beer. Great for groups, accessibility to wheelchair , kids, or even just a table for one along with a restroom for customers. If I would take my friends or family here, the usual order would be summer or spring rolls, fried calamari, green curry, pad, Thai, and their sticky rice! read more

We started with their cucumber salad. Packed with flavor, even the "mild" is spicy. You can tell they make this fresh because the cucumber slices were still firm and not soggy. Their yellow curry was delicious. Smooth sauce that isn't too salty. We added chicken to our order and that was a nice texture. We enjoyed this over sticky rice. Our favorite was the pad thai. Balanced layers of taste that wasn't too sweet, not too tangy, and not too salty. The noodles were tender, the veggies were fresh, and we added fried tofu to our order. We went during late lunch so it wasn't too busy and the service was attentive. Over the years, the food here seems to be consistent...tasty and plentiful! read more

Been going to this spot for a long long time, their food keeps bringing me back. We got the stuffed chicken wing, the pad kee mao and their whole garlic fish. They didnt disappoint. They are still very consistent. This place still got the same lady servers in their 50s, warm and nice. They kept checking on us so felt like I have to tell them the food was really good lol. The restaurant is fairly small so when theres a larger group in there, its quite noisy. When we were visited, there was a large group of 10 ppl right next to us. And there was a moment where one person said curry then rhe whole damn table repeated curry 15 times in different accents. That was kinda weird. read more

We came here with a party of 18 and I was honestly really impressed with how well the staff handled everything. The servers were super nice, efficient, and patient the whole time. Even with such a big group and a ton of dishes, the food came out pretty quickly and everything was on point. We ordered a bunch of dishes, spring rolls, fried egg rolls. papaya salad, Thai fried rice, panang curry, drunken noodles, and more. Everything was tasty and well-balanced. The mango sticky rice at the end was the perfect finish. The restaurant isn't huge, but they use the space well and were able to fit our whole group comfortably. It's located in a shopping center with paid parking in the back, so just a heads-up if you're driving. Overall, great food and even better service! read more

Both were fried well and the batter for the chicken was light and crispy. -pad Thai was a big dish, lots of flavors - Pineapple curry with shrimp and yellow curry with chicken: lots of curry sauce, so don't forget to add side of rice . While visiting the home state, my Thai friend recommended me this place and stated it was really authentic, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Being all over Thailand and trying the food there, it's really hard to find good Thai food, especially in the states. We made sure to get there as soon as it opened because I heard it can be very busy. Within the first 30 minutes of it opening, the place was packed. Our waitress handled our orders quickly however, and gave us great recommendations. The food tasted amazing and I really liked my spicy basil beef fried rice. Me and my boyfriend's favorite place for Thai food!!! The way they make their noodles here are always the best because it's so flavorful. It's the perfect amount of seasonings. I wish they sold Lao sausage but they sell isan sausage instead it's not as good but it's OK. Also, their curries are always flavorful and cooked perfectly. I've been to some places where the curries either too watery or weirdly textured but not here. Their tee is also one of the really good ones. Me and my boyfriend like coming here for date nights whenever we have the chance. Parking is pretty good. It's in the area with other places like essentially yours and stuff night time does get kind of busy but not too bad. You'll always find parking so don't worry about that. I've never been here where I've had to wait a long time so that's also good and the service here is always great. The ladies are super nice. Super busy restaurant. The food speaks for itself with such a full patronage before noon. Service was efficient being only one lady servicing all tables. The kitchen was crazy with dishes coming out so fast with no noise, loud bangs or language being heard. A couple tables had men speaking way too loud like attention seekers but the rest were civil and polite. Servings are generous we took home 3 containers of left overs. One tv set had a Christmas scene running in the background. Couldn't tell if there was any music playing. An enjoyable meal. We tried 2 dishes for the first time- cellophane noodle salad and crispy pork belly($25). Stuffed chicken wings is hub's request and I must have a Thai iced coffee. Haven't been here in a while. Food is still delicious. Hubby got the ice Thai coffee, yellow chicken curry and chicken satay. I got the Thai pho and the spiciest papaya salad. Normally,we get our own because I like it spicy and hubby does like spicy food. This time the papaya salad was super spicy so I took it home and mix it with other stuff I had at home to balance out the spicy flavor. Server was nice and quick. Last Thursday, on 11/21/24, at 12:00p my friends and I wanted to eat Thai food so we decided to go to one of our favorite Thai restaurants that is central to all of us which is Siam Garden Cafe. This time my friend and I each ordered the Thai Noodle Soup with Beef. The soup was piping hot and savory and the thin rice noodles were light and the basil and lime rounded out the bold flavors. My other friend had the Rad Na Noodles with chicken. She enjoyed the Chow Fun style noodles and the seasonings of her dish. My other friend enjoyed her Spring Rolls. She enjoyed the minced pork with vegetables and the crisp wrapping with her sweet and sour dipping sauce. We enjoyed everything. We will definitely be back to Siam Garden Cafe to try our other favorite Thai dishes. read more

Best Thai food on the island! I visited Oahu from Los Angeles and have got to say Siam Garden was some of the best Thai food I've ever had. I had the Pad Thai with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. I also sampled some of my partners soup which was incredibly flavorful and packed a punch! You can taste all the spices! The interior was traditionally decorated with the ambiance of a true Thailand experience. It's located in a strip mall so parking was not difficult, even on a holiday weekend. With that being said, service was a little slow in the beginning, but once our order was placed that was quickly amended. The food was authentic and flavorful and I will definitely return once I'm back in Oahu. read more

Love this place, been coming for years and still hits the same. It's a really good place to come with friends and do family style. Days that I come here on my own I normally get the Thai style pho with either pork or beef. This is one of my favorite soups, super flavorful savory salty and garlicky. What can I say? This place has been here for awhile and it is still my go to! Lots of free parking and the ladies in here are super-nice. Their food is always delicious and super flavorful. This is my favorite place for the Thai beef salad. I would love the sauce in a bottle. Lots of Thai wooden carvings and art and lots of Christmas lights all around the restaurant. Was craving Thai food but didn't want to go for a long drive so we decided to take out from here for the first time. I was really excited to see that they had mango sticky rice for dessert, but tbh I was disappointed with the taste. It was not as sweet as I had hoped, it was actually a bit sour. The rice itself was dry, & some of the rice were hard like it wasn't even cooked. I did like the red curry! It was probably my favorite. I like how there was a good amount of veggies & tofu. The tofu was cooked good, and wasn't soggy or broken up. The chicken consisted mostly of skin, so my daughter was bummed because she said there wasn't enough chicken for everyone. We liked the fish patties, just was little bit too oily. The pad Thai was alright but the noodles kept sticking to each other. Service was good. We took out, but making the phone order was super easy, and they prepared it quickly. When you walk into the restaurant, you gotta go to the back ish where the register is at.
