Wanted Pad Thai and found this place. The ratings looked good, so we gave it a try. Good decision. We both had Pad Thai (me chicken, my wife beef). Excellent flavor and portioning. They accidentally added too much spice to my wife's plate, so they replaced it and sent up home with the mistake (which I will gladly have for lunch tomorrow). The decor is nicely themed (typical Thai). The lady who served us was super friendly and very apologetic for the mistake. Did I mention how fast the food came out of the kitchen? I looked on the menu for something not loaded with carbohydrates for dinner at Siam Grill. "Dancing String Bean" in the "House Specials" section seemed ideal for what I wanted. It was described as "sautéed fried string bean with crunchy marinated chicken in special sauce". The string beans were fresh and crisp. . .but overall it was unremarkable as an entree. It tasted very bland, with no distinguishing flavor. There was no hint of any "special sauce" that was mentioned in the menu. Also, it would have been nice if there was a little more chicken. Over all 4.5 (Food 4, Service 5). There hasn't been anything on the menu I haven't liked, but they have a similar flavors so it can get a little boring if you only order from one category. The service is GREAT though. Quick and respectful. Seems family owned and operated. It's become my go to Thai place on this side of town. Support the locals establishments! read more

Very delicious POT STICKERS I was around town with a friend and he suggested we come. I didn't eat anything else but the host/waiter was very nice. They served us water and tea which was a nice gesture I thought. And you could tell a lot of people liked this place. During the time we were there people were coming in and out. Either to eat or to pick up takeout. It took a little bit of time to get the appetizer and my friends food but it was definitely worth it :) would come again next time with an appetite to actually try one of the full dishes they offer ! read more

Been meaning to try this place for a while and so glad we finally did! Stopped in on a Tuesday night and only one other dine-in customer was there, which was a little worrying until we realized that delivery orders were coming in every 5 minutes or so. It's a small unassuming place, cute enough but nothing fancy, located in a little strip mall. We were immediately served hot tea and water, which was so nice because it was a little chilly outside. We ordered Tom Kha soup, tofu salad rolls and roasted duck curry. Everything was delicious, and we even took the rest of the soup home. The best part about this place is the adorable family that runs it. They are so sweet! It's obvious that English is not their first language, but they work very hard to make sure the orders are correct and everyone is happy--you can tell they really care. What a shame My roommates and I ordered from here through Postmates. Two of our dishes were absolutely delicious (we both got chicken pad thai) and very filling. However, my vegetarian roommate opened their order and discovered the restaurant had given them a meat dish and not a tofu one like they had ordered. This is very careless and my roommate, who already has the flu and wanted to order something yummy to make themselves feel better, could have gotten very sick. Highly recommended if you do not have any food restrictions, but I would not trust them if you have any allergies or are vegetarian/vegan. read more

Ok I'm in love. It had been a few years since I'd visited because I got a ketchupy batch of Pad Thai once. But it's fairly close to work so I tried my Tom Yum soup and some drunken noodles. Good portions, but most importantly, superb flavor. It's hard to get things spicy enough for me, and Siam Grill came close. So I ordered through Postmates the next week-got some Pad Thai, Tom Yum and some Papaya Salad. All were absolutely delicious. I personally prefer my Papaya Salad with cabbage not lettuce, but the salad was so good I totally overlooked the lettuce. Tomorrow it will likely be spicy enough. The Pad Thai was some of the better I've enjoyed-and the perfect taste and texture. Heat level was even almost reached. The soup, oh how I love thee-perfect flavor and ingredient ratios, full of spice and depth and I am almost embarrassed how excited I am for leftovers. Ordered delivery through Grubhub and food arrived on time. Had the Pad Thai and went for level 3 (our of 4) on the spice.. was hesitant at first but decided I'd rather have too much spice than not enough! Unfortunately, level 3 spice tastes like level 0. Not sure if the spice factor was missed but I definitely prefer my Pad Thai with a kick. Maybe give the top level a try if you like spicy. read more

I've had pad Thai from here before but it was takeout. By dining in this time, I can say that the food was much better and tasty. Large portion of food but sadly the pad Thai doesn't come with rice. I got spicy level but it wasn't as spicy as I'd like. Delicious and saucy pad Thai and the Thai iced tea was great too! Comes in a cute mason jar cup that isn't pre mixed so it's a pretty sight. My husband loves the pad kee mao here and my favorite is the laab salad. I've had both pork and chicken. Delivery is very speedy as well. Highly recommended. Our go-to spot for Thai takeout when we are too lazy to cook. Always get the salad rolls, tofu and shrimp are both good, peanut sauce is deeeelicious. Sometimes, I get pad Thai with chicken and vegetables and it is always reliably good and a huge portion. Other times I get pineapple fried rice and I have a hard time not wolfing the whole huge portion down in one sitting. My partner gets the masaman curry and loves it. Very good food and you get a good amount of it. I like the fact that this is a family owned restaurant it makes me feel like the food is somewhat authentic. The customer service is great and it's always fun to have your order taken by an eight year old lol! My only potential complaint is the size of the restaurant but they always make sure to give you the full amount of food in your Togo box so I usually just eat at home if I don't feel like dealing with the crowd. This is my favorite spot for Thai food. They are always very nice. Great to call in for pick up or a sit in meal. Always have new specials on deck. They have the best crispy chicken with rice and sweet and sour sauce. Pad see ew, pad Thai and pineapple fried rice are my favorites. Make sure you say how spicy you like it, it can be super hot. We enjoyed a quick lunch. They have great prices and lunch special options. It's a small family owned business, unassuming, but friendly service and tasty food. I wanted to like Siam Grill I really did. I had eaten here twice before this most recent visit tonight. I've had really good Tom Kha soup in a few different Thai places. I was close by and I thought lets see how Siam Grill does Tom Kha. I got it with tofu and vegetables. I brought my own glass container; food is always healthier and tastes better in glass. Opened the container it was pipping hot. The flavour is hard to describe........not much flavour at all. Sort of a little sour and a bit sweet. Their was no delicious coconut milk as is always with good Tom Kha. If they added any coconut milk at all it was very minimal. The vegetables were all old. Like they should have been thrown in the garbage. They were all off colour starting to rot. Broccoli, cabbage, carrots, green beans and white mushrooms. The only positive was it was not over salty. I had requested hot for a heat level and their was not any heat. All and all Siam Grill was a disappointment. They do not give you rice with your order. If you want rice a small is going to set you back $2.50. I really don't understand this at any restaurant. Why do you need to charge your customers for rice? In most of the restaurants I've been too over the years rice is included at no extra charge. Now if you request more rice then the assumption is then you will be charged. Without a doubt the worst takeout in the neighborhood. We live 3 mins away and the noodles were a congealed brick of starch and oil, topped with tasteless watery vegetables and rubbery meat that smelled rancid. The customer service here is outstanding!! I placed a very large order here by mistake, not realizing this was a different restaurant than the one close to my house (almost identical names). Upon realizing my mistake, and that there was no way I would be able to drive out to this restaurant, I called to ask them to at least give the food away so *someone* could enjoy it (figuring I'd have to eat the cost). The lady was unbelievably empathetic and, even though the order was large, she said she would refund it. And she did! I am so blown away and so incredibly grateful. Tom Kha is what I crave when I think of Thai food, and this little neighborhood joint hits the spot. I've tried it with tofu, but I bet it would be even better/more flavorful with chicken! There's a avocado curry I would like to try sometime, but didn't see it until I picked up my food (ordered take out) so it must be seasonal. The mango curry was spot on, I couldn't get enough of it- flavor packed! Pad Thai was super amazing, the noodles were cooked to perfection and spices just right. Ordered from them for the first time tonight. Had it delivered. Was starving and so excited to be eating hot fresh Thai food... until I took my first bite. It was soooo SPICY! I had ordered medium spicy but it tasted way hotter than I was expecting. After a few attempts, adding lime juice and then some yogurt out of desperation, I realized I wasn't going to be able to eat it.
