    Shrimp Pad Thai

The fried rice was very dry and bland. The pad Thai was too saucy and you can see it's almost soupy looking. Only thing that was nice was the portions are huge.

The yellow curry and the rock rolls here are top notch!!! Like absolute perfection with that curry. My 3 on spicy scale was just right. Oh so yummy!!! We made so many oohs and ahhs sounds while eating!

Hey, updating to say the food has still been great (although one time yall messed up the spice level, we always order lvl 5 spice and one time it came with ZERO spice)...but the gentleman who was up front this time was extremely curt and borderline rude. Who am I ""picking up for?" Umm, I gave you my name and repeated it a couple times and spelled it bc you said huh? Huh? While again borderline glaring away from me... Is it because I was wearing a mask that you were upset and short? Didn't even thank me for my order? Assumed I was "just a delivery driver" picking up someone else's food? I always tip even on takeout so that couldn't be it. Maybe I shouldn't tip at all next time for takeout? Sorry dude, it's my order (and we used to order every week)...if I WERE a delivery driver I deserved more respect than to be thrown my food on the counter and turned out without so much as a thank you see you next time or a bright smile like you gave the guys in front of me... You were extremely friendly with them so idk why you were so short with me. If this is your business I'm going to recommend a little more consistent tact. The food was excellent this time.

Well, I was in the mood for a quick bite of Thai food and was going to be in the area so I called ahead and placed an order for takeout. The prices on THEIR WEBSITE do not match what they charge so I was surprised when my $13 was actually $16. I got the spicy basil fried rice with chicken - great spice, not too many veggies in it, but the chicken was way over cooked - it was rubbery. I also got the egg rolls .. tasted like it came pre-frozen and they just deep fried it. It was edible but not original. There are a lot of options around so I likely won't be back. They did have a good set up to protect customers - only customer touches items (fork, chopstick, sauce, etc).

Stone found in my food. So disappointed in the restaurant's response to my concern.

This is hands down my favorite Thai spot in pdx. Best pad Thai for sure. The owners/staff are great and the food never disappoints.

Great Pad See Ew, and above-average portions. And much better service than some other Thai places in the area.

The the combination of smoky, tender barbecue with the creamy Thai curry was so good. The burnt ends brought that deep, savory, slightly charred flavor, while the curry gave it a completely different dimension. The flavors worked well. I just wished the burnt ends were more fatty. We also tried a pork belly dish, which was another highlight. The pork was rich and flavorful, and I loved the crispy fried egg, green beans, cucumber, and fish sauce with it. If you're visiting Portland and want something playful and different, Eem is absolutely worth checking out!

Flavor was great on this, and it had a crisp, crunchy batter - Wok fried yu choy: great wok char - Smoked pork krapao: crispy pork belly pieces, a fried poached egg (literally deep fried). Break up the yolk to dip with the pork. The cucumbers and green beans are a nice clean accompaniment; spicy fish sauce was great - White curry with brisket burnt ends: I've never had a white curry, but the white curry and cauliflower was a great match for the super rich brisket pieces. I love the interesting combination! Note: pretty much everything has some spice to it, so for kids, the jasmine rice and yu choy are the main items, though my older daughter did ok with the fried chicken and brisket! Music was great, and all of the food flavors were bold. Though flavor combinations were unique, everything was cohesive. They were packed on a Wednesday for lunch, so I'm glad we got here before noon to snag a table. I wish the Bay Area had more interesting fusion done right like this (I feel like fusion is a bad word in the food world...)

You can watch them frying the roti in front of you, they have a great flavor (they're a bit on the thick side), and the curry is absolutely sublime, with an incredible depth of spices without being hot. I also really enjoyed the freshness and textural blend of the "rice salad," with great cucumbers and herbs, although it was too spicy for my dining companions. I admit I didn't think the fried chicken was anything special--the chicken was moist (even the white meat), but the outside could have been crunchier. But I'm not the biggest expert in fried chicken, nor in pad thai, and both were certainly competent even if not as exceptional. Sticky rice was also cooked perfectly.

I recommend the restaurant should take the shrimp tail shell off for us. 3. Thai Basil Lemonade - solid lemonade, NEED more basil flavor.
