Siam Station is fantastic! I visited here a few night ago for dinner and got the Tom Kha Kai soup; it was so good! I mean, probably one of the best I have ever had! The location is easy to find, plenty of parking, nice little restaurant that's clearly popular amongst the locals (because it was packed during a week night)! The staff were super nice! Their menu is extensive with plenty of things to try! The only negative is outside seating, which isn't the most comfortable, but it was fine in the end. The prices are fair for the food and the experience. I recommend Siam Station to anyone looking for a nice Thai restaurant with delicious food! read more

I've eaten here a few times and am conflicted! The first time I tried it, I ordered pad Thai and papaya salad via door dash and both were cooked perfectly and packaged beautifully. The second time I ordered via door dash, we asked for spice via the note section and it was not fulfilled and overall food was just okay. Everything we tried had very strong flavors - nothing was bland/dry. It was just barelyyy too much for me with the sodium and sweetness. That's my only complaint. Great Thai food with authentic consumers and staff. It feels like I'm getting served food made by hands that knows how to work a coconut milk and basil. Eggplant and bell peppers was a little bit greasy but so flavorful. Whatever your protein is is just going to add to the dish. The egg rolls are fried to a shattering crisp in the thinnest ways while maintaining the meatiest bites. Filled with potatoes and other little veggies, with a sauce that doesn't carry easy but does coat the roll proper with a few tosses and turns. Add some hot sauce to enhance the flavor. Pad Thai was filled with chunky scallions and the tofu (if that's what you chose) are so juicy and taste of light marinate. What I would maybe wish for for maximum wow-factor is adding bigger chunks of eggs. Like fried rice one finds joy and hunger in generous visible eggs. But still so good. They do have a Dirty Thai Tea which comes without half and half/milk/cream but does make up for it with a shot of whatever they put in there. Very much a hole-in-the-ply wall nestled in the middle of a strange little plaza. Upon first arriving, I noticed it was small but looked homey. We were seated against the glass which I didn't mind until I saw the plethora of dust, dead fruit flies, and more fruit flies flying everywhere near us cause the door was propped open. We were then seated against the counter next to the fake plants and counter which clearly also hadn't been cleaned in a while (most dust that could potentially fall into my food since the plant hangs over the table). I order pad thai and asked for green onions to be put on the side and was declined. I wasn't asking for any substitutions or extra onions, just simply to put on the side so my husband can eat them instead. Simply "no." I asked why and met again with "we don't do that". Fine. The portion was way smaller for the price and compared to other restaurants. I was given black utensils but you can clearly see they had just rinsed the spoon. I came around the opening time for dinner, and there were already patrons getting to go orders, but my family and I were among the first ones to be seated for dinner. As for the food, we ordered everything spicy, but it tasted like no spice was added whatsoever. Even the chili peppers had no spice to them, so if you like spice, ask for extra extra extra spice. - Tom Yum with Shrimp: Shrimp was great, very fresh and had a good crunch to it. The soup itself had a nice balance of flavor, and like I said previously, despite all of the chili peppers in the soup, there was no spice at all. - Pad Seew with Chicken: Probably the BIGGEST disappointment of all. The pad seew was so bland, as if they were missing the sauce all together. It didn't really even taste like pad seew. I do appreciate the veggies having a nice crunch to it, but damn, overall, a skip. - Crispy Rice Salad: Probably my favorite of the night, great flavor and I love the crunch of the rice. - Catfish: Salty, which definitely contrasted to the salt levels in other dishes, but tastes good with rice. Well coated in sauce. - Roasted Duck Curry: Pretty good, good amount of duck in there. There was lychee in here, which I thought was a good addition, nice touch of sweetness. As for the service, started out good, but didn't end great. I had asked for boxes to go, and I initially calculated 5 boxes in my head so I had asked one of the girls for 5 boxes. Her reaction: "5????" with her eyes wide. I had to then go through each dish I wanted to take home with her for her to agree to get the boxes for me, which ended up being 3 at first. Chicken satay ($12 ) - This comes with 4 skewers of tender pieces of marinated chicken. It tasted amazing and paired nicely with the peanut dipping sauce and a cucumber chutney. Pad Thai ($14) - This was a hit with my group. Stir fried thin rice noodles with egg, bean sprouts, green onion, a home made sauce, and roasted peanuts round out this dish. My favorite street style Thai food spot in the OC. There is indoor and outdoor seating offered. The service is super quick and great. All staff members are willing to check in on you. As for the selection, it offers all traditional Thai dishes such as fried rices, Tom yum soup, curries , pad Thai, pad see ew, chicken satay and many more. There's spice levels up to level 5 and can always add additional chili oil for extra spice. Love the option of adding fried eggs to any dish. My favorite fried rice is definitely the Tom yum and also the crab fried rice. The mango sticky rice is by far the best I've had vs anywhere else.
