    1st Birthday Cake
    Myurell L.

I found Siblings Bakery on yelp and instantly loved the customer service experience. I messaged back and forth with the baker, we shared creative ideas together and she brought my Pinterest ideas to life. My daughter's first birthday cake and cupcakes were not only BEAUTIFUL but delicious. No cupcake was left over and the cake was marble with a chocolate ganache. Absolutely delicious!

Dee did the cake for my husband's 50th. Carrot cake with buttercream. It was beautiful and tasty, super moist.

Had a great experience with siblings bakery! Upon requesting a cake for my friends birthday via their website, I was promptly reached to establish the cake that I wanted. I was even able to have the cake done within 3 days! I showed an inspiration picture and the cake below is an exact replica! The red velvet cake is delicious, and so was the icing. Customer service was delightful, prompt, and cake was reasonably priced. Will definitely be ordering cakes from here again.

Dee was so fast and responsive, and did the most amazing job with our vintage styled wedding cake!! I showed her a picture and she ran with it! Plus, the flavor was soooo good and moist!! We loved it so much we ended up eating half of the cake the week after the wedding!! lol!

In the interest of full disclosure, I love me some bakeries. Anywhere, day or night, I am there. So, when I found myself right next to Siblings Bakery I knew this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Firstly, this business provides great customer service. Great, friendly service. But, there was a language barrier it seems, as I asked about one of their lemon breads (I thought) and she brought out a lemon cupcake instead. I didn't want to be rude so I just took the cupcake, but it wasn't what I wanted. I don't think it was flavored correctly. I mean, there was yellow frosting and I tasted only a faint hint of lemon, nothing more. It was more of a vanilla/yellow cupcake with a dash of lemon. Personally, I love my lemon bakery items to be VERY flavorful, and sadly this missed the mark. The cupcake was very dry, too. I also ordered a lemon bar, because what else would I order, right? :) I experienced the same thing, "Where is the lemon flavor?" Again, there wasn't any. I took a few bites of the bar and ended up throwing it away because it didn't have any taste. There was even less lemon flavor in the bar, if you can believe that. Pretty bummed overall. I love to support small businesses whenever possible, and who knows, maybe their chocolate or vanilla items would be amazing! I just don't know. I would recommend but only sharing my experience with their lemon items. Thanks for the great service though!

Had a cake made for my husband birthday and he absolutely loved it! We also loved the taste of the cake. Everyone kept asking where got it made. I can't wait to order another one for our next occasion.

Great experience! Dee was very communicative. She took an inspiration photo I gave her and understood the assignment!! Loved how it turned out. Everyone at the party also loved it. Thanks Dee!

This is my third cake from Siblings. Omg... if I were Paul Hollywood, I'd give Dee a Hollywood handshake. I am not however Paul Hollywood, and so instead I'll give her this Yelp review. 1) This cake looks exactly how I wanted it to. My daughters 3rd bday. Dee also made her first bday cake, so I have a very special association with her cakes. She does a great job of using the inspiration photos I send and bringing it to life with her own flare. 2)The flavor, the filling and the icing... it's the best. Every single person at our party said "OMG! It's sooo good! Where did you get the cake??" 3) the service. Dee is incredibly responsive. I always know she is going to tell me like it is (example, I wanted some American flag cupcakes a couple years ago, and it was last minute and it was a no.) I appreciate the straightness. When she is fully booked, she is fully booked! So my advice to you is, get your order in early!

Wow, it pains me to do this because I am not in a position of trying to ruin someone's business, but I did not like this place at all. The woman who waited on us was VERY kind and even gave us free samples, but I didn't like anything I tried. She's trying to make a living, and I certainly can't fault her for that. Here's the thing, though, her bakery items tasted amateurish. Nothing spectacular, and in fact, just very blah to me. The brownie, which I consider to be my favorite bakery item, was completely undercooked, total mush inside. At the risk of sounding gross, I had to spit it out, it was so underdone. The orange cupcake, yes, it had orange flavored icing, but nothing about it was inspired. I only took one bite. The zucchini and marble bread, again, boring, and only one bite each. The cranberry bar was also a miss. It was almost as if she had some missing ingredients, which would make the flavors pop, come alive. I don't know, this just didn't work for me, and not that I need to be eating any bakery items, but it'd be nice if we had "go-to" places when I don't feel like doing my own baking. To whoever owns this bakery, if you read this, I'm sorry if I insulted you, but I also can't lie about what I tried. I wish you luck in your endeavors, and at least, I thank you for your kindness.

Everyday i think about how delicious our wedding cake was best chocolate cake I've had in my life

    Golf-themed Birthday Cake

The golf-themed red velvet cake Dee made for my husband's 60th birthday looked fabulous and was delicious. The buttercream frosting was not too thick and was super tasty. My husband loved it and he's very picky about the cakes he likes because he prefer pies. Dee was also very responsive and made the cake with only a few days notice. Our group was from out of town and renting an Airbnb and none of our party was arriving during a time when the bakery was open, but Dee made special arrangements to allow us to pick-up the cake late Sunday afternoon. Very sweet of her to go above and beyond. I highly recommend Sibling's Bakery for your cake needs!

Dee is a delight to work with. I reached out to her to have a cake made for my son and his girl friend getting their doctorate degrees. Hers is in animal behavior and his in biological engineering. Hence one tier of the cake was puppies and the bottom tier was microbes. I had inspiration pictures I shared and Dee replicated it and it was even better than I imagined! We were all so thrilled and happy!! The cake tasted moist and delicious. Top tier was orange and chocolate ganache and bottom tier was pistachio and raspberry filling! The price was very reasonable considering how much detail was put into the cake! I 100% recommend siblings bakery!

Best experience ever! My mom sent Dee an inspo picture for my 40th birthday cake and with only 2 days notice she created the most amazing cake ever. Not only was it beautiful but the red velvet flavor was super delicious. Thank you Dee for making my 40th birthday extra special :)

Every pastry here is crafted with care and it shows in every bite. And the mocha coffee? That alone is worth the trip. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, it pairs beautifully with anything in the pastry case. I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. I think their passionfruit pastry will be calling my name next time. Lastly I leave you with a Fun fact: if you're a football fan or into chess, this is your cafe. Chess tables are available for playing at and it's the perfect morning spot to catch matches over coffee and pastries. Liverpool fans especially welcome here ;) Sorry it took me so long to find this spot but they've got a new fan now!

I found Cake and Love, saw the reviews and thought "why not?" I love supporting local small businesses. I knew the designs weren't up to par compared to other places, however I read that the cakes tasted really good. My friend Marc ordered them and requested 4 cupcakes but the owner said she could only do a dozen. The design requested for the cupcakes was to write the name on 4 and the rest with birthday + Halloween designs. And he ordered four different flavors. She had a week to prepare and offered to drop them off. Not only was she an hour late, but she practically rushed off without giving us a chance to look at the cupcakes to check them. You can only imagine our disappointment when we opened the box. It looked absolutely terrible, rushed and as if a child decorated these. These cupcakes were for an adult. The taste was just ok too. The chocolate cakes were mushy, the red velvet were dry and the other two were 'eh.' It was too late to find something else so we sucked it up and used them to sing happy birthday anyway. Regardless if there was any mis-communication, this is not acceptable. And I feel that we deserve a refund.
