Good food and service! Dishes come quickly as well and very nice spicy flavor. Cool presentation.

Decent spot for Chinese food in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area! We ordered the Chongqing hot chicken, maoxuewang, eggplant with garlic sauce, and the shredded pork. The Chongqing hot chicken was by far the best item we tried so nice and comforting. The maoxuewang was good but was lacking in the amount of pig intestine which was disappointing. The eggplant was good but a tad too sweet for my liking. Finally I would skip the shredded pork next time.

Fast service. No wait. Very casual. Delicious food! Glad I don't have to drive to Portland for good tasting food.

We ordered from DoorDash and the Chinese food was much better than I was expecting. I actually loved all of it but my favorite was the crispy chicken and fried rice. I am definitely going to order again. The crispy chicken isn't spicy at all and flavored perfectly, the only thing is I think there was a little too much of the chili pieces in there which you almost got in every bite. The fried rice was so delicious I wanted to keep eating more. It was some of the better fried rice if had in the Portland area. Although the broccoli beef doesn't look like much it was still very delicious with tender slices of beef that were easy to eat and the broccoli wasn't too soft or hard which made it perfect.

Always looking for a good Szechuan restaurant but did not find it tonight. In fact, this place is a step down from Panda Express. We ordered egg drop soup, crispy noodle with chicken and something they refer to as Mandarin Crispy Chicken. The crispy noodle was a birds nest of noodles that requires you to mix with some chicken style soup mix. Not crispy and not much flavor. The Mandarin Crispy Chicken was not crispy and required us to pour a sauce over it which made the texture gummy, gross! The egg flower/drop soup was ok and kept this review from only getting 2 stars. Outrageously expensive for poor quality. Don't think there will be a second chance.

It was a great experience! The food here is well-seasoned and delicious! The portion is also good for the price. Definitely recommend! My favorite is the hand shaven noodles.

Very authentic Sichuan food! So good and so spicy :) highly recommended for Chinese food fan!!!

Large portions. Food is one the above average side. Szechuan tastes were not so strong, more white pepper powder taste. Beef was a bit chewy. But service was good. Has large round table for big family meals.

3.5 stars. Some pretty interesting flavors. Orange chicken came with sauce on the side so it didn't get soggy, so I appreciate that! The sauce was more of a sweet and sour and they added oranges to the sauce. Wasn't bad just different, I was craving orange chicken or I would have ordered sweet n sour chicken. Salty pepper shrimp were pretty tasty and the lid was vented to keep their crispy texture. The beef and broccoli were ok, the meat had a super weird texture but the flavor was ok. Chow mein and fried rice were good. Our carry-out order was ready on time and everything was still piping hot when we got home. The parking lot is tiny and the restaurant is fairly big inside. The Salty Pepper Shrimp and Mongolian Beef were packed with flavor. We'll definitely order from them again!

Looking for huge flavorful portion sizes? Try this place. It's literally a hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant, I've probably driven by it atleast 100 times and the many empty booths tell me lots of others are also not realizing what they're missing out on! Even for a weeknight dinner there were 3 tables in use at a given time, and only one server but zero wait time, and food came steaming hot very quickly after ordering. I appreciated the quiet, as baby could sleep in the stroller and we could focus on our food. Definitely beware of lots of peppercorn in the food, but that's a unique star of Szechuan cuisine! My favorite is the jelly noodles, and the garlic eggplant was perfect to soothe the numb tongue after all the spices!

Love this place especially their generous portion of weekday lunch specials. Place is not the prettiest but decent and clean. Service is attentive. Food serves quickly. I would highly recommend this place. On the table there is a sign, saying if you leave them a review on Yelp you will get a free thai tea... But that QR code sends you to review another restaurant of the same name in Tennessee!! I feel sorry for the owner and I have notified that restaurant staffs a couple of times, but seems like nobody cares about it....

Szechuan food is my all time favorite food and having this place so close to my home is an honor. The variety of options and that spice put this place over the top. Try the Chong Qing chicken, Honey Walnut prawns and the green beans! The combination hand shaved noodles too. 10/10 hits every time.

I walked in excited, but I can't say that I felt the same way walking out. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with this self serve hot pot. Let me walk you through my experience. I walked into a nearly empty restaurant and was greeted promptly. I was excited to see that the place was clean, well decorated, and had a simple drink, appetizer, and broth menu on the TV screens. I mentioned to the host that it was our first time here and that we would need some instructions. He just pointed out that the bowls are here, get your ingredients there, and pay over there. I was expecting a warmer welcome than that, but oh well, I dismissed it since I'm aware of the structure and he was young. The ingredients were neatly placed in containers that were well maintained. They seemed to be kept up with the supply and demand. However, I can easily see the cross contamination between raw meats and vegetables because there weren't additional tongs available to keep the ingredients separated, except for the one tong I was holding. Since all the food will be cooked together, I guess it would be fine...? We walked back and forth multiple times around the ingredients, not because there were too many to choose from, but because there was not enough variety. I was hoping there would be more noodles or more Asian green veggies to pick from, instead of broccoli, lettuce, or cauliflower. I do not feel like there was anything exciting or unique about their ingredients for me to rave about. Once we were done adding ingredients to our bowl, we went up to the register to weigh our food. It was $14.99 per pound for the first 5 soup flavors which were Classic Ma La Tang, Beef Bone, Rich Tomato, Mushroom, and Spicy Szechuan Dry Mix, and $16.99 for the Hot and Spicy Szechuan Dry Pot. I picked my broth and paid, then sat down and waited for my meal. Food did not take long for them to bring out; however, my soup did not come out hot. Was I expecting it to be boiling hot? No. But hot enough for all my food to be cooked well so I don't get sick. If you want a comparison, if you have ever eaten pho at a restaurant, the soup is hot. Well, my soup at Big Hey Hot Pot was not as hot as the pho soup. One thing that I was happy about was the sauce bar. They had everything you can imagine, such as sesame sauce, soy sauce, spicy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, onion, chopped green onion, cilantro, and peanuts. This sauce bar was unlimited and did not count towards your weight. I went back multiple times to get more sauce. Overall, this was not as satisfying as I thought it would be. I wish I had better service, more variety of ingredients to pick from, and hotter soup. Plenty of parking. Cards accepted. I will not be back.
