Always an enjoyable meal here! The quality service and the food are always consistent . Sat outside with another couple - plenty of fans and shade for SoFlo. Our server , Kylie ,was outstanding!! What an excellent ambassador for the restaurant- quickly took care of our drink orders , appetizers, and was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. Good Negroni (generous serving ) and the shared Sicilian Salad- started off the meal properly. Our party shared the Pistachio Pesto Pasta , Joey D. (cheese pizza with sliced meatballs, ricotta cheese, with shaved parmesan) and Truffle Risotto (perfectly prepared - not clumpy). Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Sicilian Oven in Delray Beach tonight . Living in South Florida since 2019 and this was our first visit. We enjoyed the Sicilian Signature Salad, the Sicilian Stack, and a pizza with fresh tomatoes and spinach. The food was well prepared and we throughly enjoyed every bite. The service was amazing and the manager came up to us afterwards since he had heard we were first-timers and he treated us very well he handed us a card to receive a free dessert upon our next visit.. I recently went with my father to Sicilian Oven for a late lunch (around 3 pm). Because of the time, there were not many patrons there. The inside of Sicilian Oven was quaint and we were quickly greeted and shown to a table. A friendly waitress brought us menus, took our drink orders and gave us time to peruse the menu. Sicilian Oven has a wide selection of pizzas including a large number of specialty pizzas. After looking for a few minutes, we ordered a large Blanco (white) pizza. There are lots of very average pizza places around Palm Beach. This is not one of them. When the pizza came out it looked and smelled delicious. This pizza has a generous helping of multiple cheeses such as shaved parmesan, grated Romano, mozzarella and ricotta. It tasted as good as it looked and smelled. The cheeses were all fresh and extremely tasty. The thin crust was just crispy enough to have a little crunch but not too much like it was burnt. This was one delicious pizza. Later on, our waitress gave us a pro-tip to next time try the Popeye as it is the same as the Blanco but with spinach and mushrooms. We'll definitely be back to try it and other pizzas! Sicilian Oven rates an easy 4 stars for its service and the deliciousness of its pizza. I would consider increasing the rating to 5 stars but I would want to come back during regular lunch or dinner times to see what the experience is like. I can't even give them one star. They were rude when we arrived and though we called ahead at 4 pm, when we arrived, they told us they would have a table in minutes. We waited 30 minutes when they told us it would be another30. They kept putting us off When we finally got seated it was another 20 min until someone came to the table. Friendly and efficient server Michael could not have done anything more to please us. We were impressed with the quality of our dishes and the reasonable prices. We ordered two dinner sized salads, takeout for a Superbowl party. Together we figured that for $40 there'd be enough for 10 people. It was barely enough for 8 because everybody who had some took very little. The salads at this restaurant are good but for $40 I can make a much larger salad, and my dressing is as good if not better. So in the end maybe this is not unreasonable for a restaurant. I love this spot! I've been a couple times to meet up with girl friends that live out west. We always hit the bar happy hour which goes to 7. I always get Tito's for $6 a pop and a couple apps. Got the rice ball and bruschetta which were $5 each. After we get our drink on we grab a table to hear one another better and catch up on the latest events. The Sicilian salad is a must every time! The pizzas are wood fire cooked and delicious. So we'll split a large pie and try something different each time. Yesterday we got the Joey D with meatballs and ricotta and it was superb! I truly try to avoid leaving a bad review but this one had to be done as it involves my disabled father. We came in on Saturday night as a party of four. It was busy, but there was an empty five top and room to sit at the bar. My father has dementia and can barely walk. The host, who was a male (and I believe a manager of the store) was extremely unpleasant, and told us we had to wait. Which is perfectly fine, however there was nowhere to sit, and my father cannot stand for more than a minute or two. We asked for a chair and the host begrudgingly/angrily gave it to us from the five top that he could've easily sat us at. He refused to see us there because we were a party of four. There was no wait. They did not ask us if we had a reservation and we are in their system as we have been to that location in the Boca location many times. The host then berated my father and husband for parking with a handicap sticker in the 10 minute parking spot in front, which was merely temporary because my father could not walk. He denied us service and caused a big scene. It was very upsetting as we really enjoy eating there because it is close by. I was truly appalled at how they would treat a disabled person, especially in the area in which this is located, which is surrounded by elderly people. read more

I have been here a few times and let me tell you, I am the biggest Sicilian Oven fan! I was so pumped that Delray finally got their own location. The plaza is rather new, and this spot is perfect. I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating and a huge bar! When you sit at the bar, the doors behind you go up all the way, so there is a nice breeze. The staff here is exceptional! We have never had a bad server or experience. The menu is quite extensive, so there really is something for everyone. This place has a fabulous happy hour menu, so I highly recommend experiencing that. We got so many great appetizers on a deal. The rice balls are delicious as well as the bruschetta! Their pasta fagioli is one of my absolute favorites. It is always piping hot and flavorful! The mussels on happy our is definitely a must! It is such a big portion for only $7! Make sure you order a side of crustini, so you can dip them in the sauce. We like to try a different pizza each time we go, and we are almost through the whole menu! We are fans of Sicilian Oven and have enjoyed most often their Pompano Beach/Lighthouse Point location. But we've also eaten at their Coral Springs, Boca Raton and Aventura restaurants, as well. When I read about their opening a location a bit further north in Delray, I had to bookmark it. This is a much closer spot to our friends in Lake Worth. The restaurant here has only been open for about three weeks. The restaurant itself is a brand new spot in a not fully occupied yet strip of stores just to the east of the Joseph's market and connected restaurants, etc. The menu here is similar to their other locations. We sat at the bar and got to chat with Kenny who gave us excellent service. We ordered our favorite -- their small Sicilian salad without onions. We added Gorgonzola cheese to it, as well. I love the mix of romaine lettuce, walnuts, roasted peppers, chick peas, tomatoes, olives, and shaved Parmesan. Every bite is different. The small salad is plenty for two people. I even brought some salad home. In addition, we shared an order of meatballs. It had sauce on top of the two large round ones along with a dollop of creamy ricotta and a touch of pesto. Very filling. This is a go to of my mothers when she has company over. There's something for everyone - a delicious salad, pizza, chicken wings and more to choose from! The only issue is that the salad had walnuts in it and my son has a tree nut allergy. Grandma forgot and he was throwing up his dinner a few minutes after finishing (eek), but he enjoyed the meal so much that he asked for more (sans salad) as soon as he felt better! I was with my parents who insisted on ordering the cauliflower crust on both. I wasn't a fan. It was like eating a pizza on a cracker. Not my thing. I haven't had everything on the menu, but I can give 10/10s for the Sicilian salad, meatballs and meatball sandwich, pollo prizzi, and pasta fagioli. Bolognese was 8/10 yesterday, but before wasn't as great. We also did a Bianca pizza with prosciutto and arugula added, which was a 8/10. Vodka sauce pasta was not my favorite, but I would get it with prosciutto. I'd give it a 7/10 though, but I'm picky about where I like vodka sauce and bolognese. This place overall is my favorite go to restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly always. Catered for about 35 and the food was gone so fast. Luigi is an excellent manager. read more
