Service was impeccable. Alyssa was an excellent server. Table of 5, delicious food and drink. Our table enjoyed the steam mussels, the chopped and seasonal salad. Entrees included the 18 oz ribeye, chicken parm, 8pz filet and seafood with pesto cream sauce. The garlic mash is good and I had delicious Brussels sprouts. Cocktails and wine selection were great. The desserts were good including tiramisu, pistachio gelato, a key lime brûlée but the star was a strawberry cheesecake with crumbles. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is relaxing and beautiful. Everyone from the hostess , table runners and servers were friendly with smiling faces. We were eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant for a coupe of reasons! First, we really enjoy the others restaurants in this franchise and second, it gives us another opportunity to dine in Falmouth. The food was amazing. Wayne had Cacio et Pepe, which is a brave dish to tackle. Get it wrong and you have a goopy mess of congealed cheese and pasta. This was perfect. And the addition of crushed pistachios was genius. I went basic and had the carbonara. A less challenging dish, but perfectly executed and very good. The portion sizes were just right. Our server Josh recommended a reasonably priced primativo, and it was spot on. Josh was one of the best servers I've seen in a long time. (I don't tip 30% very often.) We will definitely be back. Price points? Very reasonable, given the quality of the food and the amazing setting. This is a date-night kind of place. ONE ISSUE- Not food related, but important. We've been unable to make reservations, likely reflective of the lack of staffing. There are issues with call-backs, inconsistencies etc. that don't seem to fit with their brand. read more

This review is for brunch only. I have not had dinner here but stopped in for brunch last Sunday. To start the inside is so beautiful. They have a long bar and an open airy feel. They even had live jazz music and a singer the day we were there for brunch. The brunch food was okay, I just got a traditional breakfast and it wasn't bad. Thank you for such a nice dinner last evening. We had the shrimp cocktail that came ice cold as you would expect. Each shrimp was dry so that when you dipped it in the sauce, the sauce actually clings to the shrimp. A minor but important point. Also had the lobster bisque which was one of the best in all of Maine. The chicken limom was very good starting with how hot the meal came and stayed hot to the finish. Also had the bistro filet with red demi glaze. Tried to go for dessert but was way too full. Service was excellent and we thank you for that. Was here this past Saturday for a friends birthday dinner and had the best time! Aiden, our server, was fantastic! He was friendly, helpful, patient, and ensured our experience was top notch. We started with an order of pork belly, calamari, focaccia, and the whipped goat cheese and it was all fantastic. With plenty of drink options, everyone at our table was pleased. I was most excited to see their options for mocktails and N/A wine on the list. Our entrees were all fantastic with only one out of our party of six needing a box! And don't even get me started on dessert... order the Blackout Chocolate Cake!! You will NOT be disappointed. While I enjoyed their maple creme brulee, the cake really stole the show. Now, lets talk about the space. As it was my first time visiting, I was uncertain as to what to expect, so much in fact that as we drove by the building I stated "how unique and beautiful" the space was, only to realize it was the restaurant where we were going. The bathrooms are private with sinks and mirrors external in the hallway. Decor is grand and exquisite. Looking forward to coming back to this restaurant. The varied seating we have experienced when dining has offered great options in the setting and experience. Upstairs is quite relaxed and allows ambiance, warmth and focus on your party and the great food. I'm a Falmouth local and had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for some time now. Tonight I went there for the first time, told the hostess I would seat myself at the bar and proceeded to do so. There were 2 bartenders working the bar which was about half full. After sitting there for a few minutes, one of the bartenders handed me the menus but said not one word along the lines of 'hello' or 'welcome to the Sicilian Table'. I was then handed a glass of water a couple minutes later but still no greeting or acknowledgment from the server. As I stared at the menu rather frustrated at the lack of customer service, I finally received a 'how are you tonight' as she (bartender) seem to sense my displeasure while she mixed drinks in front of me for others. She then told me that she had one additional order to take and would then come back around for mine. Asking me what I would like to drink in the meantime seemed the customary thing to do but whatever. The bartender then proceeded to attend to a couple towards the middle of the bar, pouring them not one but 2 rounds of red wine and chatting with them as I sit with merely a glass of water. She continued chatting with the couple along with the other bartender. After nearly 15 minutes of waiting I exited the establishment due lack of service and went elsewhere. I expect a better dining experience and just courtesy at an establishment that presents such as this but it seems that isn't the case. I always recall the first job I had as a teen where I was told by management that employment stops if I ever failed to greet or acknowledge a customer as part of their experience. read more

Absolutely never again. We accidentally made reservations for this location instead of the Tuscan Table in South Portland. Tragic error. The staff were very nice, albeit slower than molasses. We arrived at 6:45 and didn't get out of there til almost 9pm. Some of that time was also due to the two of us not being able to leave the bathroom after the meal - if you catch my drift. A third (me) is currently battling with what the others left at the restaurant. The food was truly mediocre at best. The chicken Marsala (culprit) was incredibly salty, we ate the chicken and left the rest - inedible, and I can't imagine what would have happened if we consumed more of it. The Linguine was very spicy and floating in oil, I'll eat anything you put in front of me, but this was not it. I left nearly my entire meal behind. The birthday girl ordered veal parm, and it was shoe leather. Honestly, so tough she had a tough time chewing it. This is not what a $300 meal should look or taste like. The space is gorgeous, decor impeccable - has some phenomenal potential, but when the rubber meets the road a restaurant isn't decor - it's about the food, and that food should taste great and not leave patrons heaving in the bathrooms. Looking at my GPS, I totally thought this was located in the same strip mall as Shaw's. I was surprised to find it in an office building in the parking lot. The large signage in the front of the building can only be seen looking from Route 1. Once we found it, I was totally WOWED from the minute we entered the property. The outside patio with the glass walls, elegant hanging lamps, and beautiful seating are absolutely stunning. The jaw-dropping interior design doesn't stop once you're inside. This place is absolutely gorgeous! I can't say enough about the ambiance! Our waiter was delightful. He was at the top of his game, able to expand on the menu items and answer any questions we may had. Us being seated on the 2nd level didn't slow his hustle at all. We started with the arancini appetizer. This was one of the creamiest renditions I've had. The caprese pizza was big enough to share. The crust was the perfect thickness and texture in my opinion. The carbonara wasn't amazing, but still good. There was something a bit off with the seasoning, almost too salty. There was a generous amount of pancetta in it and the noodles were something I've never had before so that was fun. It was like a hollow spaghetti noddle. When you slurped it up, it felt strange, not in a bad way, but it made me chuckle. If I had half stars, I'd go with a 4.5. Stopped in for brunch. Food was fantastic. The wife had the crab Benedict and I had the breakfast gyro which included two types of sausage. We also shared a side of bacon. The food was high quality, large portions and cooked to perfection. The only reason for 4 stars was due to the service. After being seated we waited for about 20 minutes before our server realized we were her table. Once she did she was prompt and courteous, however, we realized after we left that she charged us for the crab scramble which was $8 more than what we ordered. Disappointing. I'm sure she was just having an off day but does anyone else find it's more and more common these days to experience subpar service? I guess chalk it up to the workforce shortage? We dined at the Sicilian Table for the first time this past weekend and expect we will be back many more times! They recently opened and are still working out some kinks but it's a great base to build upon. The aesthetic is lovely as to be expected with a keen eye for design at all their locations. I forgot we were in the "new building of the Shaws plaza in Falmouth" for almost the entirety of our meal! We had a reservation and we're seated right away. They were well staffed and we were seen to immediately. I heard good things about the meatballs so we ordered those to start. They were flavorful all around - my only complaint is maybe we could have gotten 4 instead of 3 for $17. There was a long wait in between our appetizers and meal - the server said there was a computer glitch. We didn't sweat it too much because we were having a kid free night out but I was skeptical about it being a computer glitch.... Ah well. The entrees finally came! My husband ordered the lamb Tagine which I neglected to take a photo of but can HIGHLY recommend. I will be ordering that next time. The lamb was soft and tender and the flavors were married perfectly. I got the carbonara which was fine but fell slightly flat from excellent for such a run of the mill Italian dish, flavor wise. Aside from the epic lamb tagine, the true rockstar of the meal was the blackout chocolate cake, WOW! I would order this again in a heartbeat. It was extremely moist and fudge like but still had that cake consistency one is looking for in a cake. The only thing I wanna know is the secret ingredient! All in all with the computer glitch our meal from start to finish was about 2 hrs between the appetizer, two entrees and 1 desert. Came for brunch, it was pretty nice! The interior is actually beautiful and the seating is unlike any place I've ever been. It's very nice for Falmouth and it's been a pleasure having it as an option. As a pescatarian it's sometimes hard for me to find food. I went for the only fish burger offered and honestly I didn't like it very much. Our waiter was kind, she even remade food my mom ordered as it wasn't cooked enough. I came here on a Wednesday in late December with family for dinner and we really enjoyed ourselves. Immediately upon entering I was struck by the beautiful interior. The outdoor seating looks gorgeous and I can't wait to sit there in warmer weather. The indoor lighting is so interesting and there are lots of different places to sit, from the bar to a raised platform on the first floor to the second floor which is really a loft looking out over the rest of the restaurant. I liked sitting upstairs because we had a view of nearly the entire restaurant. Some locations downstairs seem less desirable because the view out the window is just the parking lot. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food came out somewhat slowly, especially between the appetizers and our entrees. I didn't really mind because we were enjoying the atmosphere and conversation. But, it's worth mentioning. We ordered: - Sicilian wine: bright and tangy - focaccia bread: TASTY! crispy on the outside and very chewy on the inside. it was served warm with olive oil on the side and we all gobbled it up - fried calamari: TASTY! there was a yummy thin brown sauce drizzled on top and items fried in along with the calamari like lemon slices, peppers, olives, etc. we all loved it - halibut: TASTY! served with a thick red pepper sauce, black rice pilaf, and brussel sprouts - tenderloin: TASTY! cooked as requested. delicious mushroom risotto (maybe even TOO cheesy). yummy brussel sprouts. overall a nice garlic flavor. In general, come ready to enjoy the gorgeous atmosphere and be prepared to get BIG portions. I was very surprised by the subpar experience my wife and I had today. We have usually had good experiences. We sat at the bar today and the service was very poor (3/10 at best). We had two servers and neither were attentive or engaged at all. The service was nonexistent. One of the servers didn't even know of the menu change regarding one of their pizzas (the bee sting pizza was absent from the menu). This place is amazing!!! The Decor is beautiful! Clean unisex bathrooms with sharing hand soap and sinks separate from the bathroom it self! A very warm and welcoming place with good menu. Good selections of salads, proteins, and carbs. Good wine selections and mix drink and mocktails. Our server Ethan was fabulously friendly, quick and efficient. Icing on the cake is the prices! We were in town on vacation and some friends recommended this restaurant so we decided to try it. I really loved it! The ambiance is beautiful, and the food was delicious. We ended up eating at their beautiful bar, and Scotty was an excellent bartender mixing drinks and taking care of our food orders. Calamari was nicely done as was the Arancini. Highly recommend an order of the Foccacia bread! I ordered the Haddock and requested they serve it over their house made spaghetti instead of the fingerling potatoes. This is definitely in my top favorite restaurants in Maine, and it is my favorite of all of the sister restaurants it is linked to. I never have a bad meal here. My favorite things to order here are the focaccia board, the mussels, haddock, and the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque is absolutely amazing. I have struggled to find a lobster bisque in Maine that is a good balance of lobster meat/cream sherry, but this bisque is exactly what I've been looking for. Every meal I have had here has been delicious. The restaurant itself, designed by Nicola's Home, is very inviting and I truly enjoy being in the space. This is a beautiful restaurant and the ambiance is fine. But it's all about the kitchen. We've been here before and decided to return for live music night. We ordered a couple of happy hour items and the French fries are good. Main courses not so much. My vegetarian tagine was tasty but I'm not sure I'd order it again. My partners $27 chicken parmigiana came obviously burnt, overcooked and dry, and the pasta was a disaster - absolutely gummy. I would think an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant would be ashamed to serve it. I won't return even for the music. The owner has 4 other area restaurants. One is the Royal River Grill in Yarmouth which we have been to many times and the food there is consistently good. So I don't understand why they can't sort out the food at this location. read more

Have been 4 times so far...once with my family, and three times with my husband and I alone eating at the bar. The bar is very large...I didn't count the seats, but rough guess, at least 30-40 seats in a wave shape, which means we never have any trouble getting 2 seats. The bar seats are comfortable, cushioned and a foot rest, and there are hooks under the bar to hang your purse on which I alway prefer to hanging it on the back of the bar stool. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with wooden art fish sculptures hanging from the ceiling, nice lighting. There is a good view of the restaurant and a little bit of the kitchen from the bar since it is a multi level space...the bar is raised on the second level, and there are lower levels below. There are actually many spaces in the restaurant...dining tables on an several levels, as well as outdoor seating on a covered space, and outdoor patio seating (4 spaces that seat 8 people each) on couches around fire pits uncovered. It was a hot day so we decided to eat inside. The service at the bar is excellent. Expertly made cocktails, efficiently made and delivered, very attentive but not overly so. I tried the lemon cello martini- delicious! The food is very good. We tried the.whipped goat cheese with flat bread...the goat cheese was flavored with za'atar seasoning and drizzled with honey, and the flatbread was crispy and also had the za'atar seasoning. Very good. We love the bee sting pizza...have had it 3 times...a spicy pepperoni, medium crust, crispy, with a little bit of lightly spice peppers. Also had the linguine carbonara...I am a fan, however it was extremely cheesy...maybe a tiny bit too cheesy to the point the other flavor (pancetta) was overpowered. We didn't get the fries this time, but have in the past...definitely recommend those as a good bar snack! We will definitely go back, and will try sitting outside next time. read more

The risotto (which was the special and came highly recommended by the waiter) was very bland and the pork belly was dry and again, lacked flavor and seasoning on the sides. For such an expensive meal I expect the food to live up to the hype. Now, Royal River (sister company) was absolutely amazing, so maybe it was just an off night for Sicilian Table, but for the price it's just not worth trying again. We had an outstanding experience during our recent visit. Our server Latecia is an absolute gem! She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, as I'd recently had surgery and had a large cast on my arm. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.
