This is a small coffee cart, with seating, that is attached to the public safety center. Cheryl (the owner) is personable and provides wonderful customer service. They are open M-F 6 am-12 pm.

Always great coffee. Locally owned. Quality products. Consistent. The coffee monger is friendly, and knows coffee. Glad I found this stand.

The coffee good and strong. The owner is super nice. But the best thing of all is that the prices include tax so no surprises.

We came to forgotten bakery on June 20th around 11:00 a.m…read more We had seen that an event was going to be held on this date where a guest DJ, house is a feeling, was going to be playing while other activities were going to be happening at this bakery. AKA a drag queen walking around and serving a guava Spritz to individuals that were of age to drink and a little bit of trinket making if you wanted to do that. I will call out that if you have a large party it is difficult to find places to sit because there are not a lot of tables underneath the covered area. There's also two tables outside the fence but one of them does not have an umbrella so just being mindful of if it's a sunny day you're going to get hot. So I will be honest I came in a little skeptical about how the food was going to taste because a friend of mine had stated they had come to forgotten bakery about a year ago and he said that he was not very impressed with the food and drink options. I am happy to report that when we went everything was delicious with a capital D. The empanadas that we got: beef chilean, guava; were absolutely phenomenal. The crust of the empanada was perfectly golden brown, and the texture was firm enough where when you opened up the empanada that held its shape well and the feeling inside to not fall easily. Of all of them I would say my top pick in the topic of my husband was the Chilean empanada. We are a suckers for the combination of sweet and savory together and then having that buttery crust is brought everything together. Also the oat milk latte was yummy creaminess is the easiest way to describe it. It went down a little too easily which almost made me get another one but I am sensitive to caffeine and I told myself I'll just have to come back later and get another drink from them. Lastly it is definitely off the beaten path, but so worth the trip to check out this fabulous little place.

I think it makes the sandwich a lot less messy to eat. I also added the scallion cream cheese which was an extra $3 and definitely worth it. The only downside was the price. My sandwich came out to around $17 which feels pretty steep for breakfast. That said, it was delicious and I'd absolutely order it again. I also tried the pistachio cream cold brew latte. It wasn't bad, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me. I honestly don't remember much about the flavor so I'd probably skip it next time and stick with the sandwich. One tip: this place gets extremely busy, so I'd recommend ordering online ahead of time for pickup if you can. It'll save you a lot of waiting.

Good location too, but the tall white guy barista with glasses is disinterested at best and downright rude at worst. Interacted with him several times and there's never even a veneer of politeness. The last straw was when I told him something was wrong with my order and he just says "okay" then turns away. I didn't even want it remade I just wanted to make him aware, but like c'mon at least fake an apology? Don't work in the industry if you can't even manage to be halfway nice to people!! I'll continue to go to the Weatherstone location, everyone is always cool over there.

I've vowed in 2026 I was going to open myself up to trying new coffee shops as I'm historically just such a creature of habit and it's experiences like Old Soul that make that vow so great-I really enjoyed this place. As far as coffee goes, this is what we ordered.I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted-was kind of looking for something less sweet and minimal sugar,so went with just their plain cold brew($6.00).My daughter went with their Sea Salt and Honey Shaken Espresso drink.($6.75) My Cold Brew was good-though I will admit a little boring of an order when trying out a new place. My daughters drink though-WOWSERS!!!...It was so good-I was filled with instant regret that I didn't go more adventurous with my coffee order and I'd wished I had gotten that one instead-it was really great. In closing-I feel like I'm way late to the party but Old Soul is a really great coffee shop and it has skyrocketed up my coffee shop rankings in Sacramento and I truly can't wait to visit them again. They are doing great things out there-well done. PS-They are located on the corner of 34th and Broadway so parking is 100% street parking-but it's plentiful and really easy to find spots very close-so zero issues with parking here.

I would say the only thing I would like added is a confirmation the day before pickup letting me know the order was ready. But other than that the whole process was very smooth . The bakery itself is very cute and full of delicious looking treats. The staff was friendly as well. I ordered a carrot cake and it was so amazing! My sister loved it! It was very moist, spiced just right and had a lot of the cream cheese frosting that everyone loves! But it also wasn't extremely sweet which I appreciated. QUITE A FEW people at the party stated that they were not normally fans of carrot cake because of the big chunks of nuts and raisins in it...but RAVED about how they loved this carrot cake (it didn't have those things)! They were sad to find out that the bakery is in Sacramento (the party was in the East Bay). I would definitely order from them again and I highly recommend. Thank you Freeport Bakery!

Unfortunately I came 5 mins before closing and while there were people still there, I felt like I should rush because I'd want to get off work too. Rugulach (I know I butchered it) was Tasty! Got both the chocolate and the raisin walnut cinnamon. Prefer the raisin as the whole thing tasted less dry. Bd enjoyed the biscotti but next time I'll get him the one dipped in chocolate. The orange and raspberry cookie with the almond paste was lovely! Crumbly melty when you bite into it, nice texture and not too sweet. Pb chocolate chip was the most generic. Wouldn't get it again. Have yet to try the slice of salted caramel cake which was recommended to try at room temperature. I meant to order a chocolate cake because of their rave reviews! Next time!

Momma runs the café alongside her family, and you can taste the care that goes into every item. The pastries are outstanding. For lunch, we ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini, the Tri-Tip Chimichurri Sandwich, and the Tri-Tip Southwest Salad. Every dish was generously portioned, fresh, and packed with flavor. The specialty sandwiches and salads are definitely worth coming back for. They also serve Pete's Coffee and have a high-end espresso machine for anyone needing a quality caffeine fix.
