From service to sale, I always thought we were getting a deal. What they do is sell you a car they have fixed up enough, at least last till it's shop maintenance time and fix the problem again. Also they have a record of pushing a car out before doing a real full vehicle inspection. How do I know? I have bought and had my car maintenances here a lot. Sadly we learned after being scammed more than once on a used vehicle and regularly scheduled maintenance. I had invested so much either in repairs on one vehicle, or constant "oh we missed this" on my other car. The service shop sucks and is apparently full of incompetent mechanics and management of those staff. Sales department is your usual Shylock sales department staff in an auto business. My review originally because of all the courteousness and the a$$ kissing was a 5 but after pushing through the bull I found a proper review for this. If they ever changed I would change my review, but seeing that I won't return it's unlikely. read more

Last year I was on my way to Santa Rosa to purchase a used truck and just happened to Google dealerships on the way and stopped by. Bill was my introduction to the Silveria team and he was a big reason why after a couple of visits to dealerships in SR I returned. Through the whole process he was outstanding! I believe I also worked with Ron at the end of the deal and he added to the experience in positive way. Both told me how the Silveira family are about doing the right thing and taking care of customers, but I did not know how true this was until recently. I had taken my truck to a dealership where I live for a repair. They told me I would have to pay sixteen hundred dollars out of my pocket. I contacted warrantee company directly myself and same results of a denied claim. I then reached out to Silveira and got in touch with Donatella. Not only did she deliver with getting warrantee company to agree to cover repairs she contacted me even when she did not have all the answers just to let me know she was working on it... Our family used to only buy vehicles from a dealership in Ukiah, but the response time to calls and questions declined greatly. We decided to stop in at Silviera when looking for a new truck and were very pleased! We worked with Al to buy a new GMC Sierra and returned a year later to purchase a Suburban. We have gone back for all the maintenance and service on the vehicles and I have to tell you, they are FANTASTIC! We bought extended warranties on both vehicles, just to be safe. This week I had an issue that we thought was not covered by the warranty, but the service manager Casey made it happen. I am incredibly pleased with his help and how quickly they were able to do the repairs and get my vehicle back on the road! Highly recommend Al in the sales department and Casey in service! I don't like giving negative reviews of local, long standing businesses, but this one was all bad. If you would like details please contact me, but on top of being mislead, I just received the most condescending email that I've ever received in my life from the manager, explaining that pricing these days is 'scientific' and 'hard to undwearand''. Yes I'm a woman, but I know how car buying works and am not a moron as their 'service' in my case seems to assume. When you are buying a new vehicle - the last thing you need is pressure and bullshit. Silveira is family owned and operated, they want to earn your business and they wont take you in the room for that back and forth negotiation crap. I talked with their sales rep Al over the weekend and early the following week regarding the 2014 Silver 4x4 Suburban that was for sale. Al told me to fly up the next weekend and look at the vehicle once it cleared mechanical and detailing. I bought a plane ticket and already got pre-approved from my lender in anticipation of purchasing the vehicle for the coming weekend. Shockingly, I received a text from Al stating this morning that the vehicle was sold last night. Al did not have the decency to call me and apologize. A text only was received from Al. I invested time and energy on the plane ticket and getting pre-approved for this vehicle. I'm highly disappointed with their service and business! I was the first person to request pictures of the vehicle that were later posted online. My initial conversation with Al was how can I ensure that I have the first opportunity to purchase the vehicle. Al mentioned that the vehicle had to clear mechanical and detailing prior to sale. Had Al told me that I could also purchase the Suburban out-right, I would have done so as well. However, I was not allowed the opportunity. I am posting this review, after a very long search and dealing with other dealerships, I was able to find the truck I absolutely wanted, I made a phone call and spoke with a sales rep name Conner, I lived over 2 1/2 hours away so Conner and I got everything handled over the phone and it was literally just a matter of doing a test drive and signing papers. Other dealerships during this truck shortage, we're all trying to push me into a vehicle I did not want, when I found the truck I was looking for online. Conner did all the foot work give me all the information needed, and it was seamless from there on. The 2 1/2 hour drive was well worth the experience. We went to this dealership with the intention to buy a new 2020 vehicle and after waiting over 2 hours for them to finish the paperwork they told us to come back the following day. The next day we drove over (30 minute drive) and waited another hour and a half! And they still couldn't finish the paperwork. I had been searching for a SUV for some time now online and in person and got tired of dealerships over pricing vehicles and was ready to take a break. On my "final day" of searching I found a 2017 Tahoe @ Silveira Via Car Gurus, the Truck was listed much below market value but a little out of my budget. I contacted the dealership and began to work with Mitch. I explained my budget to Mitch and Mitch was honest with me that he couldn't make it happen by just a thousand dollars but STILL lowered the price so we both could find a happy medium. I explained to Mitch that I lived about 1.5 hours away and if I drove up to Healdsburg I needed the process to be smooth with no surprises. I drove up and he kept the promise on his end. The truck was waiting out front for me sparkling from the recent car wash. I went for a test drive and fell in love with the vehicle. We went back to the office and handled business. Shortly after I met with the finance department got a good deal on an extended warranty and left with a full take of gas. Everyone in the dealership was very professional & nice . I was highly disappointed after speaking with one of the salesmen over a month ago. I apologize for the belateness in this review. The guy (whom I won't name) should had worn the stereotypical white shoes because that was exactly what he was. He stated he worked at Saturn. He stated many things - but the bottom line was that we were treated like bums. We did not want a brand new car. We wanted a car that would last a few years. We were willing to put nearly $6K down which in my view SHOULD had given us a good selection to choose from but noooo - the prices were much too high and we were not worthy of Silveira's attention because we are not "classy". Anyway we went to another place and bought a 2012 Chevy from TRUCKMAX in Petaluma. No hassle, no fake promises or stories but real genuine honest to goodness people. Not a fancy office but a small clean area. Cars are in good shape and Kevin and Fred are ideal to talk with. Please beware. Perhaps they were great to go to but not anymore. You are ignored, you are looked down at, and you are not important if you do not get one of their over-priced vehicles. On Friday night I was on my way to Ft. Bragg I hit a curb in my new Buick Tour X. By the time I got to Ft. Brag my front tire was flat and the curb tore a piece of trim off the back. The next morning I called every place listed and no one had a tire that fit my car. Long story short I cut the side wall of the tire. I tried the fix it kit Buick puts in the trunk. No soap. Didn't work. So for the next day and a half. It was fill the tire with the little compressor Buick provided then drive ten miles before it went flat again. I did this seven time to get back to the dealership. All the time trying to call a rental agency for a car to get home. Now the good part. I get to the agency and Ryan meets me at the door with "you must be the guy who called". We exchanged greetings and he assessed the damage. I told him my sob story and he said "relax Ed we'll get you a loner. We got your back". Well so much pressure was taken off my shoulders I almost cried. These folks are the best. Tierney Muscatell finish up the paper work and I was on my way home. If it wasn't Ryan and Tierney I would have missed my dialysis and getting my daughter to work. God Bless this crew. I never write reviews but needed to share my horrific experience. I Traveled 4 hours to purchase a used 2015 Yukon that was advertised as great condition. I asked the salesperson if it had any major dents or dings inside or out and he reassured me that he went over it and it was in excellent condition. Showed up so excited to get my new car and the car was NOT as advertised. It had at least 3 major dents and the headlight had a chunk taken out of it and a huge scratch right through it. My wife's remote control for her GMC Dinali broke and fell apart so I want to The parts department here where are young man named Joel waited on me. I explain my problem and although he had no new parts on hand to fix my key Remote he did have some used parts. Joel then took about 10 minutes of his time and sorted through a pile of broken remotes until he found a part to fix mine. After fixing mine I ask him what I/O him and he said nothing, what a treat to have someone take time to solve my problem and not charge me. The Service department did something unthinkable. A few weeks ago I told my elderly friends that she had an Oil Pan leak (thought it was a pan gasket failure. She takes her car to Silviera Healdsburg, and they told her she needed a new WATER PUMP, NEW RADIATOR and they quoted her for the LABOR involved. She had a Drain Bolt Gasket failure which should take 5 minutes to fix and need $4.00 in parts but instead she walks out of there after maxing out her credit card to the tune of $1,138, and that's after the "Senior Discount" of $60 "-off" and after there generous offer to except the $20 off coupon she had. I am a weekend mechanic so I asked for proof that the Radiator leaked, I asked to see the crack or signs of past residue but I was told it was behind a nut in the plastic housing that it would eventually crack but there was no evidence of past leaks, and after some web research there was no evidence of future problems from other people. I asked to see evidence of the water pump failing and while I admit I'm not proficient in water pump mechanics the only "evidence" they had was some "residue" found inside the water pump that the "ceramic disc was failing." I didn't see or feel it, I've never heard of anything like that, neither has anyone else. You'd have to go looking for something to fix, you'd have to tear apart the engine compartment, crack that pump open to see anything, to come to the conclusion that it was going to fail and therefore needed to be replaced. I asked for the mechanics time sheet to see what the actual labor time was, they didn't have one. Everyone is DISGUSTED that they'd rip off an old lady just because she was concerned about the health of her car. To add insult to injury there was a great big scratch on the roof of her car when she got it back, they offered to "fix it for free," but they just took it to the back and buffed it, the scratch was so deep that it didn't do anything to fix it. Well I should first confess that I check MANY dealerships in Marin and Sonoma counties (including the auto rows in SR and Petaluma) before remembering that Healdsburg even had dealerships. I had spent an entire day bouncing around those "other places" and went home feeling discouraged and feeling like I needed a shower after navigating the hordes of "just buy it already" salespeople I encountered. So when I realized Healdsburg had a few dealerships I hadn't visited, I headed up the 101 to Silveira Buck before ending an otherwise frustrating day of car shopping. I walked onto the lot having a general idea of what I wanted. Something no more than a few years old, great MPGs (this was to be a work/commute car) and HOPEFULLY priced somewhat to all the car ads I see for East bay dealerships. So I start looking at cars and notice they have several of the Chevy Cruzes I had been looking at online. I also noticed that they were priced right around what I had seen at other Bay Area dealerships (maybe even a little less) for comparable mileage, year, etc. So I meet "Bill", who would ultimately be my salesperson. And here's the first thing I LOVED about this place. Your salesperson is your salesperson, start to finish. You don't get passed around to 2-3 different people in the process of purchasing your car. There is no slick talking "closer" that comes in when they feel you ready to buy. So Bill and I start talking about what I'm looking for and I express interest in the Cruzes. Talking to Bill wasn't like talking to a salesperson. Sure Bill's working and probably very good at his job, but it was like hanging out with your uncle on a lazy afternoon. Relaxed, friendly, joking and poking a little fun at the "typical" car buying experience. Instead of glancing at the cars and rushing off the lot before the pressure starts, I found myself comfortable and enjoying my conversation with Bill - why other dealerships don't understand this I'll never know, but the way I was being treated MADE ME WANT TO BUY A CAR THERE. And this from a person (me) who usually doesn't put a ton of weight on service when making purchases. So I test drive a car, love it and decide I want to buy it. Although I had a down payment, I needed financing and said I wanted to go through my own credit union. No problem said Bill. I filled out a short and very simple credit app and Bill had it run through my credit union. In about 10-15 minutes he was returning with an approval from my credit union but with a less than appealing interest rate. Now I've been with my credit union for 20 years but I do not have a "great" credit score. So I was not incredibly surprised by their high interest rate and was about to accept it when Bill says, "our finance guy is going to shop around and see if he can find you a better rate if you have a few minutes to wait". I was like "what"? I mean, they already had the sale, what do they care if I have a high interest rate? But that's the thing, they DO care. Bill said he wanted me to be happy with the purchase and how could I be happy with a rate that high? VERY TRUE! We sat and chatted about everything from cars to music and about a half hour later the finance guy (whom I could see on the phones, working on my finance rate search the WHOLE time) reports to Bill that they found me a better rate with a bank other than my Credit Union - better as in HALF the rate my credit union was offering. I was floored. I of course accepted the rate and a few minutes later I was signing papers with their finance Manager (and yes, Bill was still there with me). And btw, the Finance Manager, Kelly, was AWESOME. Very friendly, hilarious lady who made the scary paper signing seem like fun and even gave me some great finance tips. And just as I'm about to finish my paper work I realize I forgot my checkbook at home for my down payment. DAMN! And I was so looking forward to driving my new car home. "No problem" says Kelly, just bring it by tomorrow, you can still take the car home now. AWESOME! SO now it's a few days later, I'm the owner of a wonderful car that I got for an INCREDIBLE price and I was saved from an insulting interest rate by the good people at Silveira Buick GMC. Oh, oh, I almost forgot... while I was waiting for my interest rate to be determined, an older/grey haired gentlemen walked by the cubicle and said hello. He was a little 'western" looking, I assumed he was there shopping for a tractor or something! But I said hello and he shakes my hand and says "Jim Silveira, nice to meet you!" He hangs out for a few minutes, asks about the car I'm buying, thanks me for my business and went about his way. Try getting THAT in a dealership in Oakland! So there ya have it car shoppers. So this is the second issue I've had.... I called and asked them about a part for my headlight (I think it was the harness or something) because I had looked at parts stores and none of them carried them I went in and got the part that they ordered for me and decided to ask how much it would cost to put it on. They said that it would take about 1 1/2 hours and that it would be around $200! I decided to have a friend change it for me instead. It took my friend 15 minutes!! yes 15 minutes!! I don't know where they got the 1 1/2 hours from but I'm giving them 1 star because they ordered the part for me. RIDICULOUS! read more

After searching for a gently used truck for about 5weeks, I received a FB pop up for a truck from Silveira Buick. I called to inquire about it and spoke with Scottie. He answered my questions and I had a few more and he said he would get that information and get back to me. After about 30 minutes he called me with the answers to my question and I responded via text. We continued the correspondence via text which I greatly appreciate because I am a busy business owner. My husband and I opted to go see the truck the next day and it was out of town and a little bit of a drive in the rain. When we arrived, Scottie greeted us and was a genuinely nice person. He retrieved the truck and parked it in a dry area for us to inspect it. We took it for a test drive and I really liked it. My preference was to finance this vehicle. Scottie consulted with the finance people with us there to have my questions answered. Everything was very transparent. No back and forth between behind the scenes decision makers. Everybody was legit. Ryan brainstormed to be able to seal the deal and Kelli the finance manager was a pleasant straight shooter and shared a great chili dip recipe with us for Super Bowl Sunday. Over all it was a very pleasant vehicle purchase experience. Even my husband said he would go back and purchase another vehicle here.
