Good food, good service, cool atmosphere. When we found out Silver Diner isn't just a run of the mill chain diner we decided we had to check it out! Definitely worth our time.

We always love a trip to Silver Diner! The food and service are always great, and we love the vintage diner vibes. Prices are not bad either, and they have seasonal specials and discounts quite frequently. I love that there's variety in the menu - I highly recommend the peach pie for two when it comes in season!!

The 50s ambience is on point. Gosh I love it. As soon as I came to the door, I was met with the large black & white TV playing footage of early Beatles and felt happy. Several excellent Vegan options . I got the lentils w Brussels sprouts and a Veganized chunky monkey shake. Asher, our server, was helpful with our vegan order. YES: vegan friendly YES: kid friendly

Absolutely amazing food and service, amazing environments you, but it might just be me, because I like older stuff. The food was amazing, and so were the drinks, I ordered the bacon Blue Burger, because I like blue cheese, and the nutty banana milkshake of theirs with the nuts banana and salted caramel. I absolutely loved!( Might just be me though because I like salt and caramel). The environment was absolutely amazing! The waiter and service was great

This is a classic diner with extraordinary menu! They offer options for every food taste. This was great because we were a diverse groups with vegans and vegetarians as well. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. The diner was spotlessly clean and the service was prompt and professional. I ordered one of their burgers which was cooked to perfection. We all enjoyed our meals. They even offered vegan milkshakes. What a wonder spot!

Just walking in you knew you would be leaving full, content and happy (and ready for a mid morning nap)! The food was exactly what I was hoping for and actually expected. My buddy Mike had a Denver Omelette with Hash Browns and Rye Toast and I had a Cheddar Cheese, Mushroom and Bacon Omelette, also with Rye. I also got a side of Sausage Gravy for my Crispy Browns. Pure yummalishous! We all have our favorite "type" of Omelette and this was mine. Thin, not fluffy eggs, LOTS of fixins' and gooey melted cheese. FOOD/DRINK: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5…read moreAMBIANCE: 3/5 This place has a "seat yourself" policy, but it doesn't quite work. We sat for a good 10 minutes before someone noticed us and gave us menus. If these are the seating arrangements, then maybe it would be a good idea to have a QR code or menus at the tables to browse while we wait. We ordered our drinks and when I got my water, it was extremely "tappy" tasting, which I don't really expect from a place that has a bar. I ordered a sweet tea instead, which was perfect (not too sweet). We looked over the menu for a while and I decided on the golden barbeque chicken, while hubby got the chicken and waffles. Food took a really long time to come out (no fault of our waiter, he kept checking with the kitchen). We were here longer than an hour and it wasn't *too* busy. FOOD: -Golden Barbeque Chicken - half chicken with a dry rub and then bbq sauce and comes with corn on the cob and fries. This was really, really good. It was just what I wanted - and I couldn't even finish it! The fries were crisp. The chicken had just enough sauce and was juicy, but the breast was a tad dry...but even the corn on the cob had seasoning! Yum. -Chicken & Waffles - I only tried a bite of the waffle, which was soft & crisp at the same time. A perfect waffle. Hubby ate it all! Haven't tried dessert but they all sounded yummy. Maybe next time! Prices were really fair and "cheap" (not in a bad way, but lots of restaurants have raised their prices a lot and this one hasn't). Ambiance lacked since the lights were basically turned off and the paint was worn away where the chairs scraped it. When we were leaving, we noticed our waiter was the ONLY waiter AND he was managing the bar. I think the wait had to do with staff shortage and I felt bad for him. Note: We have been here once before a year ago (when there were Covid restrictions) where I had chicken tenders (I think) and hubby had the cheesesteak. Both were really good. A good local place to visit (and they're open late!!). We will definitely be back.

If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. Overall, Ted's Bulletin continues to deliver tasty breakfast food, dependable quality, and a family friendly experience that keeps us coming back. Easy 5 stars from me.

I went with the club sandwich--perfectly fine, but about as memorable as a meeting that could've been an email. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing that would ever bring me back for round two. The fries, on the other hand, showed up crispy and confident... easily the highlight of the plate. There are plenty of solid lunch options in the area, and in hindsight, I probably should've explored one of them instead. I did spot a grilled cheese that looked great walking by--but let's be honest, grilled cheese always looks like it has its life together. It wasn't crowded, service was fine, and nothing was outright bad--it just didn't deliver the kind of experience I've come to expect from Ted's. If I return, it'll be for breakfast, where they seem to know exactly what they're doing.

It's exactly what you'd expect from a Southern style dish in Charleston SC. Rich, comforting, and well executed. The crispy calamari appetizer was disappointing. Most of the pieces were tiny, which made them too small to dip into the sauce. It was also too salty. Cutting the salt by about 33% would help a lot. The worst part was the service. There was a long gap between our appetizer and entrees, and I could see our food sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. When our server Soledad passed by, I told her I noticed our entrees were ready and asked if we could get them. She seemed annoyed and told me I had to wait my turn because they execute tickets in order. The kitchen talent is clearly good, but they need to train their servers to have more grace under pressure.
