The Grande Exposition Hall is the concert / event venue of the Silver Legacy. I had a great experience at the Grande Exposition Hall. I had the pleasure of attending possibly one of Garbage's final acts in the US! It's a fairly small venue. The stage is not all that small in comparison to the venue. There isn't a really a bad seat in the house. I found the sound quality to be amazing! The live music wasn't unbearably loud, like some other places. I didn't need earplugs like I normally do. The staff is very efficient at what they do... No issues no dramas.

Silver Legacy is a Caesars casino and hotel property in Reno. I recently stayed here for a few nights on a work trip and though not a place I would consider "a must stay" I don't have too much to complain about. Self check in was relatively quick and I appreciate that more hotels are utilizing this feature, especially when lines are long at these types of hotels. Elevators were slow my entire stay, but what are you gonna do? Rooms are clean and a good size. The queen bed was very comfortable. The room had a little coffee maker that always ressurrects me in the mornings. The bathroom had a big mirror and lots of counter space. Best part of the room was the shower with big time shower pressure. For me, that's a huge plus! The property has a few Gordon Ramsay restaurants. We took advantage of his fish & chips concept and it was great for a quick meal. We had drinks at one of the nearby bars and I would say our experience was just okay. They needed a lot more people working there and we waited forever on both rounds of drinks. The property itself reads classic casino to me. Maybe a little outdated in certain parts, but I'll admit for someone like me who doesn't visit too many casinos, it's kind of charming. I wouldn't be running back here if I knew I was staying in Reno. Nothing personal, just think there are other properties that can offer a better overall experience!

An older hotel & casino located in the heart of Reno. My favorite band, Air Supply, was playing here & that is what brought me here, along with friends who were staying at the hotel. Very nice place with lots of food places to eat at. The showroom where the band held their concert is located downstairs & is an awesome venue. The acoustics & sound are amazing! There is also a separate area inside the venue for selling band merchandise. There is a large sculpture that goes from the ground to the ceiling, the top part being concealed from a dome. Everyone loves to look at it & take photos with it as their background. Even I did it! Overall, a good place to go & has a lot of celebrity history behind it, as evidenced by posters on the hallway walls upon entering from the valet area. They do have awesome valet service here as well.

Disappointing Experience at Silver Legacy Reno My stay at Silver Legacy Reno was unfortunately not what I would expect from a large casino hotel that's part of the Caesars chain. While the bed itself was pretty comfortable, the experience was overshadowed by several issues with the room. There was an active roof leak in both the bathroom and the main bedroom area. The leak in the bedroom was directly over my luggage, and several articles of my clothing were soaked. I placed them in a bag to bring home and wash, assuming they'd be fine. I notified the hotel right away so they could address the leak before it caused more damage to the room. When I spoke with the front desk, the only thing they offered was to return my deposit--which would have been returned to me anyway at checkout. I was expecting some form of actual compensation for the inconvenience, but none was offered. Once I returned home and washed my clothes, several items came out with spots that resembled bleach stains, likely from whatever leaked from the ceiling. I contacted the hotel again, and they told me there was nothing they could do because my booking was made through Expedia. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves how they handle situations like this, especially given the standards expected from a Caesars property.

One night downtown on a Monday so hotel and sports book both in the plan. Check in was the worst part of our stay. 4 people checking in and two staff behind the counter. 8 empty kiosks, being ignored. Then 10 people then 16. One person stepped out of line and asked a staff member for assistance with the kiosk. His check in was still several minutes. Still 15 in line. It was apparently the 3 o'clock rush. It wouldn't be so bad but as my wife pointed out 2 staffers were seemingly standing around doing nothing. Maybe they were but to a customer nope. Off to our room. Very nice! Clean and everything working as it should. Shower, sink AC, TV, lights and toilet. You'd be surprised how seldom everything works. Quite pleased. Now to sports book and football. Got a table and enjoyed the game. Plenty TVs for everyone to see all that was going on. Allowing smoking is the only thing I would change. A fun experience for both of us. I'll be back to visit my money soon! The night in the room was quiet and uneventful just the way we like it. We will return soon for sure.

We came up to Reno for a Concert at the Silver Legacy. Elvis Costello - fabulous show . Nice venue as well . We arrived a day early . Checked in very smoothly . Went up to our room on the 26th floor. Wonderful view of the mountains and surrounding casinos . Very comfortable room . We feel the room was very affordable for the 3 day stay ( Saturday-Tuesday) My husband and our friend enjoyed the pool area . We enjoyed our gaming in the casino . Good drinks as well . When come to Reno we always enjoy our stay at the Silver Legacy.

Best Hotel & Casino in Reno. Check in was awesome; kudos to Coleen F. She has done a phenomenal job in checking us in and check out.

Silver legacy is the only casino/hotel at the row that has a pool so I decided to stay here since it's summer. The pool area isn't too big but at the same time it wasn't too bad, maybe it's because I stayed during the weekday.

Negative - It smells like pee outside of the building. Positive - The staff are great, it connect to the to Cirus Circus and in the other side it connect to El Dorado. & Clean, Overall it's a solid 4

Rooms are updated and very clean. Only issue we had was the bed felt like a marshmallow with lumps.

Used needle found on the room floor

It's ironic that you have staff available on weekends to respond to Yelp reviews, but no one from risk management or management was available to address a serious safety issue during my stay. I reported this in person and through multiple channels, and not a single person could assist me before I left today. Your apology rings hollow when there's no action behind it. At this point, I've reported this to the health department, emailed Caesars corporate, and posted publicly because I'm still waiting for someone to take accountability. If this isn't resolved immediately, I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Silver Legacy is a place that is instantly recognizable around Reno, and has been an established place for years. But this is my first time actually staying here during a bit of a stay-cation. Right off the bat, I very much like the style and layout of this resort. The lobby is lovely, the gaming floors very well laid out, and the inside of the big dome never fails to impress me. Check-in was quite easy, especially using the self-check kiosks. Heading upstairs, I liked the room quite a bit, which was spotlessly clean, had decent decor, and a nice view out towards the mountains. Just make sure to close your curtains at night, or the giant green spotlights will keep you up. Room amenities are what you expect, too; coffee machine, TV, safe, fridge, etc. The rest of the resort also has all the bells and whistles you could want from this sort of hotel, especially when paired with the other two hotels of The Row. I especially like heading over to Hidden Pizza, across the sky bridge in El Dorado, if you want a late-night slice. It is also right in the heart of downtown, and thus close to things like the Riverwalk or Brewery District should you want to get out and about. One whole floor is devoted to the spa area, the gym, and the outdoor pool deck. This rooftop pool area was honestly a bit of a mixed bag. It was indeed quite a nice spot to hang around at. But the pool itself is quite small and shallow, and the hot tub is extremely tiny. The other drawback is the pool area is only open 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, which is a bit of a letdown in case you wanted to do a morning swim or soak in the hot tub later in the evening. I found the service from the staff to all be quite excellent all around; be it the check-in clerk, the cleaning crew, and the folks manning the stores and restaurants. The resort has both valet and self-parking, though you need to drive especially carefully in their garage as the parking spaces and driving lanes are quite narrow, and often larger pickups or SUVs stick out precipitously and become obstructions. As for price, we paid about $350 range, including taxes and fees, for our two nights. For the quality of stay we got, we were both quite pleased with it, though some of the restaurants and bars we felt could be a touch pricy. Though as we were booking, we noticed prices can go up significantly if there is some event going on in or around the time of big events in Reno. All in all, I very much enjoyed my stay at Silver Legacy, and would definitely recommend it as a spot for other visitors to Reno to consider.

I ordered a steak, but they brought me chicken instead. I clearly told the waitress I wanted steak. When I pointed out the mistake, another older employee insisted that what I was served was steak. I'm pretty sure I know the difference between chicken and steak. Fortunately, Teddy stepped in, listened to my concern, apologized, and had my order corrected. That is what great customer service looks like. Even our waitress suggested that I just eat the chicken, but guests should never be told to accept something they didn't order. The casino and the room itself were good, and I enjoyed those aspects of my stay. However, many of the staff members could benefit from additional customer service training. To corporate, management, the CEO, owner, or whoever is responsible: please invest in better customer service training. Your guests deserve a better experience. #CustomerService #Management #Hospitality #GuestExperience

From the moment I walked in, several employees greeted me with smiles as I made my way to the Players Club. At the Players Club, Michele was incredibly helpful and happy to reprint my players card. She also told me about the 25% buffet discount and explained how to print it from the kiosk. I tried finding the buffet on my own but couldn't locate it. I asked the security guard on duty for directions, and not only did he give me clear instructions, but he also personally escorted me to the escalators I needed to take upstairs. That level of customer service really stood out to me. Once upstairs, Ursula greeted me with a smile at the register and even joked about "ONLY having four hours left" in her shift when I asked how her day was going. I was seated right away, and my drink order was taken almost immediately by Hachib. Hachib was probably the most impressive waiter I've seen in a very long time. He was kind, polite, funny, and genuinely engaged with the guests. He even suggested a drink when he noticed I wasn't sure what I wanted. Watching him interact with the other guests around me, it was clear that he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in going above and beyond. The food was good, but the service I experienced was phenomenal. Because of the outstanding staff, I will definitely be coming back -- and often.

We stayed in the Sky Tower and had a nice view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There were some bits of noise at times out in the hallways but nothing too distracting. My only issues with the room was the loud noise from the AC/Heater, very firm beds that weren't the most comfortable and a sink that makes a gurgling sound after you run water. But overall it's very convenient because you have full access to the Row. The Midway is still as fun as it was when I enjoyed going back in the 90s. I carefully checked to see if there would be any additional fees, and none were mentioned. I saw the complete fee, which I agreed to and paid. A few days after my booking, I got an additional charge for two hefty "resort fees" which is a hidden charge that I never agreed to. I have been staying with Circus Circus Reno for many years, and this is the first time such an issue has occurred. Per FTC federal law: The total amount must be given to me at the time of booking and must include any "drip booking" or charges such as "resort fees." Such fees cannot be hidden, and they must be disclosed before payment. This was also agreed upon by PriceLine. When I called Circus Circus, they gave me the run-around and said their resort fees were mandatory and to contact Priceline if I had an issue. I know the hotel can easily refund me such a fee, but they chose not to. Beware if you stay here - they can just charge your credit card as they like, it seems.
