This is a prime rib that I asked to be chargrilled for just a second on each side. It was amazing!!!!

This is by far the best steakhouse in town. I have been to every one in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and have not found a better cut steak. I like a thick steak and here at William B's they give you what you want. The Prime rib is the best I have ever had. Just tell them how you like it and you will not be disappointed. Tell them Buck sent you!!!!

We decided to come here to celebrate my mother's birthday and it was a huge disappointment. The hostess didn't seem friendly as we arrive for our reservation. Our server was a smart ass when I had asked him if they still offer the lobster stuff filet and he said no, that they offered it 3 months ago and that their menus changes every month (with an attitude!). As if I knew that. It was our first time there and drove from an hour and half away. He was in a hurry and didn't even offered us a drink menu. He went straight to taking our order. We wanted the Rockefeller oysters as our appetizer but they were sold out therefore we got the crab cakes, fried stuff portobello mushroom, and shrimp remoulade. They were all delicious. As for the 4 steaks we order, mine came out fairly decent but the other 3 were well done when asked for medium well. The quality of the steak was bad. The a la carte items we ok, nothing that stood out. As we got done with our meal, no dessert was even offered. It seem as though they were short handed and was just ready to get people out of the restaurant versus letting us enjoy our dinner.

    Amazing food!!!

Fantastic experience. I dined here for an anniversary dinner and they were amazing! Champagne for our anniversary and even called us by name (based on our reservation). Seared tuna appetizer was superb and my meal was perfection. They even treated us to dessert for our special night. Perfect place. I will be here again!!

So good! Had the filet and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned! As Gratin Potatoes were delicious!! Even brought me cheesecake for my birthday!

Their host and waiters are very friendly, explained in details their daily specials. Very attentive service by Sam if I get his name correctly. Lobster was not chewy at all, it was tender and when I dipped in butter, reminds the lobster I got from City Island NY years ago. Host brought me to the table and he was very accommodating for my special request.

I had a barrel ages old fashioned. The bread was fresh and tasty. The menu has quite a variety...steak, chicken, seafood...something for everyone. We were going for steak. A filet was ordered and two of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye. From what I saw on other tables steak seems to be a favorite. The waitress came back and took salad orders, how we wanted the meat cooked plus another drink if needed. I ordered medium well. After a bit i order another old fashioned. The first one went smooth and good. Not too much ice, just the right amount of liquor. Chilled and good. The wedge salad comes out and it's covering the plate. Thousand island dressing plus real bacon bits. A nice touch. Just enough dressing. After a bit the ribeye arrives. It too covers a portion of then plate. it's a bit peppered but cooked right. The waitress asked us to cut into the meat to verify it was cooked right, they all were cooked as ordered. Truly a treat. The steak is gone, a little bread is left on the table, half the old fashioned is remaining. Definitely will return in the future if I'm in Shreveport. Between the service and quality of the food it's a must visit if you're in town.

Even the "bar wines by the glass" are good and the "pours" are generous. If you like red snapper, and who doesn't, their choices are all worth your time. The bread was warm and tasty. Bartenders Paige and Kelsey kept our wine glasses full and made our time there memorable. We split a strawberry cheesecake for desert - a huge piece, very good. Since we were there on a Saturday late afternoon, we listened to Randy entertain us at the piano - a very respectable performance! Thank you, all!!! Exceptional Service from Madison!…read more My experience at Superior Steakhouse (Pierremont) was absolutely top-tier, and our waitress Madison made it even better. From the moment we were seated, she was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Madison demonstrated strong product knowledge--she explained the menu clearly, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our meals were cooked exactly as ordered. She maintained consistent table presence without being intrusive, which shows true hospitality skill. Our drinks stayed filled, timing between courses was perfect, and she handled everything with confidence and grace. What stood out most was her positive attitude and attention to detail. She anticipated our needs before we had to ask and made us feel valued as guests. That level of service elevates the entire dining experience. If you visit Shreveport Superior Steakhouse, I highly recommend requesting Madison. She represents the standard of excellence you expect from a premier steakhouse!! Our waiter was Anthony, his greeting was extremely warm and friendly! With it being a Tuesday night and the restaurant closing at 10:00, we were among only a handful of other parties there at the time. Around 9:45-10:00 we ended up being the only couple in the dining area. Some waiters and waitresses were beginning/finishing up their closing duties. Which we did not mind at all! But Anthony make sure to apologize for it which was kind. We reassure him that we completely understood and that it was no bother to us. We made small talk with him, and ordered our food. Me and my husband, love to try new things at places, so typically we order a protein and several sides to share. We ended up going with the ribeye medium, and when Anthony realized that we would be sharing, he even had the chef slice it in half before bringing it out. Which I thought was extremely thoughtful! I also had a wedge salad, with ranch! Our sides consisted of the au gratin potatoes, crispy, Brussel, sprouts, and DRUM ROLL PLEASE.. creamed corn brûlés!!! if you haven't had it, you must tonight! I literally drank what was left of it, like a soup!! everything was prepared perfectly irregardless of the time of day! We finished eating about 10:15-10:20 and told Anthony we were ready for the check! He reassured us that there was no rush, but we wanted to be courteous of the time it was and when he offered dessert we politely declined. When he went to go gather our check and bought our food he came back out with an anniversary- dessert with literal fireworks I was not expecting it at all, especially considering them already being closed for the evening! It was so special and he truly added the perfect touch to cap off our evening together. Thank you to Superior and Anthony for being the truly Superior go-to in Shreveport Louisiana! It was a lovely evening!

The bar was open so we had a couple. Trivia was getting fired up and everyone was hungry so we left. Back on the following Wednesday we sat in the Continental Room, just off the bar to the left when you go into the establishment. I was thinking...it would be packed. The three of us were the only folks eating at around 6:30 pm. The waiter comes out, asks what we want to drink. Beer for two of us and wine for my boss. I scan the menu and there are a lot of choices in when it comes to steak. Two of ordered the ribeye and my boss ordered the filet. The dining room is small with several tables for a family, some dudes eating after work or a cool place for a date. Maybe a little dated but the service was very good. The waiter was on top of the drinks and the food. Salads came out almost immediately. I had the wedge salad with Italian dressing. Very fresh lettuce and not too much dressing. Everyone else was happy with their salads. I ordered another Yuengling (in a bottle-nothing on tap) and the steaks were out shortly thereafter. The meat covered a lot of the plate. I ordered medium well and it came a little under done but was still very good. Bang for the buck you can't do better. The au gratin potatoes were ok. I have never had potatoes like that before. I would try them again. The Cub itself has been there since 1939. Definitely a dive bar feel. Brick building, solid and well built. Definitely will try for a repeat if/when I'm back in Shreveport. If you're in town give them a try. Service in the Continental room is very good, food is of good quality and not too expensive.

The great news is that Ben still works here and you would do quite well to request him as your server. It was his recommendation to get crusted blue cheese over my ribeye and I've enjoyed it that way ever since. Since we decided to drop in last minute we had James as our server and he did a fine job for us. $50 for a ribeye. $11 for a wedge salad (yet even more blue cheese....LOL) and a side of mashed potatoes ($12), and Brussels sprouts ($12) were more than enough to share. It was late in the evening and we were one of the last tables seated. A few of us in the party had comped dinners. My wife and I charged it to the room. Was about $93 and we left a $20 tip. The ribeye was just slightly overcooked, and the wait time was a little longer than usual, hence the missing fifth star. But you'll want to make reservations here before you arrive to ensure a seat as it's worth a visit and a very classy place.

The kabocha squash hummus and Brussels sprouts were also immediate hits. My duck confit was exceptional and the banana creme pie was enough for 4 people to enjoy a few bites. Now the chips was awful, had a stale taste and even some had stiffness. Not exactly a good look for a "highly prestige establishment." I had Caesar salad and it was also not the very best. One bite tasted like a "stink bug" was in my salad. It tasted exactly how it smells. Very gross! The main course was subpar at best my steaks were cooked exactly as I asked but not the best I've ever eaten. I think the best meal out of all was the lobster Mac and cheese that my daughter ate.
