This place has very limited hours and only open on 5pm to 10pm from Friday and Saturday which is odd and only downside. I wonder if they make any business by just opening 10 hours a week unless Shreveport is just dead in general We were able to use our comps and $35 dollar food voucher here. I was craving for raw oysters. Here is what we ordered 1. Prime Rib 2. Spinach Salad 3. Shrimp and Grits 4. Cake 5. Dozen Raw oysters The prices are typical for a fancy restaurant at the casino which can range from $28 to $50 an entrée. Our waitress was very kind and nice and very attentive and always making recommendations. We loved the oysters and they gave us a difference sauce to try which was great, it was vinegar based and had to cocktail sauce. The oysters were big size. The grits was great as I enjoyed the shrimp and they give you a lot. The sausage was a little on the salty side. I had the prime rib and it was great and not dry and melts in your mouth. Salad was good as I enjoyed the bacon. The dessert they actually get it from somewhere else, but still very good. Not so sure why do not make it in house, but it was still great. Overall, it was a great place to fine dine and definitely come back. This is by far the best steakhouse in town. I have been to every one in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and have not found a better cut steak. I like a thick steak and here at William B's they give you what you want. The Prime rib is the best I have ever had. Just tell them how you like it and you will not be disappointed. We decided to come here to celebrate my mother's birthday and it was a huge disappointment. The hostess didn't seem friendly as we arrive for our reservation. Our server was a smart ass when I had asked him if they still offer the lobster stuff filet and he said no, that they offered it 3 months ago and that their menus changes every month (with an attitude!). As if I knew that. It was our first time there and drove from an hour and half away. He was in a hurry and didn't even offered us a drink menu. He went straight to taking our order. We wanted the Rockefeller oysters as our appetizer but they were sold out therefore we got the crab cakes, fried stuff portobello mushroom, and shrimp remoulade. They were all delicious. As for the 4 steaks we order, mine came out fairly decent but the other 3 were well done when asked for medium well. The quality of the steak was bad. The a la carte items we ok, nothing that stood out. As we got done with our meal, no dessert was even offered. Came in on Thursday night around 9:30 and the place was pretty empty with only two other tables there and I was a bit skeptical but after being greeted by our waitress who I can't remember her name but I can defiantly remember the experience thanks to her very cute and adorable French accent! Bread came out with 3 different types of spreads that were all delicious. For starters we got the stuffed mushroom with crab cake and the Rockefeller oysters. Both we are amazing and the bed of salad on the mushrooms were in an amazing sauce. For dinner we had the porter house steak for two. Very well worth it! We took our son and wife to Wm B s for a welcome to town meal. Had been wanting to try it. It is nice, but very dark. I like dark, but this was almost too much. The service was nice. We had a nice corner table, which I especially like. I have to say, the menu is nice and the prices were not bad for fine dining. However, the drinks were just not enjoyable. Strong, yes, but NO flavor. Like drinking booze with no mix. I ordered an Old Fashioned, which is a classical drink with orange muddled with cherries. A yummy drink. Not. I added sugar and it did not help. Just a strong drink is what it was. The food selection is nice and what I selected was reasonable and very good. The "Kids" were very happy with theirs. But leaving was unreal. Cars were helter skelter all over the place, going this way and that way and no valet in sight. We saw the car way over to the right. Son walked to it and he had a time getting back to us. Still saw no valets. Just a lot of cars trying to go this way and that way. Really awful. We have not gone back. Fantastic experience. I dined here for an anniversary dinner and they were amazing! Champagne for our anniversary and even called us by name (based on our reservation). Our server Marco was over the top in service - very entertaining, engaging, and he really seemed to enjoy his work. 4 of us enjoyed everything we ordered: the Maytag Blue Cheese Salad, the prime rib, the french onion soup, red velvet cake, etc. Sides were large enough for two, and only $3-$4 each - we ordered enough for an army: Potatoes au gratin, mac and cheese, asparagus, garlic creamed spinach, all terrific. He was very attentive but not very helpful. We ordered 4 sides and ate 1 bite from 3 of them and 3 bites from the 4th. Our potatoes were cold, the mac and cheese tasted spoiled, and a single bute was all I could stomach of the creme cheese potatoes. This restaurant was a huge disappointment to us. The service was 4 stars (from the front desk to the people refilling the water glasses) but the food was two stars at best. We started with shrimp cocktail, which was good. I would have liked a cocktail sauce with a bit more kick but it was still good. My husband ordered the double bone pork chop and the first few bites were really dry. After he got further into the chop it was better. It was plated with a heavy sauce that was very salty and seemed overcooked. I had the stuffed chicken with risotto. My dish was so salty! The chicken, even with the skin removed was so over salted it was hard to eat. It came with carrot slices that were slightly warm and coated in a glaze that was sweet and salty as well. The chicken was served over risotto that was overcooked and gummy. I really wanted to like it but it was really overcooked. We ordered asparagus as a side and it was ok. Aside from the service, It was probably the best part of the dinner. After we finished dinner we decided that it was more like buffet food than a really high end steakhouse. I doubt we will eat here again, even with a casino comp. read more

It's hilarious that this is called a steakhouse. At 8:45 at night they were sold out of steak. I was offered "chopped ribeye". The fact that a "steakhouse" would offer their leftover trimmings as a "steak" is ridiculous. Their mojitos taste like Sprite with a hint of rum and lime. The oysters weren't properly cleaned, and the wine selection was boring. The only thing this place has going for it is the friendly wait staff and their butter sampler included with the complimentary bread. Spend your winnings elsewhere! read more

I've eated at William B's several times and had the sweetest server tony. The food is usually pretty good but the reason I am giving them 1 star is because I had reservations for 8:30pm on a Wednesday night and I was turned away from dining in because I had holes in my jeans. They said they have a "business causal policy." They told me I had to go out to the bar area to order or get it to go. I've come in several times in my work clothes and had dinner in the restaurant. After a long day at work, my co workers and I were very much looking forward to crab cakes, filet and red wine. I have never felt so embarrassed and devalued in my life. It's so hard to find a pair of jeans now a days that doesn't have a hole in it. I can respect wanting to keep a nice atmosphere for dining but I was not dressed in a disrespectful way. Levis skinny jeans, dress shirt and boots. That's unacceptable? but they will allow someone in a micro dress and boobs hanging out?? They had 1 table occupied, and they missed out on a $200+ tab. Would I go back again? That's a tuff call. It's not a bad place. The service was good especially on Valentine's Day. The prices are what you would expect at an upscale restaurant in Shreveport like Superior, Ernest , or Jack Binions. In fact I would say this is one of the cheaper upscale places. Also, the food was not bad and it was a nice setting. It's just there is nothing about this place to get excited about when you want to get excited. There was nothing about this place that just jump out at me. But if you are in the same situation like I was and need a nice place to take that special someone in a pinch...you can do worst. Our server was way too rushed--whether he was that busy or not, he should not be flying in to our table and rushing taking orders and flying away. He was so rushed he nearly made our table feel anxious. Food took quite a while, but steaks were cooked to order, sides were good (I really like "creative" macaroni and cheese--pretty disappointed by this one) in general, and the setting was nice.
