Okay, full disclosure: I've only had takeout from this place. Doing takeout successfully for something so specific in presentation as ramen is a grail of mine, so I respect these folks for the division of ingredients and the instructions on the containers. It's kinda brilliant. However, this joint is expensive. I feel like they nickel and dime you a bit for the added ingredients. And the price point was high even before inflation went into the stratosphere. The last time I ordered was in the last couple weeks and the broth is different. That said, I'm on the fence here. It's a chain so it's doing well for a reason. The apps are amazing. The bowls are delicious (according to my friend). That Karaage Chicken is INSANE. The fried broccolini? A big rain storm was approaching Cali, so it seemed appropriate to go out for Ramen! I have been wanting to try this place that is relatively new to porter ranch but not new to LA. Across LA there are several Silverlake Ramen restaurants! At 3pm on a Friday this restaurant was pretty empty! Thus seems like the perfect time to go on a Friday as at nighttime, especially on a Friday this place can be quite busy. We started with Gyoza. You can get them fried or steamed. There are only 6 small dumplings per an order. The price for this item seems a big expensive for the size and amount. The Gyoza were good but not great. We also tried two different ramens: one spicey ramen with chicken and the other one with truffle and tofu. The broths were pretty good on both bowls. The bowls only came with one egg. The one egg was good but we wish there were more. You can order more. You can add more eggs, vegetables, noodles and more for a price. The bowls were pretty big in size. The waiter said people rarely finish their bowls. The bowls were 17 plus dollars. We enjoyed our ramen but we have had better. I think the ramen was average. Service was ok. Waiter was cleaning tables and serving food. Eek! Plus or drinks were forgotten. As for cleanliness- could be better. We sat at a table viewing the garbage pail: not the best view. Silverlake ramen is always a solid choice! The service was great; the servers were always making sure that we were good and asked if we needed anything. We got the garlic truffle ramen and it's incredibly flavorful and mouthwatering. It was my first time ever getting the tsukemen dipping noodles and they did not disappoint. It was delicious, but I wouldn't get it if I didn't want to put in the work to continuously dip my noodles and pork throughout the entire meal; but this time I was determined so I finally tried it lol I don't know what it is about the texture of their thick noodles but it's a great consistency; not too chewy but also not so hard for a noodle. Great food, great service, i was sat down by a very respectful young lady, i believe her name was Kylie, very consistent on the refills and very helpful. I ordered the Cajun noodles and my fiancé ordered the shoyu noodles as a combo. The ramen dishes cost between $15-$19 each and for about $20 you can get a combo that comes with ramen and an appetizer. He had the spicy chicken bao bun. I placed an online order while waiting for the gentleman to acknowledge my existence there. I was given the option to order a BOGO on the website for the large karage. I placed the order and was still charged for both. I asked the people in charge and they were unable to assist with any actual corrections. The website was no help because all it did was direct me to call the store/location and when I did(twice) it sent me to voicemail. The location was very apologetic but was handicapped by the system. The ramen is the obvious highlight here, and this place certainly delivers on great ramen. Portions are good enough to share. I was way too full after having about 75% of my own bowl. So hearty, flavorful, and generous with ingredients. The gyoza was also delish. Great for the whole table to share, and they do give you quite a few pieces. Comes with spicy mayo sauce. Service was a little slow, even though we came during a quiet time for lunch. They were prepping, though, which I can understand. The interior is cute and the place is relatively new and recent. Probably my favorite ramen! I usually grt the garlic truffle with chicken or pork. It's so creamy and the portion of the noodles is so generous. I e tried their Creamy Broccolini, Pork Bun and Spicy Chicken Bun and Shrimp Tempura Roll. I've really enjoyed the broccolini and pork bun more than the spicy chicken bun. It was more juicy and flavorful. The Shrimp Tempura Roll wasn't anything special. It's usually packed especially in the winter but I recently went and there wasnt a wait. We got there around 5pm on a Saturday. I'm sure by 7pm it gets packed. It's easy to park as it's at the Vineyards in Porter Ranch but it can take a while and the whole parking lot gets packed. So although the parking lot makes it convenient to park, it's still a hassle. However there's parking in the back of the building. read more

We out our name down and they texted us when the table was ready. It did take quite awhile to get even our waiter around to get us at least water. Once he came we took advantage to order food since they were in fact busy. My husband and I both got the combo deal they have. I ordered their blaze ramen bowl with gyoza. The ramen was delicious! The broth has so much umami and the noodles are cooked well and still had bite to them. I added bamboo shoots and it brought it all together. The portion was great too. The gyoza was DELICIOUS. Super crispy, soft filling; they were wonderful. My husband ordered their Cajun mazemen bowl; their broth less bowl and the chicken karaage. Self-parking is free but hard to find as there are way too many businesses there that attract large crowds, including an AMC Theatre. There is no Valet parking. Venue 4: Nice modern and inviting yet unpretentious set up with indoor seating (tables and a ramen bar). I love the murals on the walls! They have table service as well as takeout. Service 3: Service was polite but not particularly accommodating. Food 5: Ramen, bowls, and appetizers. I had the Garlic Truffle Ramen with Pork. It was one of the better Ramens I have had. Highly recommended. Pork Bun was also good. My family liked their Classic and Veggie Ramens and the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna also. Drinks 3: So far, soft drinks in cans only. We tried Silverlake Ramen last Saturday night as their popular neighbor, Finney's Crafthouse, had a one hour wait for a table. With our sweet toddler granddaughter along, there was no way that an hour's waiting time would fly, even with the nearby play area. Generally, I enjoy ramen places. This one felt disjointed to me; like I didn't know where to check in for a table, or how their serving activities take place. Possibly because the neon graphics are so bright, while the furniture is so dark, it threw me off visually at first. Figured it out; the host stand is also where the register is at the front immediately after you get in the door. There's really no waiting area. We were shown to a table as soon as it was cleared. They do have full table service, although we were served by various people, so it was hard to know who was actually take care of us - everyone? Like I said, disjointed experience. They don't have a kids' menu, which also made it challenging for us to find something that our young companion would enjoy / eat (she's picky!). We ended up getting her noodles. I ordered a side of butter, thinking I would toss that over the noodles. Not so much, since the ramen was in a bowl with a small amount of broth on the bottom. Challenging! She did enjoy eating the long noodles like she was in Lady and the Tramp, slowly sucking them up into her mouth. She wouldn't try any chicken, or gyoza, or anything else but lemonade. Speaking of gyoza, it was overly greasy, which took away from the flavor. I didn't enjoy them very much, actually. Dear Hubby and I went for an order of dipping ramen, with sauce in a bowl on the side. We had the chicken, which was tender and plump, and a generous portion. There was some spice profile that I didn't quite care for; a flavor I couldn't readily identify. Whatever it was, it was different enough that I ended up sticking mainly to the ramen noodles, all while trying to make sure our granddaughter got enough food. We did have lots of leftovers, and the broth's flavor improved over a couple days of refrigeration and reheating. Large servings! First time trying this place, and the verdict is just "meh." I think this place is overly hyped, and just because it's in a prime location, people are "accepting" the fact that mediocrity is acceptable here Parking is terrible, especially on a weekend, it's a big lot but it is packed to the brim! I tried the tsukemen, and my partner tried the classic ramen. For the tsukemen, if you have been to places similar to Tsujita, you would know immediately that they botched the flavor. The broth is bland, and it has no business being paired with the noodle! The pork chasu is fried, instead of grilled, this causes the meat to be overly greasy, but also dry. The pork greasiness just makes the combination with the noodle awful. There is also a weird combination of sweetness and saltiness within the broth, which makes it unpalatable. For the classic, it is almost like a case of mistaken identity. It says classic broth, but there is a heavy truffle taste in the broth, but they have a separate truffle infused ramen on the menu, so what gives? The pork meat on the classic is also fried, so it's hard to cut the grease off the pork. The only redeeming quality is the Karaage, which is pretty good. Otherwise probably would not come back here and 10/10 would not recommend. read more

Came here after leaving the AMC. It's located right next to Finney's Crafthouse. This location is smaller than the one in Burbank. No outside seating, but I do like that there is bar seating available right by the kitchen so you can watch them prep your food. Ordered the Tonkotsu ramen combo with karage. Food took a few minutes. The karage was crispy and juicy, but a tad oily. I liked it and the dipping sauce that accompanied it. The ramen wasn't overly salty so that was a big plus. The noodles were a little thicker than what you would find at Shin Sen Gumi. What I didn't really care for was the park slices. It was on the thicker side and dry. Looks like they put it on the flattop and grilled the heck out of it. Not my favorite and kind of ruined the ramen bowl. My entire meal ended up costing around $22. read more

This is my second time coming to this location. The food is consistently delicious. The decor is extra bright.. the signage inside is actually blinding if you are sitting facing it. The service fast. Definitely a get your food, eat and get out kinda vibe. Lingering to chat with friends isn't ideal here due to the small capacity in a high traffic area.. although the parking lot is huge considering it's in a large shopping center, parking is next to impossible to find with all of the other eateries. We wanted a booth in an empty restaurant and the staff wouldn't us have it stating it was already taken and placed their water bottle on the table. We should have just walked out at that point. It's the first time that I tried Raman. I didn't like the taste of chicken and bone broth, so it wasn't a good choice for me but I want to give another chance next time and try the vegetable Raman. Chicken karaage bowl comes in two size small and large, so I ordered large. I took my family on a Monday evening around 6pm. I was expecting the place to be busy, so I wasn't surprised when they gave me a 35-45 minute estimated wait time. I did get a call after only 10 minutes of waiting, because another party had not shown up. The crispy chicken karaage was a much smaller portion than we were expecting. The dipping sauce was really delicious, but we barely used any of it because of the small size of the karaage pieces. Previously, I got the Blaze tonkotsu, so this time I wanted to try something different. I got the Cajun Mazemen, which I enjoyed much more than the other ones on the menu. Rather than the traditional ramen in soup broth, this one is more like a noodle dish with sauce. The seasonings were on point. I did add on pork belly and an egg to my bowl.
