The food is amazing! Service is attentive, and a wonderful cozy feel! Sylvia is also a wonderful host. Bring your hungry bellies and you will be happy and full. The food is made fresh to order. The breads are fresh and delicious. Come enjoy some wonderful Polish ad Romanian cooking.

What a wonderful surprise. The food was delicious and Silvia was wonderful. I will definitely go back. It was like visiting my Babci's kitchen

The food was good. Polish holiday dinner was great except for the chicken it didn't have much flavor. The cube steak was dried. Everything else was good. Service was very slow but pleasant because only 3 workers, including Ms. Silvia. Give extra time because cooking is very slow and fresh. Exactly 2 hours for our dinner to come out, so give extra time. Very small restaurant with limited seating. 2 bathrooms. Very small and clustered. Owner (Ms. Silvia) was very pleasant and welcoming to all guesses.

All I can say is AMAZING!!!!!! I f you haven't eaten at Silvia's you have missed a fantastic dining experience. Full bar with specialty cocktails and beer along with really good raspberry tea started us off. From the plate of warm homemade bread and butter to the cappuccino to finish off the meal everything was delicious. Silvia and Camaro our server saw to all our needs. The food was plentiful and hot and nicely seasoned. We got the traditional Romanian and Polish meals, very generous portions, while our dining companions got veal Parm and eggplant Parm. Dinner was capped off with sweet traditional breads and the chocolate one was the best. Don't miss this once in a lifetime experience.

If you are looking for a great place to eat, go to Silvias International Restaurant in Enfield!! The service and food is phenomenal!! The soup, which was amazing, comes in a tureen style dish and the salad came out on on huge platter, as did our meals as pictured! We had enough for 3 meals each and we loved everything! We also shared a pieorgi app that was scrumptious I wish I had taken pictures of every dish! The owner/chef is very nice and goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a good experience. Since she cooks it all from scratch, it is nice to relax and digest between courses. We will definitely be going back to this wonderful restaurant in Enfield! So, go ahead and try it but don't forget to bring your appetite!!!

    Yummy hime made breads.

Our waiter was exemplary and could teach classes in the art. For an enormous table of 3 generations, including several teenage boys, we not only felt welcome and special, we also felt very, very well fed. The menu was extensive and loaded with fresh fruit, veggie, meat and seafood. I think our family ordered nearly everything and we raved about it all. I appreciate the sensitivity about food allergies and found many nut-free options. The zero proof menu was broad and the local beers were fantastic. The venue is beautiful and has a very nice outdoor space, deck area, bar area, and then restaurant seating inside. There is a subtle but effective soundproofing on the ceiling. There are 2 all-gender single stall bathrooms that are tidy and spacious. Overall, it was a fabulous experience and I can't wait to go back for the fall specials!

We arrived at 1:45 and walked into disarray. No one to great us, no host or hostess, just a lot of confusion. There was no record of my friend's reservation. We learned there was a 2:30 seating and that took us by surprise. We waited at the bar and had a few drinks. This had me feeling anxious. We heard them discussing table seating for different parties, but when I asked, my friend's name was still not added to a seating list. It seemed there was no one in charge. As 230 approached, we were told we can follow them into the seating area and while other tables had the parties names on small placards, still there was nothing on the two open two-seaters tables. We sat, and waited. On a positive note, we were the first table to be told the food was ready and we could go into buffet. No complaints about the food, it was pretty good. The final irritation was when our bill came, and I handed my credit card to the server. She seemed to be taking a long time to return with my card so I got up and went looking for her. I approached the bar and found her discussing an issue with a co-worker about another diner's bill. All the while holding my card in her hand. I stood at the bar, be ignored until I politely asked if there was a problem with my credit card. They snapped out of their daze and apologized to me. We wrapped up the transaction, and we left. As I said, the food was good, but maybe because it was a special holiday buffet everything was messed up?? Not sure. Not a pleasant experience. Good food can't make up for the ridiculous absence of good service. Doubt I'll return.

We honestly couldn't have asked for better staff interaction. Everyone was friendly, personal and genuinely cared about our time there! Also hats off to the chef! Jared told us he was the best and I can agree! This was quite possibly one of the best meals I've had all year! We shared a special of the night ( goat cheese, beets, peaches and hot honey) and the salad that is set to be a new menu item. Everything was locally sourced and these dishes were a 10/10! It was hard to choose and entree so Emily C and I split the cod and the steak sirloin. The cod was to die for. The best I've ever had. The sirloin was chefs kiss and the sauce and asparagus it paired with (and potatoes too) were all out of this world! While i was already full, the dessert menu is a must. We went with a lemon dessert and oh my goodness was it to die for! Drinks were amazing too---I had a spritz and a very tasty mocktail! Ambiance both inside and outside are beautiful. Since it was a sunny summer night we sat outside, but inside is equally stunning. It is very upscale chic and so pretty! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I'll be back for the staff, especially our server David, another drink, the eggplant sandwich and more of the dessert menu! I see why Yelp raves about this new spot! It is !

It was founded by husband and wife Mikael and Alicia Moller. Mikael started out as a restaurant apprentice in Sweden when he was just 13. He immigrated to New York City in 1981 and worked at several high-profile restaurants. Mikael met Charlotte when he began working as a chef for Charlotte's Catering where she was also working. After marrying in 1989, they bought the catering business. After a trip to Millbrook, they fell in love with the area and wanted to open a restaurant in town. They purchased the building that housed Allyn's Restaurant in 2006 and renamed it "Charlotte's Restaurant". The location was built in the 19th century as a church before being converted into a theater and finally a restaurant space. My wife and I recently dined at Charlotte's while we were visiting Millbrook. We were celebrating our sixth anniversary with a stay at Wing's Castle nearby. Charlotte's came highly recommended. We really liked all of the Autumn decor adorning the dining room. We started things off with some Autumn-inspired cocktails: I had the "Apple Pie Martini" while my wife had the "Warm Cider with Spiced Rum". They both really hit the spot. For entrees, I had the "Cornish Game Hen (with quinoa, butternut squash, pickled sweet peppers and rosemary sauce) while my wife had the "Creamy Lobster Mac & Cheese" (Maine lobster, bacon bits, herbed bread crumb with mixed greens and citrus vinaigrette). We both really enjoyed our food! After the dessert menu came around, we decided to share a delicious "Apple Galette" (local Granny Smith apple, sweet pastry crust, vanilla ice cream). It was a perfect way to end an excellent meal. We really enjoyed our experience at Charlotte's and highly recommend them for anyone visiting Millbrook!
