Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. My favorite is the tuna melt. The saganaki is very good as well. The salads are another favorite. Excellent chicken and wild rice soup as well. Our group of 4 was looking for a place all of us wanted breakfast and lunch. Having gone past this place for years I said let's try this place. What a joke! First in we got seated, menus and order no problems there. The waitress was good. I did notice that the prices were higher than I expected from a diner type restaurant. None of us were going to leave without spending $20 per person for just an entree and drink. That seemed very high. And oddly no Senior Meals or discounts considering so many there. That's just taking advantage which I did not like. Another item that I noticed was a sign saying various reasons of what your meal costs go to. Not very classy. The food came and that's when the rating took a nosedive. One person ordered corned beef and eggs. What they got was stuff you get out of a can. And the hash browns were so crispy fried. She didn't ask for that or pay for food out of a can. Another person had these crepes with the fruit on the outside. Looks like they just cut up a banana and put on top of 3 crepes. The other two had stacked sandwiches which seemed to have a few pieces of lunch style meat but had more lettuce and few French fries. Both said the bread was very dry and questionable lunch meat. Now remember I said each person's meal with a soda or iced tea was $20pp. For stuff you can get in a can or lunch deli meat. Once is enough for us to never go back. And Management quit taking advantage of seniors and offer some special meals and/or discounts. Shame on them! read more

Just gonna update you about Simon's restaurant yes they do have a sometimes tricky soup policy but you know what that's part of the fun and the food actually is usually pretty tasty and the variety is quite wide. You might wanna try the hand breaded codfish on Fridays yummy. The prices are not too bad. read more

Simon's Restaurant had all the potential of being a great breakfast spot but it failed to deliver on the food. Having driven past many times and always seeing a packed parking lot I was eager to stop in for breakfast. Finally the day had come. We got there early, about 30mins after opening, on a Sunday morning and there was already a healthy amount of people. After securing a booth I took a peek at the menu and saw all the usual suspects. When our waitress, who was very friendly and engaging, came to greet us we were ready to place our order. Naturally, I went with the Eggs Benedict. It's my litmus teat for any breakfast establishment. The food came out FAST! I could hardly believe it! It had to have been under five minutes. However, I quickly discovered why... my poached eggs were just over the poached line, the Hollandaise was runny, and the hash browns were undercooked. Oddly the English muffins were burnt...? All added up to a very lack-luster meal for me. To top it off, I feel like the prices for menu items are about where they should be but the sides... they really gouge you: $5 for a side of bacon (3 pieces) and $5 for a TINY glass of OJ. Give me a break. Needless to say, I won't be paying top dollar (relatively speaking) for a sub-par experience again. read more

The best! I was in town for a Class reunion and staying at a local Motel. We ate dinner and two breakfasts there. Food was good with large portions. The service was spot on. I was just there yesterday at 10am and was really disappointed. While their staff is great the food has really taken a dive. My soup was cold and my sausages and potatoes were luke warm. The only thing that good was my eggs which I could have made at home. I feel bad but if I or any consumer paid $12.99 for a basic breakfast plate then I expected it to be done exceptionally. I have been going to Simon's for over 15 years and would have ALWAYS given 5 stars, HOWEVER, for the past 12 months, EVERYTIME we order carryout, there is ALWAYS something wrong, most times there is something missing, even though when placing the order they repeat it correctly and also say it correctly when picking it up, but that is from the order. There is NO quality control about the carry out orders. I feel like Joe Pesche in Lethal Weapon when they go through the drive through and he said he "Always gets F-ed in the *ss" when his order is wrong! IF you get a carry out order, even though they repeat it correctly, make them take EVERYTHING out of the bag. I am so f'ing sick and tired of missing dressing, extra gravy, no butter with bread (that they charge for) etc that I do not find out until I get home. I am going to start placing the order on my credit card and IF there is something wrong with the order, I am going deny the entire charge. We even tip 10% on carry out orders - but that will not happen again until Hell freezes over!! Maybe Simon will start caring when he is getting stiffed and know how it feels to be me! read more

I can not express enough how fresh our food was. Hash browns crispy but not cheap. Avacado fresh!!! Tomatoes fresh. It's the little things that show the quality!! I am not a big fan of sops with rice in them, but this one is awesome, trust me, you won't be disappointed! Our main course came out shortly thereafter. We often get carry out so that we will have leftovers because the soup keeps well in the refrigerator for several days. They have a large menu. Simon's is a fantastic local greek diner that serves everything from breakfast to dinner all day, every day. Not only do they have reliable service, I've never had a bad meal. The best way to start a meal here is by ordering the LEGENDARY cream of chicken soup. It's a winner! Otherwise for breakfast I recommend the strawberry crepes, and for dinner, the cheeseburger or baked ham. You'll even get a free dessert (i.e. Jello, rice pudding, or a scoop of ice cream) depending on what entree you order too. Otherwise, they have tons of pies and cakes you can order for an upcharge. Lastly, Simon's has prioritized the safety of its diners. They have blocked off several booths/tables to socially distance diners from each other, and require masks when entering or generally moving throughout the restaurant. Plus, they have increased outdoor seating for the summer if you want to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. Have been to Simon's numerous times and I'm always amazed at how fast they seat you - even tho it looks packed with customers. As well, once seated, your order is taken and the food comes out about 7-8 minutes later (how they do this, I do not know, but excellent service) Great food - I've had many breakfasts and a couple of sandwiches and all have been great I would only highly suggest that they offer tater tots! Just finished dinner. Or should I say my dinner partner did. Wanted to get a skillet but our wonderful waitress with no manners and a personality equivalent to a garden slug said they don't serve gravy. "We run out after 1:00" Ok So I ordered a gyro sandwich. Holy crap!! Looked like something out of the frozen food aisle at Walmart. They make breakfast all day & night but no gravy after 1:00 pm when they run out. Proclivity to be polite did not kick in I'm afraid. I sent the sandwich back. Totally was not expecting that for a gyro sandwich. Complete and utter insult to the Greek people. Shame. Figured I would try something easy like chicken tenders, besides I couldn't wait any longer because my dinner partner was pretty much done with her meal and I hadn't even got mine yet. Tick Tock Tick Tock ok couldn't wait anymore. Had to cancel chef's choice chicken tenders. Went to pay bill & the woman at the counter I'm assuming was the owner asked how everything was. Almost ashamed to admit how long we've driven past this place before trying it. Now, we order from Simon's more than once a week. The online ordering portal is amazing provided it's a mom & pop shop. The club sandwich, the avocado club, and the buffalo chicken wrap have all been excellent! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how dang good their cream of chicken soup is. I crave it as I type. Terrible Customer Service! Wouldn't recommend this restaurant Why? 1st Received an appetizer that was burnt, wasn't able to eat it. Had to have it taken off the bill. No quality control. 2nd While waiting for our entrées. My dining partners coffee was replenished, unfortunately not in her cup as the lid was not on tightly and the coffee ended up on her lap. She had on a skirt and was quick to pull it up and get some napkins on her lap to make sure she would be OK. Not soon after, Entrees arrived, but neither one of us could eat because we had lost our appetites. Getting a burnt appetizer is one thing, but having coffee spilled on your lap is another. Ruins your appetite, and the experience. We asked for the manager at the end of the meal and the manager asked what he could do. He offered free dessert which we declined. If we can't eat our meals certainly we're not going to eat dessert. That was all that was offered. Not can we clean any of your garments? Are you sure you're OK? We're so sorry this happened we'd like to comp your meal. And then when we proceeded to mention again about the experience we were told there was no problem with the food so we really don't feel we should comp your meals. I commented food is part of the experience and everything that occurred completely ruined it. The manager told us that we can take care of the bill but you have to leave the food that is already been boxed up. Or if you decide to take the food with you you'll have to pay the bill. When I explained again we didn't have an appetite so we were unable to eat that's why we want to take the food with us. We were told if you take the food with you you'll be charged if you leave the food we can take care of the bill. So that's what we ended up doing. All of this for a $32 bill.
