It was one slice of pastrami, not a thin slice but not what you hope for when you bite into true Jewish deli pastrami, which are normally bursting at the seems with meat. Marble rye is hard not to burn and they did a good job for the most part, but I tasted more crust than I did pastrami, and for $18 I wonder if this sandwich was more a charge for the hype. The blintzes were also smaller than one would expect of a blintz but I absolutely loved the compote on top.

When I came in to pick it up, the employee told me they had no order under my name. I kept telling him I had already paid, and he repeatedly insisted there was no order. I finally had to pull up my receipt to prove that I had placed and paid for it. On top of that, he was rude throughout the interaction. As a paying customer, I shouldn't have to argue just to receive food that I already paid for. How do you take someone's money, but then have no record of their order? That's unacceptable. The food was OK, but i expected some English pub type food, but it was just the same type of sandwichs prepared differently. The service was bad.
