Personalized service by the front office, Min was super in our consultation, Dr Shung treats everyone as if they're friends. He is proactive but not in an aggressive way. His plan was very different from all others I consulted, but I liked that he was so confident in his plan and that its focus was keeping things as natural as possible. And the results are fantastic. If you think you need any orthodontic work done to your teeth, don't hesitate to go to Dr. Shung! I had braces when I was younger but my teeth still had gaps when they were taken off. A few years down the road of not wearing my retainers I could see that they were only going to get worse so I found Simply Orthodontics online and decided to swing by for a consultation. Dr. Shung was very professional during the consultation and gave a lot of feedback in regards to me getting invisalign. He offered a fair price for the slight work that needed to be done on my teeth and we were off. Getting the molds and brackets put on were painless and so far I've had no complaints. The best part about having Dr. Shung as my orthodontist is that he's very good at communicating and working around his patients' schedules. Anytime I have a question, I could shoot him an email and he would respond in a few hours. He keeps his practice open pretty late which is great because I don't have to leave work early and also don't have to worry about being stuck in traffic to meet my dental appointments. I am so glad I took my daughter in for second opinion. Dr. Shung is great ! He is really great with kids. The staff is incredibly nice and professional. We're do I even start.. Since I was young my parents kept pushing me to get braces. I never understood the importance of a smile, as I got older my teeth shifted and I had horrible and over crowded teeth. I hated my smile and I never smiled because I was very embarrassed. One doctor wanted to extract five teeth, and put headgear over night, the other wanted to extend my years and extract several teeth as well with no further explanation or options. This place is legit! I needed an orthodontist for my son who has an underbite and his dentist recommended that he see an orthodontist. So I started doing research for the best in the area and this place popped up first on Yelp. Not a big reviewer but have to write one for this place. The office is really sleek and modern - check out the pics, it's not what I imagined an orthodontist's office would look like. Kudos to the doctor and his staff! Simply Orthodontics is one of the best dental offices I have been to! The space is very clean, modern and welcoming with modern technology throughout. They always have fresh fruit infused water in the waiting area, although I rarely have to wait to be seen because they are so time efficient.The staff is always professional and friendly, they send reminder texts for appts and are always so pleasant to interact with! Hi, my kids and I are another patient of another orthodontics which is currently located in Cerritos. My son ate a hard fruit and had his wire deeply stuck in his gums. He was whining about how much it hurt but we didn't have time to drive the hour to Cerritos since it was a weekday and it was already 5. We called all orthodontics in our area, Irvine, and they all said that they couldn't see us until tomorrow or weren't able to treat patients that weren't in their office. Finally we found Simply Orthodontics and they were kind enough to let us in. We got their in 10 minutes and the process was quick and easy. My daughter had a really bad experience at a dental office when she was about 5 years old. Ever since then we have had a hard time getting her into the dental chair. Well now that she is 13 and it's time for braces I had to figure out how to erase that bad memory with a great new experience. I was told by a fellow mom at Jeffrey Trails Middle School to look into Simply Orthodontics, because the kids love the office filled with snacks, drinks, and the big TV screens! We decided to meet with Dr. Shung and he was so great with our daughter. He gave us our options for her Orthodontic Treatment and spoke in terms we understood. He explained what the X-rays meant and provided us a copy for our own records. We had a complete understanding of what the next 18-24 months were going to look like. He even took the time to go over it with out daughter and explain to her all the steps of putting the braces on and what happens at her monthly visits. (She was very excited about picking out her colors for the future months) We have been in treatment for 3 months now and we just keep thinking about how lucky we are to have found this office! How lucky are we to find an orthodontist that is truly compassionate and skilled. After consulting with other orthos, my husband, daughter and I felt Dr. Shung was the best qualified for the long journey ahead of us. The skill and precision with his craft was evident in the progress made with my daughters teeth.
