I can't understand the high ratings for this place. I was really looking forward to trying this new restaurant because it's on my way home from work. SO disappointed in the quality of the food. The Crab Rangoon's were about 95% fried wontons. Maybe I misread the menu for the Kung Pao Chicken --I didn't realize it had fried chicken in it. The General Tso chicken, same as the Kung Pao, had chicken that tasted like Tyson fried chicken nuggets that were warmed up in the sauce. They tasted kind of mushy..,very low quality meat. And this meal wasn't cheap--$44.00! I have a sad feeling that this place will go out of business Like the last Asian restaurant that was in that spot. I heard there is a great Thai food trailer a little further down the street....I'm hoping it is much better than this place. read more

This Pho House has been the best of the three locations they have so far. Called ahead and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Very hot and delicious food. All of the food items were great, the kids popcorn chicken ironically is some of the best you'll find anywhere. We came for Pho and Vermicelli bowls, and we're quite pleased. We also had pot stickers, spring rolls, and egg rolls, all were made perfectly. They did struggle with our drink orders. They completely forgot one of our drinks, and they are we had to ask to have our water refill water. Once they get the service situation fixed this will be a 5* spot for sure. read more

I ordered takeout today for the first time with my wife. We didn't order Pho due to Texas heat in the summer so opted for some chicken dishes and apps. The sesame chicken was filling, but over cooked and dry and had way too much sauce. The sweet and sour chicken was the worst item we ordered, but thought it would be a safe bet. Also it had the red dye, which isn't great, tasted watered down. The chicken was also dry in that dish. The egg rolls were solid overall and would re order. The last item we ordered was the crab wontons and they were average at best. I'm willing to give this place another shot when I'm craving pho. read more

Make sure you go with plenty of time before closing. Not only could we not get anything to eat. The staff was pretty rude because we got there at 8:35 and they close at 8:45 and the kitchen apparently leaves right at 8:45. The waitress was super short with us and said "you have to order right now because the kitchen closes in three min. ". We felt super unimportant disposable disposable as customers. I ordered to-go and was SO bummed...I ordered a large chicken pho. very skimpy and wilted onions, basil, cilantro and bean sprouts. The broth is also very greasy. So much so it made me nauseous and left a film on my lips. For 16$ I expected much better. We ate there the other day. Daughter ordered spicy chicken vermicelli. The chicken was bad, it had an old nearly spoiled taste, not what you expect in a fresh piece of meat. What a mess! We eat here about once a month and everthing has changed. All brand new staff including management. Staff is scared of kitchen, kitchen gives zero s@#ts. Food came out cold and bland for 3 dishes. I think they boiled the chicken and shrimp for fried rice instead of sautéing it. I ordered Thai spicy basil with chicken like I always do. I asked for authentic spice, really spicy. I always order it this way and it's really spicy. My dish was not spicy at all and super sickening sweet. They put so much sugar in the sauce, it was gross and also cold. Told our server it was cold, not sweet and tasted like sugar. I asked for sautéed jalepeno or Thai red pepper to add to my dish, or please redo it without all that sugar. Our server was scared to take it back or even tell the cooks. He said they refuse to listen or fix it. Their fix was to literally dumped a cup of chili oil in my dish. It made it even worse. My plate was now filled with oil and dry pepper flakes. Couldn't eat the chicken because the flakes kept getting caught in my throat. Not spicy, just drowning in now sugar oil and dry not hot pepper flakes. Manager is NOT managing. He was in over his head and didn't even seem to care. Other tabels began to complain as we were leaving. Our server was great, food and management terrible. Sad to see them go downhill like this. You should not allow your kitchen to hold you hostage and not care about their food. The owners should also take note. Panda Express is coming right across the street. Thought we would give Simply Pho House a try. We just ordered some of our old regulars - fried rice & spring rolls. How hard can those be ? It was not completely bad, or outstanding. The fried flavor wish was very bland. We had to add our on seasoning, something we usually don't have to do. The spring rolls were nothing more than rice paper, white rice, and noodles. Come on you can be more creative than that. Thank goodness they do give you some pretty good peanut sauce. Since we went to the new Belterra location we will give them some time to hopefully get their act together. Almost forgot to say that the inside of their new location is very nice. read more

i use to eat at simply pho in Beltera , dripping springs 5 days a week i love Viet food..but starting in oct . they had a severe fly infestation, and i was constantly sending my food back due to flys landing on my meal..i told them they need to get an exterminator out here to deal with it. or at least set off some bug foggers at night as they close up. they did not . then after the last time i ate there, i got very sick, and had to go to the ER,so after being injected with radio active dye ,and having to get a CT scan of my internal organs, because the pain was so bad, we thought my colon was about to rupture . felt like i had a knife in my gut for a week. but Dr. said not colon rupture, after he looked at the scan ..he said maybe something bad i ate the day before,.. well i quit eating there after that, but then as a Christmas gift ,my friend gave me a 50 dollar gift card to eat there, and i told her i dont eat there after getting food poisoning ..she said well they will probably give you the cash, so yesterday i went up there to cash in,,but they refused to honor the gift card, and said no refunds..i was a loyal customer for over a year , 5 days a week with tip my bill was about 35 to 40 dollars. i tipped the wait staff very well..most times 50 percent of the bill . and the wait staff knew me by name, and knew what i usually ordered.. i told the manager,i will never eat here again and showed him a photo of myself in the hospital from that day i got sick from their food,, so just give me the 50 bucks in cash, he called the owner i guess and still they refused to honor the gift card , even after told him, i had spent thousands of dollars eating there religiously for over a year ,..and telling all my friends and co workers to eat there,.. but now i am thinking i might just sue them, for my hospital bill, and four days of lost wages from my job ,and court cost and atty. fees,.... I had to drive there and back again Manger could care less gave me a free egg roll! WTF!!! The pho is good but the Chinese dishes tasted like fast food/ p f Chang's. Much of food comes frozen from a purveyor not made in kitchen. That maybe normal but this surely doesn't have a taste. Manager Should have comped meal or offered a free meal next time. Horrible expecting eat only to have to drive back. A free meal costs them nothing but shows a sincere concern.
