Went online to order (they do not answer the phone at all) and my $14.70 salad had a $7 extra charge on it for no reason. Deleted and remade the order and the system kept hitting me with a 50% fee to order online. Salads are good but I am not into getting hammered with extra fees with no explanation. My roommate told me his was $22 as well and he doesn't know why because his salad was the same price. NO where on the site is there any information as to why the system is gouging people but I won't stand for being charged that much of a fee and no way to figure out where it is coming from. read more

First off, fix your hours! Second, Andrew and Alexa are by far the worst! They don't greet you and have you standing like an idiot for 15 minutes until YOU ask them if you're going to be helped or not. No type of acknowledgment from either employees. I get it, I was young at some point too and wanted to leave work early, but learn how to smile once in a while. Don't get me wrong, the food does taste very fresh, but the presentation is extremely sloppy! Lastly, don't go an hour or two before closing. They'll be extremely upset and give you "salad with your dressing." Unfortunately I will not be going back because this was the third time these employees treated my fiancé and I this way. We wanted to try this place, came in and it wasn't busy. There was probably 3 ahead of us. We ordered our food under the name Josh and went to go sit down. About 15 min had passed and they called out a John. We continued our conversation. About 10 minutes later since we had already waited over 20 minutes I asked the lady that was making our food if our order was ready. And she said yeah I called out John a while ago. I was like well his name is Josh and she said well I heard a John. Anyways, personally the name wasn't the issue whether she heard John or Josh. If she saw us sitting at the table after she called out whom she thought was us, and we didn't get up, she could've told us our food was ready. Our distance from the table to her was probably 5 feet away, enough to just verbally catch our attention. Rather than know we're there, obviously waiting. I used to LOVE Simply Salad. There was a location down the street from my office in DTLA and that's where I fell in love with Simply Salad. Unfortunately this location didn't match up to what I expected considering I've been a customer to the DTLA location for years. The portions were smaller and the customer service fell a little short. Salad were good. We were disappointed there was nowhere to sit and eat so we had to eat in the car in the parking lot. You can 'build your own salad' so when you order they mark-off a little itemized sheet for themselves, then go and make your salad so you gotta wait. Seems it would be much much faster if they just made it as you pointed at the toppings you wanted, the orders would be instantly made in front of you, no waiting.... wam bam thank you mam. The place is good, I like that you can make your own salad but still have the option to get ones on the menu. I also tried their cheese and broccoli soup and it was good. The place is small so dine in options are slim, there is only a waiting seating to wait for the order to be made. The service was friendly and they guide you if it is your first time. Visited their new location and was stoked! Favorite salad place. The salad had issues, called and was able to speak to the manager, and she was nice enough on our first visit to personally remake our salads after calling this location. Our second visit, we encountered a mistake. I called, theres no option to reach the manager, prompt message which is sus and our second visit, traveled and made a trip TWICE - they gave us the wrong dressing.
