Hands down I just got the best service from Ellie, Sage and Gina (Gina is from another store helping out). Tho is my first visit and definitely won't be my last. First off I'm glad I came at dinner time or a little after dinner rush. I was able to ask 1000 questions (no lie). I didn't feel rushed and they were all so patient for being a first timer. You pick your salad, wrap or pasta. They have signature salads or build your own. I ordered a Cesar with grilled chicken and a build your own with steak, apples, blue cheese, cranberries and croutons. They best of the best is your can order it chopped or fine chopped. I got honey mustard dressing and a balsamic dressing. I can't wait to go home and eat. It is so great having a healthy fast food option close to home. I ordered a Cobb salad recently off the Uber Eats app. The picture was as below, however my salad came all chopped up. I do not like chopped salad! Upon calling the store I was told all salads come chopped unless otherwise specified in the additional directions. How was I supposed to know that , when neither the picture nor the description indicated the salad comes chopped? I was also told by the store that the pictures on their app/website are more representative of their salads, but as you can see from the photos attached from their website /app , that is not the case. I realize that people who are familiar with this chain know that the salad comes chopped, but for first time customers it leads to a bad experience. I ordered a salad with a bunch of add ons, like turkey, blue cheese crumbles, and a few others. Looking at the salad, I didn't see any of that. Some of it was buried at the bottom of the salad, but it was skimpy and I had to go digging for it. I paid extra and felt like I didn't get anything like what I paid for. They also advertise that every salad comes with pita bread. It looks like someone took a bite out of it. That's how it came. I'm stunned that anyone would let something like this leave their kitchen. I am so happy a location has opened near me, I've been to other locations but it's nice to have one close by. The location is clean and Sage and the staff are wonderful, very friendly. I made my own salad with salmon and some other toppings. It was delicious and everything was super fresh. I've told several people about the new location and one has already visited. This used to be our go to spot. Everyone used to be friendly and accommodating, and the salads were wonderful. We did a to go order this last Wednesday and we will never go back. Our scheduled order was made way too early. I understand if they were very busy, but when I arrived, my order was sitting there, and the restaurant was empty. They refused to make the salad as requested, and decided to nickel and dime me when I arrived. If I would've gotten the order to eat there, apparently this would not have been an issue. I was a bit nervous to try Simply Salad as it's hard to come by healthy vegan options that taste great. I shared with Khaira my skepticism about trying Simply Salad and my dietary preferences. First of all, let me say that I was inspired to write this review solely because they were honest enough to display their low ratings on their bathroom walls. Now that's a level of honesty that's extremely rare in the modern day of BS AI-powered bot reviews. Secondly, I'm not a guy who normally eats salads. I'm so happy they decided to open a location in the South Bay! I used to go to the location in Santa Monica a lot and I'm so excited to have a location closer. I get the build your own salad- you pick the lettuce base, toppings, protein, dressing. I get arugula, romaine, pepperocinis, tortilla strips, black beans, cilantro, corkscrew pasta, cheddar cheese, and spicy chipotle dressing. There are so many topping I like to mix it up- today I went with Southwestern, but I also like to make a Greek salad. My favorite is the Chinatown wrap, but we've had the Caesar, Cobb, Thai, the 'Cue, and the hipster, all excellent with some modifications. So many options, but not overwhelming. Hot tip: take a look at the menu BEFORE you go there and order. It can be confusing I guess if you don't know that they have pre set menu and also custom menu but maybe don't hold up the line for over 10 minutes because you're not sure on how things work and asking questions about every little thing. Its extremely frustrating to spend $20+ dollars for a salad, for it to be wrong, almost every time. Today was the final straw in them not including the dressing for the salad, (& I paid for extra). Make it make sense.... why would I want a dry salad.. While the ingredients are fresh, and always good. The lack of attention in detail to the orders is absolutely the worst I've probably ever dealt with. As each order is clearly written to show what ingredients are needed in each salad, I feel that this is just unacceptable at this point. I order both from delivery services, as well as in person from this location on a regular basis, and I would say that 9 out of 10 times, my orders are incorrect, or incomplete.
