I went to this dentist because I had received a card in the mail, saying a special about cleaning your teeth and x-rays. After a couple appointments, I asked them about this one tooth that really been bothering me that pain is just crooked and the bottom of my right side mouth immediately they recommended Invisalign. They could recommend a very good plan they said or I could pay cash and give me a nice discount thought about it and then I went ahead. I felt OK this might work so after I paid, they did the fitting and when it was time to insert the Invisalign, I was told I would have to boil these for 22 hours a day OK maybe I should've read more about it but I think the dentist should've gone over all of that with me to make a long story short, I couldn't wear it for a day. I have anxiety. I have seizure disorder and it freaked me out. Tried to get my money back or at least partial but he said I can give you free dental cleaning for the amount of $3859.until it's used up well you can imagine how long that's gonna take and do I really trust him anymore yes, I did file a complaint with my bank, but unfortunately this statute of limitation couldn't do it anymore. Yes, I did call Invisalign and they said it's the dentist who has to reconcile your account yes I did have two mouthguards when they paid for the other one said no it's not part of the plan. You have to pay out-of-pocket call to see what my balance is and no one knew so needless to say I won't go back and I'm sorry that I went there in the first place just because it was a discount on my cleaning and x-rays beware read more

I was never a fan of dentists. Something about it gives me the big ick. I've been going every six months to get my teeth cleaned and stopped going when COVID-19 started. Once that routine breaks, it's so hard to start it again, but I recently found Simply Teeth on my insurance network and noticed that it had high ratings. I decided to check it out. Although nervous as ever, they made me feel comfortable and did a thorough job with everything. The place was very modern-looking on the inside, which helped. They had those house makeover shows playing, and the TV was in front and on the ceiling, which was entertaining. They also had vibey musing playing in the background. It was my first visit to this location, and they do X-rays for all first-time customers. I was there for around 1 hour and 40 minutes to get all my X-rays done and get my teeth cleaned. My teeth feel squeaky clean, and no news of cavities (thank God). I booked my next cleaning reservation for six months later. read more

Absolutely disappointed in my first and last experience at this location. I chose this place based on the high reviews and the distance to my home, but I should have known it would have been a shotty visit by the cleanliness of the space. And everyone hoarded at the desk while patients sat in chairs in the rooms. I took an uber and took off work for this appointment and used sick time. A complete waste of my day. They said their server crashed and they're offline and can't service me today. The doctor said they would normally be able to do my extraction in the office but because of the system they can't. But also said they would give me a referral for same day. Ok fine but the whole thing felt super rushed and dismissive. It felt like they just didn't want to help/service me. Because if you do tooth extractions why not simply reschedule me at that location? I was given a referral to 2 places that were 20 and 40 minutes away. This is super not convenient for someone who doesn't have a car. When I exclaimed this and the inconvenience the assistant at the desk blatantly lies to me and says oh well "we don't do extractions here so..." when the doctor just told me otherwise. I call the place that's 20 minutes away begrudgingly as I don't want to spend more money on an Uber further away from my home. The woman who answers the phone sounds like she would rather be swimming in a pool of sharks than answering phones. I was completely put off. Then she says they don't do them on Saturdays. ELOHEL Thank you so much Simply Teeth for a subpar unprofessional experience and wasting my entire time and money. I would LOVE to be reimbursed for my $30 in Ubers (as that would be an ethical thing to do) to get to and from for no reason, spending all of 10 mins in the building. This dental practice was recommended to me by a couple people in Mount Prospect who told me it was a good place to go. Made an appointment, but found out that their response time to customers is very poor and they don't have hours that work for me. Therefore, I became a non-patient before I even walked through their doors. That said, if you don't need a practice that communicates timely and you can schedule procedures during the hours they are open, you may want to check them out. You will smile We all have to see the dentist at least once a year, so it's always nice when the dental office is modern and friendly. Everything feels new or updated inside. The entire staff has always been friendly. Each patient has a separate office area, so you feel like you're the only one there. Sitting in your chair there are 2 TV options: 1 directly in front on the wall and the 2nd is on the ceiling so you can see when fully reclined. You may not care to watch TV, but it's a distraction from having your teeth pulled... Just kidding, that never happens to me. They also use the TV'S to show you your X-rays of your teeth. My experience today was rushed and I felt like Dr. Patel did not care and was in a rush to get to something that was more pressing than me! I would rather him not schedule time with me, if he does not have the capacity to tend to me in a unrushed manner. While I appreciate the care, I receive, I left your office in fear from psinful spasms and concerns that were dismissed and glossed over with, it'll pass in a few hours! If you don't have the time to exercise good "bedside manner". Then PLEASE do not schedule patients and make them feel unheard, uncared for and scared! While I value our doctor-patient relationship, I've noticed some challenges with the bedside manner during our interactions. I believe better communication and a more empathetic approach would enhance our rapport. Which we can work on together to improve our overall experience, next time. read more

I had my Invisalign (Braves) treatment done at Simply Teeth with Dr. Patel. He took on a difficult case (my bottom row was very, very bad) and was actually excited for the challenge. Dr. Patel is a very insensitive, cold and arrogant dentist. I had a cleaning, x rays as well as an examination by Dr. Patel a few weeks ago. The very next day I spoke to Dr. Patel about the painful and swollen gums I experienced after the cleaning by his dental hygienist. His response: "What do you expect with your bone loss?" Not one consoling comment did he make to show some empathy as a doctor should. His telling me to gargle with salt water and to wait 2 weeks for my gums to get better before recontacting him is hardly reassuring and is no way to treat a patient. In view of the above, I will not be returning to his office for the procedure on my teeth he recommended. Gee, Dr. Patel, do you realize your cold and insensitive behavior during our phone call after my appointment cost you some $1,600 in future income???? How ridiculous of you!!!!! read more
