This neighborhood place is a gem! White tablecloths, table flowers and courteous service create a relaxing atmosphere after competing with North Tarrant traffic. Terrible customer service, went here for takeout dinner during the week. It was towards the end of closing time when I picked my order up. One of the male servers said "take your food and get out". There were 3 males but I couldn't tell who said it. They pretended to look like they were working when I turned around to look at them. Later that night, I checked and the food had pieces of cooking utensils metal strips in my drunken noodles and the The mango sticky rice was salty afI don't recommend going here as the portion was small and service made it distasteful. read more

Love this place. The food is really good. Always fresh. The waiter Brian (does he work 24/7?!) is amazing. Always knowledgeable, personable, efficient and FUNNY! I do very much recommend this restaurant. I've tried so many things but as far as what I would suggest to friends and family, the panaang curry, chu chi duck and pad se eew are all things I will order again and again. One note, the spice levels tend to run hotter than other places so I order one down from my usual. It's easy to add spice but not as easy to take it down a notch. read more

My family LOVES Simply Thai! We probably order take out at least once every week/2 weeks! We've had many of the dishes and everything has been amazing but my favorite is the drunken noodles dish with vegetables. My husband loves the chicken fried rice and my mom is obsessed with several of the appetizers. I'm so glad that Simply Thai is right around the corner from us! read more

If you like a bit more spice like I do they offer levels 1-5. If you are a Tabasco fiend start with a 3 and go from there. Thai is by far my favorite cuisine. There is not even a specific dish that I could honestly say I prefer over another. This is how much I love Thai food. With that said I can tell you that Simply Thai has to be one of the best Thai restaurants in the Dallas Fort Worth Area. Both the Red & Green Curries are fantastic along with the Pad Khee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and the Pad Kra Prao (Spicy Basil). I really haven't had a dish that wasn't anything but AMAZING! read more

I came in around 6:00 pm during the week and the place was empty. My first thought was to turn around and walk out the door. Luckily, we decided to stay for dinner and I am so glad we did! For starters, we had the summer rolls. They are spring rolls with shrimp and fresh veggies and we're very tasty. I ordered the Chicken Drunken noodles for my entree.....wow! The dish was flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the herbs and vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection! I will definitely be back soon! read more

Made our first visit to Simply Thai today based on it's Yelp rating and can honestly say the reviews are spot on! We ordered the Pad Woon Sen, Yummy Woon Sen and Mango with Sticky Rice and everything was fresh and full of flavor. Incredible food and amazing service. The tom yum broth was fresh made and delicious. The massaman curry was flavorful and very tamarind-y, which I love. My husband ordered the pad thai (spice level 5), then added the the house-made chili oil (awesome!). Next time he'll ask for it "Thai hot." Unbelievably delicious! We were so tired of over-salted, sticky, stale Asian food! This was an absolute delight regardless of our dissatisfaction with other local restaurants. Place had some really good food. I enjoyed the chicken curry puffs appetizer "excellent" was my daughters wording. I only have 4 stars because the non spicy curry was still a little spicy and my daughter couldn't eat it but hey I guess it is curry after all. First time visitor and got carry out of "chicken fried rice with veggies" for $8.50. It was ready on time and everyone liked it.

Very bad experience, very poor customer service. While we were staring to eat, a roach was running on top of the table, we called the waiter and he just said sorry, after that we decided not to eat the rest of our dinner, the waiter came back with the check. The manager did not even bother on apologizing. After an argument all that he offer was a small discount. Not coming back there, do not recommend it at all. read more

The guy who took our to-go order was energetic and happy to give recommendations and advice. I love that kind of attitude! Because of him, I was excited to dig in to my order. We had the curry puffs, yellow curry, crispy basil chicken and mango sticky rice. The food was delish...except for the curry puffs. Didn't care for them at all. Recently found Simply Thai in the shopping center near our new home. Reasonable prices and great food! I have tried the Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) and it was great! Most recent visit I tried the Spicy Fried Rice and it was good but someone forgot the spice! I was a little disappointed but it was still good. Walked in 30 minutes before close and the cashier had to ask permission from the owner/manager to seat me. I ordered the spicy fried rice and had zero spice. I had to ask for the chili paste and add my own which proved to be difficult some I don't know how much to use nor do I have a wok to use to mix it in. read more

Initially was going to have Indian food for lunch. Saw this place and was drawn in. I was the only one there but soon two other tables came in. It was quiet and that is rare these days. This is my new favorite restaurant! The service was friendly, we got our food quickly, and it tasted amazing! The atmosphere is very cozy, you almost feel as if you are a friend's house rather than a business. Hands down, the best Thai restaurant I've visited! My family and I went to Simply Thai during the grand opening. We ordered several items on the menu: Thai Basil Crispy Chicken, Tofu Panang Curry, and Stir-fry Green Beans with Pork. The Thai Basil Crispy Chicken is very good, probably the best that I ever had. You can test the fresh basil and kaffir lime leaves in the crispy chicken with sweet and spicy sauce - 5 star for this. It can be a little spicy if you are not used to it, so make sure you order level 1 (lowest level) if you can't handle spicy food. The Tofy Panang Curry is excellent too because the curry is very creamy, flavorful, and not watered down like many other places. You can actually tell that they are using the coconut milk in the curry. The stir-fry green beans with pork also very good and tasty with a kick of kaffir lime leaves. You can tell that they are using fresh green beans and not frozen green beans because it has fresh and crunchy taste and well cooked. I also find out that their 2 chefs are originally from Thailand and they owned restaurants in Thailand. Both chefs speak very little English too. I have been to Thailand many times, and I can tell you that Simply Thai cooking is better than many restaurants that I visited in Thailand before. read more
