Second time at Simply Thai. EXCELLENT food!! Had Pad Woon Sen. highly recommend this restaurant.

My family and I went to Simply Thai during the grand opening. We ordered several items on the menu: Thai Basil Crispy Chicken, Tofu Panang Curry, and Stir-fry Green Beans with Pork. The Thai Basil Crispy Chicken is very good, probably the best that I ever had. You can test the fresh basil and kaffir lime leaves in the crispy chicken with sweet and spicy sauce - 5 star for this. It can be a little spicy if you are not used to it, so make sure you order level 1 (lowest level) if you can't handle spicy food. The Tofy Panang Curry is excellent too because the curry is very creamy, flavorful, and not watered down like many other places. You can actually tell that they are using the coconut milk in the curry. The stir-fry green beans with pork also very good and tasty with a kick of kaffir lime leaves. You can tell that they are using fresh green beans and not frozen green beans because it has fresh and crunchy taste and well cooked. I also find out that their 2 chefs are originally from Thailand and they owned restaurants in Thailand. Both chefs speak very little English too. I have been to Thailand many times, and I can tell you that Simply Thai cooking is better than many restaurants that I visited in Thailand before. read more

We love Thai food, have been to many good and many bad Thai restaurants. This place is great. The food - we had pad thai and green curry. For appetizers we had lettuce wraps. The food was super tasty and the quality of meats etc. was superior. We were surprised to find such good food in such an unassuming litte restaurant in a non-descript retail strip center. The value - superior. Serving size was sufficient that we even had enough to take some home for leftovers. The ambiance - nothing special. Clean, tastefully - if sparsely - appointed. Comfortable. The service - Not great but good. The couple who run the place are very welcoming, polite and eager to make your visit a good one. The regular waiter wasn't there when we were so we had the son helping us. He seemed as though he would rather be someplace else but he happied up over time and was adequate. We are adding this to our "regular haunts" list to enjoy again and again. read more

This quiet, hidden strip center find is a "diamond in the rough". It's one of those places that you only share with your best friends, for fear of it becoming too popular. Drunken Noodles, level 2, were by far, the best executed flat noodle dish we have enjoyed in a long time! We found this place about a month ago and my wife exclaimed that we have eaten there 4 times in the past three weeks. Thank goodness we found Simply Thai when we did. Hoping that we will still be able to get a seat without waiting. Everything we have tried here is cooked to perfection with love and care. read more

This is by far the best Thai food you can get anywhere around!!!! The service was great, the atmosphere is relaxing, but the food is beyond description!! We tried the green and red curries, pumpkin curry and the fried rice. All were wonderful! They have a heat scale 1-5 for heat preference! For starters, the Crab Rangoon was so good! My wife brought me here, even though I wasn't very hungry, and I could not stop myself from eating them. I also ordered the shrimp Pad Woon Sen. It was good as well and had a tad bit of bite to it from choosing the medium sauce. Great job! We're going to be moving to the area soon and will definitely revisit, despite me being a Cowboys fan and everyone there like the rival teams. Nonetheless, a must try place. read more

Seems like we bounce from restaurant to restaurant trying to find good Thai food - well not anymore. We just tried Simply Thai tonight and loved it. The spring rolls were great and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff was attentive and courteous and the dining room was nice and clean. For a place that just opened it seems to be running quite smoothly. We will definitely be back again to try more of the menu. read more

Find myself eating here 4-5 times per week. Having been to Thailand five times, I can see why people are raving about Simply Thai Cuisine of Keller. This place is easily as close to Authentic Thai as a place can get without going on a 23hr flight. The Papaya Salad was sweet (the way Thai Papaya Salad is supposed to be) unlike in neighboring countries that prefer it saltier. As for the appetizers, roll the dice and you'll undoubtedly get a winner! Have almost tried them all. Being a Thai Curry junky I've tried nearly all their Curry offerings.....astounding! The Spice listing (1 to 5) is a perfect way to gauge your tolerances for your next visit. The complimentary beer was quite a nice, and welcome surprise. We really enjoy Simply Thai. We get take out about 3 times a month and they couldn't be friendlier. Portion sizes are tremendous for take out! Massaman curry with chicken and Yellow curry with chicken are both excellent. Thai dumplings and crab Rangoon are both good as well. Spice levels (1-5) have been a little hit or miss (3 is generally spicy enough) but we really like having good Thai Food in the area. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped in for lunch based on previous Yelp reviews. This place did not disappoint. The garlic Pad Kara Tiem was fantastic and the Pad Thai had great flavor. We asked for our food medium and found it was a little spicier than expected, but otherwise delicious. The Roti Crème (fried crepe with condensed milk) was heaven! Came here to pick up lunch and got the spicy fried rice and summer rolls. It was so lit. Amazing levels of spiciness and flavor. Peanut sauce is on point. Really the best Thai food in the area. Just moved to the area last month. Our 2nd time here, last night, and it wasn't a "sophomore slump"! My wife and I started by splitting the Chicken Curry Puffs. They were light, flakey and extremely tasty! The sweet 'n sour "zippy" dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment. For dinner my wife had the Pad Woon Sen noodles with chicken. She loved it, but the portion is so large she brought 1/2 home (lunch today!). I tried the Green Curry (Gang Keaw Wan) with shrimp. As with my wife, my portion was big enough to bring 1/2 home for lunch today. FYI, she's not a spicy food eater, so she ordered it 1 of 5 on the hot scale! Me, I went with 2.5 and was not disappointed; I could taste all the fresh veggies, shrimp and other spices (maybe some anise?!). The Thai iced tea "cooled" the hot down, which made the dinner even better. Brian was our waiter again, and as always, he's friendly, prompt and professional. Since it's walking distance for us, we did just that there and back home. And we'll be back for sure. If you haven't tried this place, take the walk or make the drive...It's worth it! read more
