I'm saddened to say that the food here was not good. I had 3 rolls , I think too much rice for one thing , the sauces did not taste the same like when Young owned the restaurant. The rice tasted like it was old. The fish didn't taste very good either. The staff is friendly, but the food was lousy . I don't think I could ever eat here again which is sad. I use to go to Sin City at least once or sometimes twice in a week when Young and Poncho were here. The restaurant inside looks nice from the renovation. Hopefully they will have this figured out, but I doubt it read more

I've been coming here for years. and I still support it when they reopen, coming every Tuesday or Wednesday, but the problem is the food went down and the menu doesn't specify some items. What's for dinner and what's for lunch one week I get an item, the next week it's for dinner, you can't have it the vampire rule is my favorite role, and it doesn't taste the same no more. I got my order from Uber Eats. The Japanese lasagna was good. But the roll with tuna (that cost me more than the two Japanese lasagna rolls!) was not great. The tuna tasted frozen and squishy. The shrimp tempura roll was literally all rice. I probably wouldn't order here again with all the choices in town. read more

This used to be my go to spot for AYCE sushi for the past 12 years. I was beyond thrilled when it reopened after they had to close due to personal reasons. Seeing Yung and Pancho still there was the absolute highlight. Something has definitely changed since the reopening. First Yung stopped working part time and I truly hope he is enjoying his retirement but I just found out that Pancho has left the business as well. I don't know about you but it was because of them that Sin City kept its original charm. While the flavor is still great the service is starting to slack. Multiple of my orders were being forgotten or I had to wait for so long that the waiter actually wanted to give me my bill. Mind blown. Sushi chefs having to stop making orders for their customers because the owner's family/friends have to come first. It's disappointing to say the least. I don't think I will be back for a while because my last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

This is such a great local, family-owned sushi spot and I'm really glad we have it in the area. They offer all-you-can-eat, which makes it easy to try a little bit of everything without breaking the bank. The rolls are flavorful, the appetizers are tasty, and you can tell they put pride into the food. The staff here is also incredibly nice--always welcoming, attentive, and quick to make sure you're having a good experience. The only thing keeping this from being a full 5 stars is the rice-to-fish ratio on the nigiri, which could use a bit more balance. The fish is fresh and delicious, but the rice can be a little heavy compared to the topping. That said, everything else more than makes up for it. Arrived with our party of 8. There was debate in our party over how long it had been open with the restaurant giving a soft opening vibe. There was rock blaring from the kitchen which may have contributed to the late service on some dishes. The waitress was very pleasant but seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Most of our party got the AYCE and I was disappointed when they excluded sashimi and that wasn't explained on the menu. The food arrived chaoticly with a few of the rolls arriving quickly while other nigiri plates taking a long time. The restaurant was not busy with only a few tables occupied. Drinks were limited with an excuse being offered that the beer and liquor license not being issued yet. That being said the waitress was now being assisted by more help yet we had to request water refills multiple times. The highlight was the rainbow roll which was well presented and tasty unfortunately that was the exception. Probably due to our party size the tip was automatically included but again this was not explained. I tip based on level of service and in this case the staff is fortunate the 18% tip was already on the bill. With many sushi options in the valley we will definitely not return which is disappointing due to the convenience of the restaurants proximity to family. read more

I've gone here once before and don't really remember too much but went again today with my sister as it was the closest AYCE sushi to us. Went around 4:45pm and it was completely empty inside with just the employees. Big plus as it meant that they were more attentive and experience was more personal. I liked the service that they provided. They took very good care of us and we were able to give our orders whenever. The decor and furniture inside is very plain but it's okay. Just wanted to spend time with my sister. The food is pretty good. We got a few rolls, Mario Special, Vampire and Paradise to list a few, and my sister and I enjoyed it. Absolutely love the baked mussels here! They're exactly how I like it. I would come again but it's definitely not my go to spot. Check came out to about $75 without tip for 2 people. read more

Best kept secret in Vegas! Great service, great roll choices, lots of variety, and amazing prices. The seating area is basic and so is the sushi bar, but you don't need extra frills when your rolls and food are this great! Pretty good place! We ended up here when trying to find a sushi place for family that was in town on a Sunday around 2pm. There were only 2 other groups when we arrived and by the time we were eating, we were the only ones left. We were greeted right away and led to a table really quick. We didn't do all you can eat, but I believe it was around $35 for that. This is a bit tucked away behind Pop on Spencer. I ordered the Japanese Lasagna and Paradise rolls. My husband and his cousin got 2 rolls each and shared a hot sake. I thought my food was really good! The guys said they drank the sake really fast because it wasn't too great, but they enjoyed it enough to keep drinking it. Everything came out really quick and tasted really good! Because we were the only ones in there, service was pretty spot on, and we got our food, ate, and were out in maybe 30 to 40 min. I think this place would be great for a quick lunch or somewhere that's quiet for dinner. Nice service, clean restaurant, and good food. I would definitely try it again! read more

Have been a big fan for many years through a couple of different locations. In the past always a 5 star. Now unfortunately it has a new ownership and things have changed dramatically and not for the better. Service was just fair. The music coming from the kitchen was ridiculously loud and most disappointing was very average quality of the sushi. Several roll were so loosely rolled that when you tried to pick up they just fell apart. In addition they now use a lot more rice in the rolls Overall just a very average experience. I'll miss the original Sin City Sushi. read more

We are so happy with the service! The sushi was incredible, the quality of it tasted so fresh. The lighting and the seating was great too. It was just my wife, my 5 month old son and it was overall a great service. Our server was attentive and we never had to worry about refilling our drinks or even time of food arrival. The moment we put in our order the food came right up. We don't eat to much but for an all you can eat sushi it was worth the money. Decided to try this place after years of driving by after I had seen a review from a local food influencer on instagram claiming this was the best place in Las Vegas. From now on I will question any review this person posts as this place was anything but the best. I walked in about 5:50 on a Saturday afternoon and about half the tables were full and there was no one at the bar. I could tell there were 2 servers working and it took more than 5 minutes to get acknowledged and then seated at the bar. After almost 15 minutes the server came back and asked me to move spots closer to the chef so it was easier for him to take an order (not a big deal but you think she would have sat me there in the first place). At this time she finally took an order for appetizers and advised the chef would take the sushi order. After several minutes I realized I would have to tell the chef what I wanted that he wasn't going to ask. My water sat empty for more then ten minutes by the time I finished my first order when the server came back and asked if I wanted dessert and I declined and asked for water and another appetizer before you could her sigh before she stormed away. What is with servers with such bad attitudes you expect to get tipped but you do not want to provide any kind of service. By this time it was 6:30 and all the original tables had left and there was only one other new table in the place so it wasn't busy enough for bad service. Now let's get to the food. They advertise that this is a modern sushi restaurant and this is the complete opposite. While the food was tasty and flavorful these were the largest sushi rolls I have ever had. The rice was wrapped around 1 1/2 times and were difficult to put in your mouth. The nigiri also had large amounts of rice. The nigiri menu is small compared to most places and compared to most newer modern sushi restaurants in town the menu is old and outdated. Even with how large the rolls and nigiri was they were flavorful enough to think about giving this place a second chance if it wasn't for the horrible service. read more

I've been here a few times with my brother, because he lives close to the restaurant. I was never impressed with the quality of fish in comparison to other establishments this city has to offer. With that aside - this latest, and certainly last, visit was the worst service I have ever received in this city. The server, an older woman who doesn't seem to speak great English (Night shift Nov 7), gave us pieces of paper and told us to write our orders on it. That's strange, but ok. We write our orders and my brother gets 3 plates of sushi rolls before I receive a single nigiri (my entire order was nigiri). To make things worse, I watched him eat all of his food before I ever saw mine. We even asked the server if the other food was coming, she said yes without checking with the chefs. Turns out that, apparently, one of the chefs had bad eye-site and missed all of my marks. Ok, I'm not mad at the chef for that, but this is why it's typical to have someone take your order verbatim. At the very least, make an effort to check on it when you see one person eating and the other hungry. After complaining, and telling them to cancel my order, I was still given a bill for the beer and edamame I had (all I had for the entire 30-40 minutes sitting down). This is Las Vegas, and I worked food and beverage here for years. This is a situation where things should be comped. I didn't ask for it, but getting that bill put in front of me - after everything - was just another thorn in my side. I will never return and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more
