Love this place! It's our favorite sushi spot in all of Las Vegas. Everything is fresh and rolls are a really good size.

Just visited for the Grand Reopening earlier tonight and Sin City did not disappoint. Fresh wall to wall decor, paint, and flooring makes the space feel inviting, fresh, and modern. We've been going for 15+ years (since their original location on Eastern and Serene) and they have always been our favorite AYCE Sushi place in town. When they temporarily closed in November, we frantically tried different places and none of them quite hit the spot. Pancho and Young were back tonight serving up the classics, plus reimagined rolls, and yuzu nigiri. Didn't catch our servers name but she was on it taking our orders frequently. The chefs were slammed but they endlessly cranked out roll after roll. They are working out the kinks in working with a new team, menu and system but still managed to kill it on opening night. Best of luck to the new team and we can't wait to visit again...

Love the staff here. Although we have moved further, this is still one of our favorite places to go. Food is great, they tell us ahead of time when they are out of specific food. Simple place bit very spacious. Sad to see it's been slow for all food industry so we support small mon & pop shops more than ever. Great food & they bring it out as soon as it is ready. Love the bakes mussels here.

I've gone here once before and don't really remember too much but went again today with my sister as it was the closest AYCE sushi to us. Went around 4:45pm and it was completely empty inside with just the employees. Big plus as it meant that they were more attentive and experience was more personal. I liked the service that they provided. They took very good care of us and we were able to give our orders whenever. The decor and furniture inside is very plain but it's okay. Just wanted to spend time with my sister. The food is pretty good. We got a few rolls, Mario Special, Vampire and Paradise to list a few, and my sister and I enjoyed it. Absolutely love the baked mussels here! They're exactly how I like it. I would come again but it's definitely not my go to spot. Check came out to about $75 without tip for 2 people.

The best Ayce sushi place in Vegas!…read more If you're tired of the boring buffets on the strip, I highly recommend to visitors to check out this restaurant off the strip in Chinatown. Food (4.5/5) I strongly recommend to order the nigiri and stay away from the rolls if you want to get your moneys worth. The nigiri selection is pretty huge with multiple unique cuts of fish that other Ayce sushi places usually don't include (surf clam, ono, yellowtail toro, uni). Although some of the premium items you're only allowed to order once, it was pretty satisfying to be able to even try it as most ayce sushi places don't even include these items. The nigiri is on the smaller side (maybe 1/2 the size of regular size nigiri) but I appreciate how they didn't include a ton of sushi rice with each piece. It seemed like this restaurant wanted you to get your moneys worth and not have you fill up on rice! Highlight items are definitely everything on the special nigiri order menu selection, eel nigiri, and seared salmon. The regular tuna nigiri was just alright and my group did not like the ikura as it was a little off tasting. They also include free ice cream at the end and the affogado was pretty good! Service (4.75/5) The service was pretty good for such a small and packed place. We went right at opening and it was completely full with a long wait outside on a Sunday afternoon. The best part of this place is that there is NO item ordering restriction so essentially you could order 100+ nigiri for a single round of ordering. Most ayce sushi places I've eaten at have very shady rules that try to screw you over so you can't order a lot, but this place took the opposite approach so I can see why it's always busy! The staff was very quick at bringing out the food and having you order again. There is a 90 minute time limit to eat so start ordering right away. Ambience (4.5/5) This restaurant is located in a strip mall plaza in Chinatown and the parking was limited, but once inside this restaurant was pretty cute with the decorations. It felt clean and had a nice cool A/C going inside. Value (5/5) 20$ lunch until 4pm on Monday-Thursday and 35$ all other times. The best value AYCE I've had and better than anything I've paid for in California. Overall (4.68/5) I would definitely return to Vegas just to eat here again and I thought the food quality was better than any Bacchanal or Wynn Buffet on the strip.

I can eat that much, but did a pretty good job selecting from the nigiri side of the menu while hubby packed down a lot of rolls. Every item was ultra-fresh. Hot when hot and cold when cold. I would order something and just a minute or two it would come out. This was even with an 80% full restaurant. Even more impressive was that hot items came out very, very quickly. Matthew, my server was a cool laid-back guy who was super attentive. Everything he recommended was great! And he checked on almost everything I ordered! Something else impressive was how quickly they clean cleared and reset the tables. It was a team effort. Everyone who was in the restaurant serving or busing helped replace the items on the table. It was very cool to see. I have to mention Cassie, the first and last person I talked to. She greeted me at the door with a happy smile, asked if this was my first time and kindly recommended a lot of wonderful items when explaining the menu. On the way out she thanked me for coming. The space was simply but well decorated. They picked a great upbeat soundtrack for midday. It was a wonderful meal all around! I'll be back for sure.

The tables are very tight together though so you're basically sitting side by side strangers. The people next to us had to push the table out to leave which should say something about how close they are. The servers though are terrible. We placed one order and waited about half an hour until they came back. I think our server went on a break after taking our order but no one else checked on us until we flagged someone down which shouldn't happen if you're doing Ayce. The restaurant wasn't even busy and there was no wait at all and so many empty tables. We even had to leave cash after placing a second order because no one came by after we finished to run our card. They seem to pay more attention to certain tables than others. Would've liked to come back more often but sadly the service for Ayce is not worth it.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto.
